"The Park Hotel boasts an unbeatable location with direct access to People's Square metro station, making it incredibly convenient to walk to Nanjing Road and the Bund. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room facilities, however, are noticeably dated. The air conditioning vent in my room was quite noisy, which might bother light sleepers. That said, the bedding was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure – a hot shower definitely helped wash away the day's fatigue. At check-in, the front desk staff proactively informed me that I could use my room key to bypass the queue for boxed butterfly pastries, though bulk purchases still required waiting in line. The air conditioning was very powerful, so I had to remember to turn it off before bed. Overall, staying here offers a taste of old Shanghai charm and incredible convenience. It's a good value for money, especially for tourists who spend their days exploring and just need a comfortable place to sleep. If you're looking for modern luxury or are very sensitive to noise, you might want to reconsider. But if you appreciate historic buildings and don't mind minor imperfections, this place is definitely worth experiencing."
