This hotel is truly excellent in every way. The service is outstanding, with every staff member providing top-notch assistance. The facilities are also very comprehensive. There's a coffee shop downstairs and a shuttle bus service to Disneyland. The shuttle even provides water and snacks, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel's proximity to Disneyland is also a big plus, with a travel time of just 20 minutes. The staff thoughtfully book the shuttle times during check-in, which is super convenient. Both breakfast and the late-night snacks are great. I highly recommend staying here.

The front desk service was excellent. We bought a lot of things online and had them delivered, and the staff were very patient and responsible in helping us find all our packages. The location is quite close to both the train station and the subway station. The only downside is that, probably because of its proximity to the train station, it can be a bit difficult to get a taxi and there might be some traffic jams. Ordering takeout was also very convenient.

I had a one night stay here as a layover on my way back to Sydney. The hotel is very nice, it has a luxury feel without the luxury price tag. The staff are very friendly and they even had someone with English speaking ability at the check-in counter. The staff were polite and helpful and they were well presented and professional. The room was great, it is spacious. In my particular room there was a study table, a couch by the window and a well constructed bed with a solid wooden base and a cushioned headboard. The bed was quite comfortable to sleep in and the bedding was clean and well maintained. The pillows are soft so if you need something firmer it may be worth brining your own pillow or enquiring with reception. The room has WIfi and it is high quality. I was also delighted to find that this hotel has very modern fittings, this hotel has a power outlet that accommodates USB-C and USB-A type cables which means no travel adapters are required to change phones, power banks, earphones, or smart watches. The hotel is located about 15 minutes away from Pudong Airport so it is extremely convenient for thise that have an overnight layover. The hotel is located on a road where there are plenty of local food options around, however, if you are a westerner and cannot tolerate local food, I suggest you either bring your own where possible or look for a hotel closer to Western food outlets. Overall an excellent stay, easy Check-in and Check-Out processes. I recommend this hotel highly.

This is a family-friendly hotel we keep coming back to. During the summer weekend, it's packed with kids, but it's much better outside of peak season. The hotel offers plenty of activities. When the weather is good, you can enjoy the outdoor pool, and in the evenings, the indoor pool is also available, which includes a shallow kids' pool. Outdoors, there's a sandpit, and you can also visit Squirrel Kingdom or the arcade nearby. We also went to the petting zoo, which had a wide variety of animals, even porcupines, foxes, and raccoons. The kids had a fantastic time. The room was quite spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower, plus a small balcony perfect for drying clothes. Overall, it was a good experience.

From the moment I stepped into the room, I was impressed by the attention to detail. The bedding had a high thread count, feeling luxurious yet breathable. The sofa by the window was perfectly angled to offer a fantastic view of the city skyline, and even the lighting was gently adjusted to be soft and non-glaring. The biggest pleasant surprise was being offered a complimentary late check-out until 2 PM. This meant I could leisurely enjoy breakfast and then relax in the room for a bit longer without rushing to pack up. This unhurried, relaxed feeling, free from any pressure, truly is the most luxurious experience when traveling.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to the Pudong International Exhibition Center and Century Park, which is super convenient for attending exhibitions and sightseeing. There are shopping malls and a subway station nearby, making transportation a breeze. The pool is fantastic, and the service is top-notch, especially Nancy's service, which truly stood out. She was diligent and responsible, genuinely friendly, and communicated with great detail and patience. She quickly understood our needs and went above and beyond to help us resolve various issues, working efficiently and reliably. Her service was perfectly balanced – attentive without being intrusive. Overall, the experience was great, and her professionalism was outstanding. A sincere thank you to Nancy for her dedicated efforts; I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed in a detached house with a large lawn and a natural river outside, perfect for boating and diving, bringing back childhood memories. The entire area boasts fresh and pleasant air, and enjoying tea or a drink on the patio or terrace offers a unique charm. The room was clean and tidy, with complete and comfortable facilities. The mattress firmness was just right, providing much-needed relief for my old aching back. Many other thoughtful details stood out, such as the café, auditorium, unique landscaped green spaces, flower beds, and a large fruit and vegetable base. These diverse features make it suitable for various events like study tours, weddings, corporate team celebrations, family activities, and pet events. It's truly a rare and unparalleled choice within Shanghai, I highly recommend it!

It's beautiful during the day, and when the lights come on at night, it's a completely different atmosphere. The entire splendor of Shanghai is right before your eyes; it's truly, truly gorgeous. From the room view and hotel service to the overall experience, this stay left me extremely satisfied. Especially in a city like Shanghai, being able to have such a beautiful river view room, waking up to such a scene in the morning, and enjoying Shanghai's dazzling night view in the evening, is truly blissful. If you're traveling to Shanghai, I highly recommend staying here once! This is my second stay here, and it's definitely a great value-for-money option near Disney. The room was huge, and they even provided complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge. After a whole day at Disney, it was a perfect place to rest. Next door is 'One Foot Garden', so on the second day, we just took the kids there to play on the slides and in the sand. The adults enjoyed the breeze by the lake and had some tea. This time, I was a bit lazy and also ate at the hotel; the set meal was really good value, and the scrambled eggs were incredibly delicious.

During the May Day holiday, I specifically brought my child to visit Shanghai Wild Animal Park. After comparing many hotels in advance, I'm so glad I chose Guyiju Hotel! Traveling with kids, the last thing you want is a tiring and complicated experience. This hotel is perfect for family trips, from its location, environment, and hygiene to its service. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic, so I must give it a well-deserved five-star rating! The location is truly unbeatable. It's incredibly close to Shanghai Wild Animal Park, just a 10-15 minute drive away. This means no early mornings and long commutes, and my child didn't get restless during the car ride. The hotel even offers a thoughtful complimentary shuttle service, dropping guests off at the zoo promptly at 9:00 AM and picking them up at 5:00 PM. This saved us the hassle of finding parking ourselves and made traveling with a child so much easier and more convenient. The surrounding area is also very well-equipped. Within walking distance, there are supermarkets, snack shops, convenience stores, and various restaurants. You can easily buy snacks, milk, and baby food that your child loves at any time. All daily essentials are taken care of in one go, meaning you don't need to carry a huge bag of supplies when you go out with your child. It's also very close to the subway, making it convenient to explore the city center later on. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and elegant, with simple yet cozy decor. The lobby is clean, bright, and well-ventilated, without any noisy or bustling atmosphere, which is ideal for children to rest and play. The public areas are meticulously cleaned, spotless, and there are even resting chairs, so kids can sit down and take a break when they get tired. The whole atmosphere feels comfortable and reassuring. The room's cleanliness was exceptionally good. Every corner of the room, under the bed, and the vanity area were spotless, free of any strange odors or dust. The bed was very comfortable, with a mattress that was just the right balance of soft and firm, so my child, after a day of playing, could lie down and sleep soundly. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the floor was treated with anti-slip material, so I didn't have to worry about my child slipping and falling. The attention to detail extends to the room facilities, which are also very child-friendly. The smart lighting and automatic curtains are easy to operate, so you don't have to walk back and forth to switch things on and off, making it more convenient to care for your child. The toiletries are mild and non-irritating, which gave me peace of mind using them for my child. The Wi-Fi speed was also very fast, so my child could watch cartoons occasionally and adults could use their phones without any lag. What I want to praise the most is the hotel's service. The front desk staff were incredibly gentle and patient. Check-in was quick, and they proactively and thoughtfully recommended a touring route for the zoo, suitable activities for children, and reminded us of important tips for traveling with kids. They even sent a fruit platter to our room. Any request we had, the front desk responded promptly. When my child temporarily needed hot water or a little help, the staff enthusiastically assisted, showing genuine warmth and kindness that made us feel very welcome. The breakfast selection was also very rich, including light porridges, steamed buns, fried rice, multigrain side dishes, etc. The taste was light and not greasy, perfect for a child's stomach, easy to digest, and appealing to picky eaters. After a hearty breakfast, we were full of energy to explore the zoo. The hotel also has vending machines with drinks, snacks, and instant noodles, so even if you're too lazy to go out at night, you can easily get supplies. It's truly convenient when traveling with kids. When traveling with children, cleanliness, safety, convenience, and ease are paramount, and Guyiju Hotel meets all these criteria. It offers excellent value for money, a quiet environment, impeccable hygiene, and warm service. Its proximity to the zoo and the shuttle service make it a true hidden gem for family trips. This May Day trip to Shanghai Wild Animal Park was so easy and enjoyable because we chose Guyiju Hotel. My child had a great time, and the adults weren't exhausted. I sincerely recommend this hotel to all parents bringing their children to Shanghai Wild Animal Park or Disneyland.
