Ningbo Hotels with Pools

Located in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location. The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable. The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate. It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.

The villa in Phase 2 was fantastic! The environment was lovely, and the two bedrooms were spotless. One of the rooms even had a bathtub, and there was a small riverside patio with a table, chairs, and a parasol. It would be perfect for a family chat out there if the weather was cooler. The hotel service was excellent. When checking in, I added Xianxian, our personal butler, on WeChat. After that, whenever we had a problem or needed a buggy, I just messaged Xianxian on WeChat, and the response was incredibly fast. Thumbs up! The hotel overall has a great resort feel. If you want to use a larger outdoor pool, you can go to their sister hotel, Kaiyuan Resort Jiulong Lake, for a swim.

Choosing the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Ningbo for my recent trip to Ningbo was absolutely the right decision! It definitely deserves a five-star rating! Let's start with the hardware – the rooms are spacious, the carpets are soft, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom, paved with white marble, feels very luxurious, and the addition of a smart toilet and a large bathtub is fantastic! Now, for the 'software' – the service – which truly deserves a special mention. I've stayed in many five-star hotels, and the service here is by far the best! When we checked in, the gentleman who assisted us was incredibly polite and well-mannered, and he even managed to upgrade our room when possible. The other staff members were seamlessly coordinated, whether it was helping with luggage storage or directing us to the elevators. Every time we left, the doormen and lobby concierges were so friendly and always waved goodbye, making us feel truly at home. The breakfast was also superb, and I even got to try the famous Ningbo tangyuan (rice balls). Ningbo is a beautiful city that left a lasting impression. When our trip ended, the hotel even arranged a car to take us to the airport. All connections were smooth and convenient. Even at checkout, the 'bellhop' proactively offered assistance, telling us to simply hand her the room card. The driver who took us to the airport was also incredibly polite! If there were a six-star rating, they would definitely earn it. Too bad I didn't take many photos!

The panoramic terrace suite we booked this time was definitely the best room in the entire hotel. Apparently, there are only two such suites in total, one on the sixth floor and one on the seventh. We got the one on the seventh floor, which is the outermost top-floor position shown in the first picture. The great thing about this location is that it's far from the central area, making it very quiet (the pool area can get quite noisy with activities). The view towards the reservoir is completely open, filled with lush greenery, and the scenery is fantastic. The terrace on the seventh floor is smaller than the one on the sixth, but in exchange, the indoor space is an entire extra room larger. During this Dragon Boat Festival, it was hot and rainy, so having this extra air-conditioned room turned out to be even more practical than the terrace. I was quite satisfied with the room's facilities and layout. However, there was one issue: on both nights, large flying insects (beetles) somehow got into the room. It seems like there might be a gap somewhere that isn't properly sealed (I don't think we let them in when opening the door, as bugs this size would be very noticeable). I suggest the hotel checks this. The hotel offers a wealth of activities suitable for families. This time, we mainly enjoyed the lake boat ride, the swimming pool, and go-karts. My child loved it and had a great time, insisting I give a five-star review! Regarding dining, the breakfast quality doesn't quite match that of a typical five-star hotel, though the variety is decent. The hotel's Chinese restaurant offers average, run-of-the-mill lunch and dinner options, and the prices aren't too expensive. Driving half an hour to Zhenhai offers more choices. The hotel's butler service was quite attentive, and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. The small gift received upon check-out was also a nice touch. Overall, our experience this time was very good.

This time, I brought my pregnant wife for a two-night stay at the Cordis Hotel Ningbo Dongqian Lake, and overall, it exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Annie. Location and Environment: The hotel is right by Dongqian Lake, and the gardens have a charming Jiangnan aesthetic. An evening stroll by the lake was incredibly therapeutic. Room and Facilities: We had originally booked a different room type, but after Annie learned my wife was pregnant before our check-in, she proactively upgraded us to a room in the Baby Bella building. The room was very quiet, had excellent natural light, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing my pregnant wife to rest very well. The entire building offered high privacy and easy access, which is very friendly for travel during pregnancy. Dining and Service: Breakfast was abundant, with both local specialties and Western options. The service was consistently excellent, especially Annie, who meticulously coordinated our needs before check-in. During our stay, she helped us with the room upgrade and arranged for a quiet area. Her thoughtful and attentive service throughout made us feel very at ease. Recommended for: It's suitable for families with children, couples, and those traveling with seniors or pregnant women looking to relax. Nearby attractions like Xiaoputuo and Hanling Old Street are just a short drive away. Special thanks to Annie for all her attentive service before, during, and after our stay, which made this short trip during pregnancy exceptionally warm.

Staying at the Marriott in Ningbo was a great choice for my trip. The high-ceilinged lobby immediately sets a wonderful atmosphere, but what really stood out was the incredibly warm service from Ayla at the front desk. Her check-in process wasn't rushed or robotic; she spoke softly and attentively, even kindly recommending a great spot to catch the beautiful Three Rivers night view in the evening. The whole check-in was seamless, and every detail showed genuine care. It added a comforting warmth to my journey. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Nestled in a bamboo-ringed mountain hollow, Xikou Manxiugu B&B ingeniously tucks each forest villa into the hillside, creating a unique and secluded haven. Staying in these hollow villas, you can enjoy snow in winter, mist in spring, cicadas in summer, and autumn leaves, truly embracing the wild. You can imagine yourself as a free bird in the forest or an uninhibited 'wildling' from ancient times, far from the hustle and bustle. Wake up to the morning sun, watch the sunset in the evening, sip tea leisurely, enjoy a glass of wine at night, listen to the rain on the leaves, chat with friends, find romance with a loved one, or simply gaze at the starry sky. It’s simply delightful! I come back every other year for a few days; I arrive feeling weary and leave feeling completely refreshed. The villas at Manxiugu are diverse in style and shape – from two-story Gothic-inspired spires to charming Baroque wooden cabins. Each room has a pleasant woody fragrance that ensures a peaceful night's sleep. On hot days, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear infinity pool. And the chef's culinary skills are truly exceptional – the food is delicious, not greasy, and incredibly appetizing, all at a reasonable price, so there's no need to dine out. The service philosophy is guest-first, with every request met and every detail handled until you're completely satisfied. I especially want to thank Miss Xiaoyu, who thoughtfully carried our bags and helped us, who aren't so young anymore, settle in comfortably. My detailed rambling is simply because my stay was so comfortable and satisfying, so I highly recommend everyone give it a try!

This beachfront resort is truly a healing escape. I have to specifically commend the poolside staff – they were consistently kind and enthusiastic, proactively offering drinking water and floats. They even reminded children to stay safe, showing a truly service-oriented approach that made the experience incredibly warm. The hotel's facilities are top-notch: a prime ocean-view balcony, indoor and outdoor dual swimming pools, and a private beach. It's perfect for families with kids, who could easily spend all day playing. The cleaning was also very meticulous. The only drawback was the front desk. On weekends, with high guest traffic, there were only a few counters open. The staff's procedures weren't smooth; checking orders and processing check-ins repeatedly got stuck, leading to a nearly 40-minute wait in line. I recommend the hotel open more front desk windows during peak season and provide better training for the front desk staff to resolve the check-in queue issue. Otherwise, such a wonderful environment could easily be marred by a frustrating check-in process.

I finally got to experience the much-anticipated Park Hyatt Ningbo for the first time, and it was a perfect trip from start to finish. I absolutely have to give a special shout-out to the duty manager, Jim! Jim proactively contacted me before I even arrived to confirm my travel needs, which was incredibly thoughtful. Upon arrival, he specifically upgraded us to a Deluxe Courtyard Twin Room. The courtyard was secluded and tranquil, and the room's layout was elegant, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Throughout our entire stay, he would frequently message us to check in, asking if our meals and activities were enjoyable. When we had questions, he responded super quickly. His service was attentive yet discreet, never feeling intrusive. As for the hotel itself, it's nestled by Dongqian Lake, with white walls and dark tiles, perfectly embodying the ambiance of a Jiangnan garden. Every step offers a picturesque scene, perfect for photos. The room hygiene and quality of amenities were also top-notch. It was truly Jim's meticulous and personalized service that made this first stay so full of surprises and made us feel right at home. I genuinely recommend it to friends vacationing in Ningbo. Next time I'm back at Dongqian Lake, I'll definitely be staying at Park Hyatt Ningbo again!

The family room is a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, and both bedrooms have TVs, which is very convenient. However, our room faced the road, not the Sanjiang River. I'm not sure if there are also parent-child rooms on the opposite side. The soundproofing is excellent, and we slept well. The room decor has an old-money style. The front desk service was very responsive and friendly. The parking lot is a bit old. The location is convenient; you can walk to Tianyi Square. The popular shops like Jimau Duitang and A Mao Restaurant are also within walking distance, and the food is quite good. It's easy to rent an electric scooter downstairs, and you can ride to the Old Bund, which is also not far if you prefer to walk.
