Hotel Indigo ROME - ST. GEORGE by IHG
"The Indigo St. George exceeded all expectations. It’s a beautiful, warm, comfortable hotel in a great location."
Villa Spalletti Trivelli - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"There is no doubt, Villa Spalletti Trivelli is a beautiful hotel. On a positive note, we had a very nice and comfortable room. The breakfast was very good too and so were the members of staff serving breakfast. The Reception staff could be so much better for such a high-stardard hotel. The hotel was quite empty and we had the impression, nobody really cared who we were or how were finding the hotel. Again, at this level you expect the staff to at least show some enthusiasm and helpful attitude towards their guests. The sauna was turned off so we had to request to turn it on two hours ahead. We did so but it was still pretty cold. Again, nothing terribly wrong, just maybe train the Reception staff a bit better."
Hotel D’Inghilterra Roma – Starhotels Collezione

Crowne Plaza ROME - ST. PETER'S by IHG
"We had a bad experienced with the hotel because they gave us the wrong key and worst that wrong key was able to open the room which was already occupied. Our concerned is the privacy of the hotel guest due to wrong key provided by the staff."

"Great hotel, excellent breakfast. Very good location."
Corinthia Rome
"Corinthia Rome delivers the rare combination of a magnificent historic property and truly world class hospitality. The hotel itself is stunning and embodies the refined elegance for which Corinthia is known. The furnishings, design, and overall atmosphere are luxurious and refined, placing it among the finest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. The location is exceptional, just moments from Piazza del Popolo and within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps, with Via del Corso and Via del Babuino offering excellent shopping nearby, while the Prati district, with its boutiques, restaurants, and local atmosphere, is only a short five minute taxi ride away. The hotel was also impeccably maintained throughout our stay. The level of cleanliness was exceptional, and the attention to detail was evident in every area of the property. Equally impressive was the soundproofing. Despite being in the heart of Rome, our room was remarkably quiet, allowing for a truly restful and uninterrupted stay. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the service. Quite simply, it is the best service I have experienced in Italy. Every member of staff we encountered was professional, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. Throughout our stay, we were made to feel at home while still enjoying the highest standards of luxury service. A special thank you to Paola Polidori, who was extremely helpful, gracious, and courteous from the moment we arrived. She kindly took the time to give us a tour of the hotel, and I was particularly impressed by the beautiful collection of rooms and suites within the historic palace. It was a rare opportunity to appreciate the level of care, design, and craftsmanship that has gone into creating such a remarkable property. The culinary offering was outstanding. In fact, we enjoyed so many meals at the hotel that we found ourselves returning again and again for both lunch and dinner, as well as making regular use of the in room dining service. The restaurant team struck the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism, and their experience was evident in every interaction. We enjoyed breakfasts in our room, lunches in the restaurant, and a mixture of restaurant dining and in room dining for dinner. Every meal was excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was exceptional, and the level of hospitality throughout the hotel was consistently outstanding. While it would be impossible to mention everyone by name, I would particularly like to thank the exceptional Lucio, Stefano, Daniel, and Jon from the restaurant team, as well as Giuseppe from the in room dining team. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness helped make our stay especially memorable. Corinthia Rome has set a new benchmark for hospitality in Italy."

Rome is a city with tons of tourist attractions. You'll never want to leave! Located in Italy, Rome is a well-known and vibrant city.
Every day, travelers worldwide arrive at two Rome airports to start their vacations and business trips in Rome. If you don't want to take a flight, coming to Rome by train is a good choice as well.
Getting to and Around Rome
If you’re flying, Rome’s got two main airports: Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Ciampino Airport (CIA).
Fiumicino Airport is Italy's largest airport and Rome's main international hub, will likely be your arrival point. Ciampino Airport is much closer to the city, but it mainly serves budget and charter flights.
Fiumicino Airport is located 30km southwest of central Rome, Fiumicino is Rome’s main international gateway. You can reach the city center easily via the Leonardo Express train (32 mins to Termini Station) or regional FL1 trains to other hubs.
Ciampino Airport is situated just 15km southeast of central Rome, but it’s smaller. You can access Rome via dedicated buses (e.g., Terravision/SIT; 30-40 mins to Termini) or taxis/rideshares (no direct train link).

Best Areas to Stay in Rome
If you’re not sure where to stay, areas like the historic center or Trastevere are great options.
I strongly recommend people who visit Rome for the first time, do yourself a favor and stay near the historic center, as this area never disappoints! You’ll be steps from the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, surrounded by iconic gelato shops and pasta joints.
Sure, Trastevere is magical with its cobblestone lanes and trattorias, and Prati is polished with chic cafes – but Monti’s bohemian vibe and hidden piazzas? That’s my quiet escape.

Tops Things To Do in Rome
Trastevere: Crisscrossed with ivy-draped alleys and fairy-lit piazzas, this medieval quarter buzzes with artisan shops and family-runtrattorias. By day, explore Santa Maria in Trastevere (Rome’s oldest church); by night, join locals sipping wine on cobblestone steps. It’sauthentic, lively, and feels frozen in time—yet just a bridge away from the historic center.
Pantheon: Best-preserved of Rome’s ancient monuments, this former temple-turned-church boasts the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome (its oculus flooding light onto marble floors). Free to enter, you’ll stand beneath the same roof as Raphael (buried inside) and Michelangelo (who studied it for St. Peter’s). Pro tip: Visit at noon when the sunbeam pierces like a laser!
Trevi Fountain: Tucked between palazzos, this 18th-century masterpiece depicts Oceanus’ chariot pulled by seahorses—all carved from gleaming travertine. Toss a coin over your left shoulder (using your right hand) to ensure your return to Rome; €3,000+dailygets donated to charity. Go at dawn to avoid crowds, or see it glow like liquid gold under night lights.
