Amazing
GGuest UserFirst off, the service was excellent. We arrived around 12 AM, and the bellboy was very helpful with our luggage. The front desk staff were also very friendly. Even though there were no Chinese-speaking staff, everyone was very patient. Whenever we passed through the lobby, they'd always greet us. Secondly, the environment and hygiene were great. We stayed in what seemed to be the new building, and the room was tidy with a wide-open view. Lotte Duty Free Shop is right next door, and there's a smoking area just 50 meters outside the lobby, which is very convenient. The room facilities were complete, though toothpaste and toothbrushes were chargeable, but not expensive. The twin beds were also very comfortable. Thanks!

AAnonymous UserThe first morning I woke up to a strong smell of urine in the room, but it was fine on the second day. Breakfast was normal on the first day, but on the second day (the 9:30 slot), there was a huge queue. The local guests were really over the top; people were even queuing for fruit, and green bananas were being snatched up – it was quite a sight to behold! But it's still much better than staying at Lotte Tower. At least the front desk service was excellent, and the staff were proactive when I left the hotel. Plus, the surrounding area is great for walking around and exploring, a vast improvement over Lotte.

GGuest UserI had an incredible stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. The service was exceptional, with a special mention to Jenna, I met the first day with 6 hours flight delay who went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. The housekeeping team was equally outstanding, ensuring my room was always spotless and adding thoughtful touches that enhanced my stay (Thank you for the yummy chocolate pastries and eye masks). The hotel’s facilities, location, and overall atmosphere were flawless, truly embodying luxury and comfort.  The only minor downside was the mattress, which was a bit softer than I prefer. However, this didn’t detract from the amazing experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Seoul!   Also no worries about restaurants there, many restaurants you can see nearby. The BBQ restaurant opposite the hotel is absolutely amazing! The two ladies there are incredibly friendly and especially attentive to children. The Korean beef and pork are truly delicious, and the kimchi, along with the slightly spicy mushroom soup, is fantastic. It’s even better than the Michelin one-star BBQ beef restaurant I visited the next day in Gangnam.

AAnonymous UserThe room was very comfortable, and the location was excellent – right outside the Chinese Embassy. Plus, there were free snacks during check-in! The staff were really helpful with luggage and arranging taxis. Just a heads-up: avoid the convenience store downstairs; the staff there are incredibly rude and you can't eat inside. There are plenty of other options all over the street anyway!

YYqyqlinI would like to commend the majority of your staff for their polite and helpful demeanor. However, I had an unfortunate experience with the male staff who handled our check-in. Due to an oversight, we had accidentally booked a twin bedroom instead of a king bedroom. When he asked whether we had reserved a twin bed, we responded that it should have been a king bed, not realizing our mistake. At this point, the staff appeared impatient and spoke to us in a rather abrupt manner, stating, “We don’t have rooms with king’s bed now. That’s why I’m asking you.” While I appreciate his intention to clarify our booking and prevent misunderstandings, I felt that his tone and attitude were unnecessarily stern and made us feel uncomfortable. I hope that in the future, staff interactions can be handled with greater patience and empathy, especially in situations where guests may have made honest mistakes.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel employee was very thoughtful and provided us with free room upgrade and a slice of cake because of our wedding anniversary. That was very considerate and nice gesture. Also warm water in the pool was a big bonus. However, there are few things I would like to point out which are important for us as a family traveling with a kid: 1) children are not allowed to play screen golf. That was upsetting since we never had such issue at other hotels. Also you need to reserve time slot first, which doesn’t work for people who came to Seoul for tourism or leisure purposes. 2) children are only allowed to enter pool until 17:00. That’s extremely strange since many people check in after 15:00 and there would be no time to swim at all in that case. Also people mainly prefer to do shopping and sightseeing and relax at pool when they return in the evening. So this restriction is very strange for us. In that case hotel needs to either notify the guests during reservation or turn it into “adults only” hotel. 3) hotel has a very strict check in check out rules: 15:00 check in and 11:00 check out, not 30 min later/earlier; while standard international check in is 14:00 and check out 12:00. Usually hotels especially 5 stars hotels are very flexible and let guests check in 1-2h earlier if the guests already arrived and would allow them check out 30min-1h later without any issue. 4) Gym and pool close at 21:30. That’s very early compare to other hotels, where facilities usually work until 23:00 and sometimes even 24h. 5) Gym, sauna and pool are not exclusive to the hotel guests only. Anybody with paid membership can enter, which makes it crowded and inconvenient for hotel guests, especially on holidays and weekends. Also you need to take 2 different lifts and walk by the bridge to get there (basically it’s not the same building as hotel) I would say it’s not a 5 star hotel, but more like a premium residence, that is suitable for a long term stay without children.

GGuest UserThe breakfast was really varied and delicious, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's super convenient for getting around since the subway station is right nearby. It's only two stops to Myeongdong and three stops to Shinsegae Department Store. The family room, in particular, was a highlight – our kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave!

GgobacktonovemberThe hotel is very nice + very newly designed hotel. Pros: -nearby the sinsa station/area (but required around 5-7 minutes walk there) -Big and cozy bed for two people -Toilet with good warm water -Good amenities -Good space for 2 luggages to fit (big ones) -Has a very nice cafe on the rooftop to see seoul city -Able to see seoul towel from our room! What to improve/Take note: -the staff service at night can’t really speak english so sometimes I don’t understand what they say abiutbthe deposit when checking in. -No microwave/only fridge available -The walkway is actually on the slope/hills (the picture doesn’t show that much that the hotel is on the hill so anyone who has big luggages or on snow time it is recommended to book an uber on the winter time)

YYan-ZhengThis hotel is super close to Seoul Station, accessible from either Exit 1 or 7 (see picture 4). We had an overnight layover before catching the KTX, so staying here was incredibly convenient. You can even walk here along the Seoullo 7017 Skygarden. Plus, there's Lotte Outlets and a supermarket nearby for some shopping. We booked a family twin room with a queen bed (1.5m) and a single bed (1.1m), perfect for three people, and the space was just right. Check-out is at 12 PM, and at around 700 [currency, presumably KRW], it's really good value for money. The service was good, though we didn't get a chance to use any other facilities!

AAnonymous UserThe two-meter bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially want to commend the front desk staff for their teamwork and responsiveness during my stay. As a foreign visitor, I lost my belongings in an Uber, and all the front desk employees, at different times, proactively provided a lot of help. This included making phone calls, sending emails, and reporting the loss on websites. They also made sure to leave notes for colleagues when their shifts ended, ensuring a seamless handover. Thanks to their efforts, we successfully recovered my items before leaving Korea. I'm incredibly grateful; what an amazing service team!
