"The hotel is awesome. The front desk staff Salsa is very warmth and friendly, she is definitely an asset to the company, can see that she loves her job very well as her interaction with me makes me feel that. The 2 bedroom suites is excellent, very clean and comfy, the view is nice, the breakfast is fantastic. The location is good, just next to the mall, and just walking distance to the local snack market where I always buy lots of snacks. Overall, I’ll be back again to stay here if I visit Batam again"

"Very good for staycation. Quiet, Good View, Fresh Air and Swimming pool accessible, Near to the Tiger beach and the hotel provide shuttle service to there, Rooms are clean but the floor is dusty.  Overall, it was a good choice and satisfied though it’s a bit far from the city."

"Very nice hotel with swimming pool at level. There's also a spa called Eska Very friendly and nice staffs. They also provide free shuttle service to Grand Batam mall. But if you can't meet their timing just use Grab app and it costs around 50k ruppiah"

"Nice location for a relaxing holiday. A bit disappointed we were not able to do the activities due to the bad weather on CNY and the next day the jet skis were broken so all we could do was the atv. Pool table at the reception was also broken. Breakfast was good, rooms are large and clean. We had two rooms and in both rooms the safe deposit boxes were locked so we had to call to get these opened. The balcony was wet as the roofs were leaking and the chairs would be dripped on from the leaky roof. The gym is in another resort so you had to take a buggy to go there and it was probably similar to the one that Arnold Schwarzenegger used when training for the Mr Universe competition as it looked that old, in my opinion it is non functional. The beach volleyball was also not really useable as the beach is very narrow and steep, one side of the net is just a few inches above the sand, it is just there to tick a box."

"A very good It was a decent place for a staycation. the room was neat and clean, and the facilities were good as well. There was a wide variety of options at the breakfast area, although one small downside for me was that many of the good dishes were cooked with beef (which I’m allergic to). Overall, the experience was amazing. The hotel basically has everything you need, and for a one-night stay, the price is very affordable. I paid around RM250 (about SGD 85) for a night. I would highly recommend this place to couples and families who are travelling on a budget."

"So happy to meet Saddan and his wonderful team for the warm welcome at Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay 🤍✨ We also had the pleasure of meeting Executive Sous Chef Gantar Arifin, who was so friendly and professional, making sure we truly enjoyed our breakfast this morning. Intern Yusuf, a friendly student learning the job of F&B also took a picture with us.  Indeed, Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay delivers genuine 5-star service. 🌟 Will definitely choose to stay here again on our next Batam trip! So glad to have met Mr. Lie Ming Sien, Director of Operations, who thoughtfully arranged our departure with such ease and comfort. Truly grateful for the superb service and warm hospitality — it made our trip even more memorable!"

"Good points. All of the staff are extremely helpful. The cleaners are excellent. The pool view is lovely. The room is good, the bed is big and very comfortable. The hairdresser is absolutely amazing. Gym is very good - lots of variety of exercises. Bad points Food is not good: ordered vegetarian stir fry and specifically stated no chicken as allergic; it arrived with chicken underneath the vegetables! Husband ordered battered prawns which came unpeeled, then battered, so totally inedible. Wouldn’t let me put the drinks on the room (even though they did it a few days earlier), then refused to let me leave until the bill was paid. I had no money with me. So had to wait until they managed to contact my husband to come and pay. Spa - the facial was the most painful experience I’ve had in a spa. My face was literally pulled and scrubbed within an inch of its life. The actual face mask was scrubbed off. My face looked 10 years older rather than younger. Depends where your room is, depends if you hear the 5 o’clock Mosque calling. The gym was like a sauna - too hot to do any real cardio work - but that’s my personal preference."

"The owner said Tv had only netflix and youtube. And no Netflix account. But when i adjust the antenna. There's normal tv channel available. She wont entertain calls. Only whatsapp test. Hate this type of people"

"The location is great, close to the beach, and the price is right. This time it was a business trip. I chose the apartment for half a day because of its location and cost-effectiveness. It is very fast to get to other places in Batam. The key is that the ferry terminal is next door, which is very convenient to Singapore."
