The Hotel Resonance Taipei is a really stylish hotel. It's very new and in a fantastic location – super easy to get to, just a 2-minute walk left from Exit 3 of Shandao Temple MRT Station. The room layout is well-designed, with a separate shower and bathtub, and a dedicated toilet area. The soundproofing is excellent, and the bedding is very comfortable. A major bonus is the self-service laundry room, which is a lifesaver for washing clothes during a summer trip. The washing machines even come with detergent, and the dryer is powerful, getting clothes dry quickly. Just a heads-up though, the laundry room closes at 10 PM. I noticed when booking that the hotel breakfast was just a simple Starbucks meal, so I didn't opt for the breakfast package. There are plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, and local breakfast spots nearby, so finding food in the morning was absolutely no problem. All in all, I definitely recommend Hotel Resonance Taipei!

The view was fantastic, with a clear sight of Taipei 101 in the distance. The room had a convenient table, perfect for a quick bite or a drink. Since it was an anniversary celebration, the hotel kindly provided a bottle of champagne, which really set a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all polite and had excellent service. And the breakfast was really good too! ♡

This was the best night I spent in Taiwan, even though it wasn't the most expensive. I really loved Eslite's design – the wood and warm tones gave it a homey feel. It truly felt like sleeping in my own bed, very cozy and secure. The service was a little bit off, though. They asked for a 2000 RMB deposit? I can't remember if it was RMB or NTD, but either way, it felt a bit like they didn't trust their guests. There were a few other minor service issues, but they were all resolved in the end. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Taipei. However, getting to Taipei 101 wasn't as close as I thought… I took a taxi there and walked back, which took almost 20 minutes. It was a bit tiring.

Impeccable Welcome Service: The front desk service is attentive and seamless. Upon being seated, guests are immediately presented with a ceremonial special hibiscus welcome tea and hot towels.

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation nearby, making it easy to get around. There are also many local specialty food stalls and restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel even has a self-service laundry room, which is a great bonus. If I come to Taiwan again, I'll probably stay here.

The hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

This is probably the most cost-effective hotel in Taipei. The room size is decent, but it's definitely showing its age. There was a stale, sweaty smell in both the room and the hallway. The executive lounge service was excellent, no complaints there. However, the front desk service on the first floor was absolutely terrible. An elderly lady couldn't hear what the staff member was saying, and the short-haired staff member repeated herself several times with extreme impatience, then threw things and rolled her eyes, which was quite disgusting. There were a lot of Japanese guests, and it was very noisy at night. The low service score is due to the front desk; the F&B and the executive lounge staff were all very professional.

Excellent! Absolutely fantastic, truly excellent! I can't recommend it enough. A genuinely wonderful experience, over and over again. Simply outstanding, consistently great. We recently stayed at the Dinosaur Kingdom Family Room and transferred to a Premier Twin Room the following day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The staff were consistently kind, helpful, and accommodating, which we truly appreciated. We especially enjoyed the family room—it was thoughtfully designed and perfect for traveling with a young child. I had initially planned for a two-night stay in this room, but unfortunately, renovations were scheduled to begin the following day. This was a bit disappointing, as it made our time there feel quite short, especially with other activities already planned during our trip. In comparison to other five-star hotels we’ve stayed in, I did find the lack of flexibility with early check-in a bit surprising, particularly for the themed room. We had hoped to settle in earlier, and similarly, the following day’s transfer to the Premier room was not available early as it was fully booked. While this was different from what I’m used to, I do understand that this may be part of their standard protocol. On a positive note, we loved the buffet, and the rooms were very comfortable. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch, and the playroom area was excellent—clearly designed with families in mind. It was also lovely to see the hotel organizing activities for children. During our stay, there was a special event (like a children’s appreciation day?), where me and my baby were able to participate in arts and crafts and even received small prizes, which made the experience extra memorable. The swimming pool was decent, though not very large, and the water was quite cold, so we ended up enjoying the bathtub instead. One area for improvement would be cleanliness. We noticed visible dust in the room, which was concerning—especially since the room is designed for small children, and for someone like me who is diagnosed with allergies to multiple types of dust mites. I did raise this with Lara at the lobby, who kindly apologized and mentioned she would inform housekeeping. However, upon transferring rooms the next day, I still noticed dust in certain areas, which made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning. Separately, I also observed that some toiletries (such as conditioner and lotion) were nearly empty upon arrival, suggesting they may not have been checked or replenished prior to our stay. Despite these points, we genuinely had a pleasant experience overall and would consider returning. I’m also excited and curious to see what the next theme for the family rooms will be after the renovations.

Taipei Garden Hotel is very good hotel clean and good service. If you come from Taoyuan International Airport you can use rapid train to Taipei Main Station (purple one). Then take Taxi to the hotel is very convenient. The cost only about 120TWD it’s depend on the traffic.The hotel a bit far from MRT station the nearest is Xiaonanmen and can walk to Ximending. Across the street they have Carrefour , McDonald, Starbucks. It’s quite convenient hotel.
