This was a 'lie-flat' vacation with the kids. I booked a 3-day, 2-night king-bed package during the 618 sale and upon arrival, we were upgraded to an 88-square-meter room. It had a garden view, which was actually nice because we couldn't see the construction of the Lijing project. Anyway, my little one spent every day either at the kids' club or in the pool, so whether it had a sea view or not made little difference. Mom seized the opportunity to pop over to the adjacent Hainan Duty-Free. The InterContinental has its own shortcut through the construction site to the duty-free shop, which is super convenient, and there's a 10% discount on regular-priced clothes and such, which is pretty good and saves a bit of money. The hotel has daily activities you can join; just book the starred ones a day in advance. The kids had a blast every day, busy from morning till night. In the evening, there were more activities and an iron flower performance. After completing the games and checking in, they even got gifts! With Dad's help, they collected a pile of toys, which made them so happy! Our butler, Bobby, was available for any questions, and it was easy to get fresh towels after swimming or grab slippers. We stayed on the second floor, and the auntie who served us was always smiling and very nice – big praise for her!

Banyan Tree Sanya, a hidden gem nestled in Luhuitou Bay. At night, I enjoyed a private soak in the courtyard's hot spring, accompanied by starlight, the gentle sway of palm trees, and the sound of the ocean. The warm water washed away the day's fatigue, and the evening breeze soothed my mind. No need to dwell on worldly worries; just gaze at the stars, listen to the waves, and find a rare sense of tranquility.

This is my second time in Haitang Bay and fourth time in Sanya, and the Grand Hyatt is definitely number one on my personal ranking. 1️⃣ Our butler, Diana, added me on WeChat the night before I left for Sanya and gave me all the information about the Grand Hyatt. Check-in was seamless, and because I had all the hotel info beforehand, taking the kids to eat, swim, and enjoy the sea was super easy. 2️⃣ On the second day of our stay, my child took a call on their smartwatch by the pool and casually left it on a lounge chair. We didn't realize until we got back to the room. I immediately contacted Diana, our butler, who promptly found the watch and personally delivered it to our room. My child's sadness turned to joy, and I can't express my gratitude enough. 3️⃣ The hotel breakfast is amazing! The Zao Po Cu rice noodles are a must-try – truly a hotel specialty. There's an incredible variety of fruits, over a dozen kinds, which our family from the north absolutely loved. The breakfast ice cream is high quality, and the pastries are both beautiful and delicious. All the juices are freshly squeezed, and there are also over a dozen toppings for yogurt and Qingbuliang. Plus, children under 12 eat breakfast for free! High quality and great value – the Grand Hyatt really knows what it's doing. 4️⃣ The hotel and our butler Diana gifted us wine, fruit, and coconuts, catering to both adults and children. Very thoughtful. 5️⃣ The hotel staff are exceptionally well-trained. Every employee we encountered greeted us proactively, and even when asking for directions, we received detailed and friendly assistance. 6️⃣ The children's activities are also excellent, at least for my 6-year-old daughter. She didn't miss a single morning activity, and the outdoor lawn activities were very engaging. In the evening, she saw iron flower performance and fire pots for the first time and absolutely loved them. 7️⃣ The family pool has changing rooms, which is fantastic! We would finish the children's activities and go straight to these changing rooms to change into our swimsuits, then head either to the sea or the pool, without having to go back and forth to our room. After playing by the sea, we'd use the changing room to shower, change into clean clothes, and then go for a buffet dinner – perfect. Our butler, Diana, consistently monitored our stay and promptly responded to and resolved any issues we had. A huge thumbs up! 👍 Looking back, I feel like our stay at the Grand Hyatt was too short. I wish I had shortened our time at the subsequent hotel and stayed longer here. Next time I'm in Sanya, it'll be straight to the Grand Hyatt.

I booked a 'Listening to the Sea' suite at the Sanya EDITION and overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay. The room was incredibly spacious, with comfortable divisions for the living room, bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom. The wooden decor also gave it a lovely resort feel, making for a very relaxing stay. Upon check-in, the welcome amenities were thoughtfully prepared, including fruit, champagne, and a handwritten welcome card. It felt quite special when I first entered the room. A special thanks to Cooper, who provided consistently patient service throughout my stay, responded promptly to my questions, and meticulously arranged many details. My dining experience was also excellent. The breakfast at the Pǔ restaurant offered a wide variety of options and the quality was consistently good. I also enjoyed the buffet hotpot at Pǔ in the evening; both the ingredients and taste were great. Even the in-room dining food exceeded my expectations. Overall, I was quite pleased with both the dining and accommodation. In summary, I had a very comfortable stay. The room, service, dining, and resort atmosphere were all top-notch. It definitely deserves a five-star rating.

This was my first time staying at Atlantis Sanya, and the main reason for our visit was to celebrate my husband's birthday. I was drawn to the Atlantis' activities and facilities while searching for hotels in Sanya on Trip.com. Since I was busy with work, I didn't have much time to plan the itinerary. Luckily, after booking the hotel, I contacted them via email, and they kindly agreed to arrange a birthday cake to surprise my husband on his special day. Atlantis also offers a very thoughtful service. I had pre-purchased tickets for the beluga underwater activity and the dolphin interaction program separately through their WeChat mini-program. Soon after, I received a call from an Atlantis staff member informing me that there was a package deal that included both activities at a significantly lower price. In the end, they helped me cancel my previous orders and process a refund so I could repurchase the package. I wholeheartedly recommend the beluga underwater activity. Andy and Tina, the star belugas, are gentle and a little playful. They interacted with us for a full 30 minutes. Opportunities to touch belugas are rare in a lifetime, and being able to kiss them too made the ticket price absolutely worth it! The Ossiano underwater restaurant is also worth a try! As it was my husband's birthday dinner, we opted for a specific set menu. We enjoyed our meal right next to the large fish tank, watching the fish swim by. The price of their set menu is comparable to 'Omakase' in Hong Kong. If you have any dietary restrictions, they are happy to accommodate changes to the ingredients. Ossiano's ambiance, service, food quality, and portion sizes were all excellent. Both of us found every dish delicious, and at the end, the waiter thoughtfully brought us hot tea to help us digest. Finally, I'd like to extend a special thank you to Ariel, our dedicated Atlantis hotel staff member. Throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay, she thoughtfully messaged us to see if we had any special needs. When she learned it was for my husband's birthday, she specifically arranged balloons and decorations, and even sent fruit and a birthday cake. These past few days, she was like a little assistant, quietly taking care of everything behind the scenes for me. She also helped me communicate with the restaurant and answered all my questions. I really appreciate all her help these past few days. 💕 If you're planning a trip to Sanya, Atlantis is truly an excellent choice. The price might not be cheap, but the room rate includes daily unlimited access to the aquarium and one daily entry to Aquaventure Waterpark per person. The cost of these tickets alone makes it a great value, whether you're a couple or a family with children!

Taking advantage of my recent leave, I brought my parents and child to Hainan and chose the Sheraton Yalong Bay Resort for a few days' stay. It was then I realized that the best of seaside vacations, a perfect blend of mountains and sea, is hidden right here within this resort. The hotel boasts an exclusive, prime beachfront location in Yalong Bay, surrounded by 100,000 square meters of lush tropical gardens. Towering coconut trees, blooming frangipani and flamboyant trees line the paths, while winding streams encircle pavilions and reflecting pools mirror the sky. Every few steps reveal a new floral display, and every ten steps, a breathtaking view of mountains and sea, creating a harmonious blend of Nanyang elegance and island wilderness. From the airy lobby, the vast expanse of turquoise sea stretches out before you, with a gentle breeze carrying a faint scent of coconut. All the dust and fatigue from the long journey instantly dissipate upon entering. A leisurely three-minute stroll through the gardens leads directly to the hotel's private, long stretch of silvery beach. The white sand is as fine as silk, and the clear, pristine nearshore waters resemble琉璃 (a type of ancient Chinese glazed pottery, here meaning crystal-clear glass). The gentle lapping of waves and the soft, reef-free waters make it ideal for family leisure. My parents could comfortably sit on rattan chairs under the coconut trees, gazing at the distant mountains and ocean, enjoying the cool breeze. The children, barefoot, chased waves and collected shells in the shallows. The resort also features five uniquely designed swimming pools, with dedicated shallow areas for children to play and splash to their hearts' content, worry-free. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, and the sea-view balconies offer a panoramic triple treat of coconut groves, sandy beaches, and the distant ocean. Leaning against the railing, I quietly awaited the sunset, watching the golden light melt into the sea, painting the entire horizon with a gentle glow. The service throughout the hotel was warm and attentive, with thoughtfulness hidden in every detail. The three meals offered a delightful array of mountain and sea flavors, with meticulous care taken morning, noon, and night. There's no need to venture far to find scenic beauty; within the resort, you can embrace all the poetic charm of the island – the coconut breeze, the sunset, and the sound of the tides. The most precious aspect of this trip was being in the gentle embrace of the Sheraton's mountains and sea. There was no need to rush to distant places; the refreshing breeze was ever-present, my elders were relaxed and content, and my child was joyful and free. Three generations spent precious time together, enjoying the beautiful seascape and the perfect family bliss. A bay of turquoise water, a garden full of lush greenery, a wonderful stay, and warm hospitality – all the myriad joys of this trip were made possible by the Sheraton Yalong Bay Resort.

The room's balcony offered a sea view, which was a pleasant surprise, and you could hear the sound of the waves. The twin beds were also perfect; my daughter and I had plenty of space. As soon as we checked in, we added the housekeeper, Tudou (Potato), on WeChat. He was incredibly responsible, checking in daily to see if we needed anything and always answering our questions – really great! While swimming isn't allowed in Haitang Bay, the hotel has sectioned off a small area where you can go into the water. It was quite hot and sunny during our stay, so we only went swimming or to the beach in the evenings. Overall, it was a good experience. I hope to visit the seaside in winter sometime; it's always so hot when I come!

Our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Sanya Yalong Bay, specifically in a full sea-view room, far exceeded our expectations – we were absolutely delighted, giving it a 12 out of 10! The room offered expansive views; from the balcony, we could gaze at the endless ocean and also admire the hotel's beautifully tiered pool landscape. It was a double treat for the eyes. The room itself was spacious, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent. The food was delicious too, and my friend and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing vacation here. A special thank you goes to our butler, Xiao Die. Her service was perfectly balanced – never intrusive, yet incredibly prompt and efficient whenever we needed anything. From our initial communication to all our inquiries during the stay, she patiently and meticulously helped coordinate everything. She thoughtfully arranged a room that perfectly met our group's needs and consistently provided excellent solutions when we required assistance. Her attentiveness and patience truly put a perfect finishing touch on our Sanya trip. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and it's very convenient to access both the beach and the pools. The service atmosphere was just right, balancing privacy with thoughtfulness, making our entire stay comfortable and at ease. Looking out at the pools and sea view in our leisure time, with the sea breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. This trip left us with wonderful memories; it was an impeccable stay, and we are very much looking forward to returning and choosing the Ritz-Carlton again.

Five-star review for Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort World! I especially want to commend our butler, Coral. Before our trip, I had a lot of little questions, from check-in details to dining options nearby, and she answered every single one quickly and clearly. It was like having a walking encyclopedia! Seeing that we had kids, she thoughtfully sent up a seasonal fruit platter, which was wonderfully sweet and refreshing. Throughout our stay, whenever we had a request, whether it was for two extra bottles of water or inquiring about pool hours, she'd respond and resolve it within minutes. She truly delivered on every request. We booked a garden-view room for two nights, and the window overlooked lush tropical greenery – so peaceful and beautiful. The hotel's best asset is its location. Just through the garden, you're on the beach. It only takes two or three minutes to walk there with the kids to dig in the sand and play in the waves, making early morning and evening beach trips super convenient. The family activities were incredibly diverse, from bubble parties to DIY crafts, with multiple different events each day. Our kids never wanted to leave! Overall, the service is thoughtful, the location is excellent, and it's very family-friendly. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we're in Sanya.

My stay at Wanda Vista Sanya Haitang Bay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's tropical gardens are serene and elegant, offering direct oceanfront views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and very convenient for getting to the duty-free shop. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Ella was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and attentive, quickly resolving all my needs. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the vacation experience was outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!
