"We were very satisfied with the room. A huge thank you to our hotel butler, Li Shiping (Xiao Li), who was incredibly patient, meticulous, and attentive in helping us with numerous issues during our stay. For example, he assisted with supplies and meals for our children and even helped us with a late check-out due to a flight delay. Xiao Li also diligently resolved many other small details that came up during our stay. We were also lucky enough to get an upgrade to a sea-view room! The beach was just a 3-minute walk away, and there was a pool right downstairs where our kids had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave. It was a very happy and enjoyable vacation at this hotel."

"The villa is beautiful and the pool water is very clean. The hotel is right next to the beach, so you can walk over and dip your toes in the water. The rooms are large and plentiful, and I got a bit disoriented when I first checked in. Unlike other standalone villa hotels I've stayed at, this one doesn't have a butler service; you need to call the front desk for any requests. It also felt like the hotel was understaffed. We checked in during peak hours, and the front desk staff looked very tired and overwhelmed. They didn't even guide guests queuing up in an orderly fashion. The experience in this regard was quite poor compared to the Hilton we stayed at two days ago. If you're staying in a villa, you'll need to bring your own mosquito repellent. Because the rooms are so large and there's a lot of greenery, even electric mosquito coils were largely ineffective. I didn't see any mosquito traps or similar facilities outside either. We were almost carried away by Sanya's mosquitoes!"

"After comparing many hotels, I finally chose this one, and my stay completely exceeded expectations. The hotel has a grand Chinese-style design, and the public area's lagoon-style pool is also beautiful. The staff were attentive and warm; from the moment we got out of the car until we checked in and got to our room, they proactively guided and assisted us, and they were very responsive to our needs. The hotel's location is great, right outside is a commercial street, making dining and shopping convenient. Although it's not a beachfront hotel, it's very close to the sea, just a short walk away. It's my top choice for a vacation, and I've saved it for my next visit!"

Sscarlett0527Stayed for two nights. First, I want to commend Kaylee, our butler. Her service was excellent, very proactive, and responsive. The concierge service was great. They were there to open the door and help with luggage as soon as we parked. We were offered welcome leis, but they weren't available when we got out of the car. The lobby didn't have air conditioning and was a bit warm, but it was well-ventilated. Check-in was quite fast, and they provided detailed information. The elevator had AC and was very cool, and our luggage was delivered to the room quickly. The hallway to the room was too long and outdoors, making it quite hot. However, it looked beautiful once the sun set. The family room had one king-size bed and one single bed. The mattresses were good, no backaches. The AC worked well and kept the room cool. The shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature. Bottled water was replenished promptly and generously. Room 833 offered a partial sea view and a partial view of the duty-free shop and a new hotel that's still under construction. It wasn't noisy, and the duty-free shop lights looked lovely at night. The only **bug** was the bathtub on the balcony, which made it impossible to take a bath. The room had no musty smell and didn't feel old. There was a huge table, convenient for dining. We received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the passionfruit was absolutely delicious. A complimentary minibar was provided, with drinks and snacks. The family pool was a bit basic, without a water playground, but it had free floats and basketballs. There were plenty of lifeguards who helped inflate the floats. There was a shuttle bus to the beach, and the driver was very friendly and chatty. The beach had lounge chairs, and the sand crab catching activity was excellent and engaging. There wasn't much hawking on the beach, which contributed to a great vacation vibe. Free sand-digging tools were available at the beach. The kids' club was next to the B1 breakfast restaurant, with activities suitable for younger children. Tree climbing was a lot of fun and came with small prizes. The bubble activities were a hit with all the kids. You could reach the duty-free shop by crossing the road through a small gate, which closed at 10 PM. We weren't bitten by mosquitoes at all during our stay, which indicates good pest control – a definite plus. Breakfast was a bit simple; the variety could be improved. We didn't have to wait for a table even when arriving after 10 AM, and the food was replenished promptly. The Xinglong coffee was good. Eating outdoors was slightly warm but offered views of fish and snorkeling. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was delicious, delicious, delicious! The hotpot at the Western restaurant was decent, and the ambiance was good. There were plenty of takeout options nearby, but you had to pick them up from the takeout cabinet yourself. The 'Qingbuliang' (Hainanese dessert soup) from room service was good. It's a shame we didn't go snorkeling. We'll have to come back next time.

The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

GGuest UserThis is my second time at the Grand Hyatt! This time we booked a family room, and it was huge! While the decor might be a bit dated, it's definitely very well-maintained. The air conditioning works great, and everything was comfortable. The hotel gardens are lovely with lots of greenery. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Our butler, Dora, provided excellent and attentive service, always quick to respond to our requests! The beach is a little walk from the hotel, past the pool. You can take a hotel buggy or enjoy a pleasant stroll. The evening sea breeze is also very refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend it!

CCandice MaFull marks for The Sanya EDITION, highly recommended! First and foremost, a special thank you to Mia for preparing the dessert – it was absolutely delicious, my kids loved it. When I first booked, I was mainly drawn to the hotel's facilities, but I never expected the service experience to exceed my expectations so much. From the shuttle service and front desk concierge to housekeeping and the pool/beach staff, everyone was warm and attentive. The shuttle driver was very kind, and the concierge staff proactively and thoroughly introduced all the hotel's services. Housekeeping was incredibly detailed, and the pool and beach staff were very responsive. There were constant delightful surprises during our stay. In the afternoon, there was even free pizza to enjoy. The water sports staff, considering my child's height, specially helped us book a coconut picking experience, which was novel and fun to pick coconuts ourselves. The staff at the Kids' Club were gentle and patient, and the activities there were diverse and abundant, keeping my child happily entertained. The chef at the Jin Restaurant BBQ area was very enthusiastic and even thoughtfully delivered pasta to our table; the attention to detail was exceptional. During check-in, the front desk staff thoughtfully noticed it was our tenth wedding anniversary and specially arranged a surprise decoration in our room, which was incredibly heartwarming. Even though we stayed in a basic room type, the overall experience was fantastic. Thanks again to Mia for her thoughtful arrangements throughout our stay. We will definitely choose this place again next time we come to Sanya!

GGuest UserGuest Manager Xu provided absolutely excellent service! This is by far the best room I've stayed in Sanya. Late at night, when I wanted some congee, they even drove to deliver complimentary congee and pickles! The breakfast was also very rich and varied! The chicken feet were especially delicious; I ate four of them! The room attendants were wonderful; the young women who cleaned our room were so energetic and always smiling, which made my family and me feel very comfortable! The staff member who drove us and helped with luggage was also fantastic, actively helping my parents and me move our suitcases from the room to the car! Their attitude was truly excellent! I would love to stay at this hotel again next time.

Although the hotel is older, it doesn't detract from its quality as a resort hotel. The front desk staff were helpful and patient during check-in. I want to give a special shout-out to our butler, Tudou. Every morning and evening during our stay, he would proactively greet us. He also showed great care for our experience, asking if we needed any room supplies replenished and about our preferred cleaning times. I've stayed at many international five-star hotels, and I truly commend Butler Tudou; his service awareness is truly international five-star standard. The hotel offers many free children's activities, including pet feeding, a children's zip-line challenge, a park train, and children's DIY crafts.

We booked the 'Stargaze Babies' room, and for families with two kids, it's an absolute no-brainer! 🥳 The layout truly understands parents traveling with children! One king bed + one bunk bed. The room isn't huge, but it's fully equipped with everything you need. Kids' amenities and thoughtful details are all in place, making for a very comfortable stay. In the evening, we discovered a new activity – we went to the pool at the adjacent Autograph Collection hotel. The evening breeze combined with the sound of the waves created such a wonderful ambiance. It was super photogenic! 📸 We listened to the waves, watched the live performance, and observed the kids playing in the water – it truly felt like a perfect vacation. I have to specially praise the incredibly thoughtful and amazing service at JW Marriott!! Our flight was scheduled for the evening of the second day. We originally requested a late check-out until 3 PM. At noon, the hotel proactively contacted us. Because there were guests checking in later, they thoughtfully asked if we'd be open to switching to a standard room type. They then extended our check-out to 5 PM for free! 😭 This was truly so considerate! It didn't inconvenience the next guests, and it gave us ample time to rest, shower the kids, and get ready. Staying during the off-season really brought so many pleasant surprises! In the afternoon, the kids were full of energy again. They had a blast playing in the Marriott pool until 4 PM. Water volleyball was their favorite, and they absolutely didn't want to leave. By 5 PM, we were packed and ready, concluding our trip perfectly as we took a taxi to the airport ✈️. The entire experience was seamless, and Marriott's service really won us over. For families with two kids visiting Sanya, this Dadonghai location is definitely worth it! #SanyaFamilyTrip

What truly amazed me was the consistently high-quality service from everyone, from the front desk, concierge, and housekeeping to the F&B departments. Upon arrival for check-in, the staff were efficient and gentle, making the entire process smooth and without unnecessary delays, so there was no long waiting time. During the check-in, they meticulously explained the hotel's guest privileges, recreational activities within the resort, pool and beach opening hours, and tips for exploring the surrounding area. GGuest UserThe mangrove forest is highly recommended this season. 1. The hotel's public areas are amazing – it's an elegant and culturally rich hotel. From the moment you step out of the car, you feel like your vacation has begun. 2. Although the rooms aren't the newest, the low-rise ocean view is incredibly comfortable. 3. This season, the hotel's fruit trees are laden with fruit, including dragon fruit, coconuts, longans, star fruit, and wax apples (I missed the lychees and mangoes). It's a real treasure and perfect for kids to explore. 4. The beach is truly a vacation paradise. The sand in Yalong Bay is still very fine, and the hotel's beachfront location is excellent. The sea breeze keeps it from being too hot. The only downside was a stretch of white coral when entering the sea, which was quite rough on the feet, but the water was so blue, and surfing was a lot of fun. The loungers by the shore are also very comfortable; you can enjoy coconut water or a drink while listening to the sea.
