Shanghai Disneyland is designed around a central hub-and-spoke layout. After entering through Mickey Avenue, visitors arrive at the Gardens of Imagination, where the iconic Enchanted Storybook Castle stands as the heart of the park.

From this central area, eight themed lands spread out in different directions:

  • Mickey Avenue – The entrance street filled with shops, dining, and character experiences
  • Gardens of Imagination – The central hub and parade viewing area
  • Fantasyland – A fairy-tale world featuring classic Disney attractions
  • Adventure Isle – A jungle-themed area full of exploration
  • Treasure Cove – A pirate adventure land inspired by the ocean
  • Tomorrowland – A futuristic area with high-speed attractions
  • Toy Story Land – A colorful Pixar-themed area for families
  • Zootopia – The newest land featuring attractions based on the popular movie

Because most areas connect through the castle hub, checking the Shanghai Disneyland park map before arrival can help you create a more efficient route instead of walking back and forth across the park.

It's definitely worth a visit. We were there during high season, with queues of over 100 minutes, but we managed to do everything we wanted - ride 4 rides, see all the shows and the fireworks display. I personally felt like I was back in my childhood, and it was worth it!
