Shanghai Disneyland is designed around a central hub-and-spoke layout. After entering through Mickey Avenue, visitors arrive at the Gardens of Imagination, where the iconic Enchanted Storybook Castle stands as the heart of the park.

From this central area, eight themed lands spread out in different directions:

  • Mickey Avenue – The entrance street filled with shops, dining, and character experiences
  • Gardens of Imagination – The central hub and parade viewing area
  • Fantasyland – A fairy-tale world featuring classic Disney attractions
  • Adventure Isle – A jungle-themed area full of exploration
  • Treasure Cove – A pirate adventure land inspired by the ocean
  • Tomorrowland – A futuristic area with high-speed attractions
  • Toy Story Land – A colorful Pixar-themed area for families
  • Zootopia – The newest land featuring attractions based on the popular movie

Because most areas connect through the castle hub, checking the Shanghai Disneyland park map before arrival can help you create a more efficient route instead of walking back and forth across the park.

If you arrive at 11:00, there won't be a line to enter, but there will be a long line for the rides.

I had an unforgettable day at Shanghai Disneyland! I stayed at Grand Kempinski Hotel and took a Didi to the park — easy and smooth. The park is beautiful, especially the exclusive Zootopia area. With Fast Passes, I rode almost everything: Zootopia, TRON, Soaring, Roaring Rapids, Pirates, Peter Pan, Voyage, Buzz Lightyear, and even Seven Dwarfs Mine Train via Single Rider. I also caught the daytime parade and the spectacular Ignite the Dream night show — the fireworks were breathtaking! 🎆 Tips: bring a raincoat for Roaring Rapids, use the Disney app for wait times, and don't miss the pork ribs at Barbossa's Bounty. A big thank you to Trip.com for making everything so easy — from hotel booking to tickets and Fast Passes. Your service was flawless. I highly recommend Trip.com to anyone visiting Disney or China! This day will stay with me forever. Shanghai Disneyland is a must-visit! 🏰✨ — Happy traveler from Russia

Disneyland was so much fun! We went on more than ten rides. Because it was so crowded, we had to pay 2000 yen to ride Beauty and the Beast. Big Thunder Mountain was also a great experience. The Mickey Symphony 5D theater and It's a Small World were full of surprises. The nighttime light parade and fireworks were spectacular, and there was even a drone show at the end! A truly wonderful family memory ❤️

I'm glad it worked properly! I made a reservation to visit the park using the official app. Being able to read English will make the process much smoother.
