Dalian Hotels with Bars

I first stayed at this B&B last May, and I loved the great service, excellent location, and especially the room design with its natural wood furniture style! So, when I had vacation time again this year, I came straight back. My main reason for visiting Dalian is always to see the giant pandas at Dalian Forest Zoo. Staying here near Xinghai Square is perfect; a taxi ride there costs less than 10 yuan and takes under 5 minutes. It's also right by the sea and in a central area, which makes everything super convenient and satisfying. Today I'm leaving Dalian, and the guy at the front desk was so kind; he gave us a complimentary afternoon tea set from their sister branch, Jin Se, across the street. It's a small gesture, but it means a lot. The wind in Dalian is so strong and it's really cold right now, so a warm afternoon tea at this moment is incredibly heartwarming. I'll definitely be back for the pandas, and I'll choose to stay here again!

The room was very clean and the environment was great. The greenery in the courtyard was absolutely stunning, and it was quite close to the beach. The service attitude was super good, and they even added an extra bed for us for free, plus there were all sorts of activities. We also enjoyed the 4000㎡ Xingqi Paradise outdoor playground: it's huge, and the weather these two days was just perfect, not too hot and not too cold.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel absolutely deserves a huge thumbs-up! **Amenities:** The pool on the third floor is great for kids! The depth ranges from 1.2m to 1.6m, so remember to bring swim rings. A special note: swim caps are mandatory to enter the pool. The sky garden on the fifth floor is stunning, especially at night. It's a fantastic spot for photos, with the ocean in front and a lit-up castle behind – unbelievably beautiful! Also, the kids' play area on the fifth floor is highly recommended. When booking through Trip.com, sometimes a package includes access to the 'Kids Castle,' otherwise you'll need to buy tickets (60 for one child, 88 for one adult and one child). My child absolutely loved it and couldn't get enough, and honestly, even the adults had a blast – it's that much fun! **Cleanliness:** The hotel is spotless and well-maintained. Even the nooks and crannies are clean! **Environment:** The environment is beyond words; every corner is incredibly photogenic. Whether you're traveling with family and kids, as a couple, or for any other reason, it's definitely a picture-perfect destination! **Service:** I have to dedicate a bit more space to this. We booked two rooms without breakfast. The manager, seeing we had a baby, specially offered us a complimentary breakfast. Moreover, any issues we had during our stay were resolved perfectly and immediately! The service absolutely deserves full marks!

My stay at the Four Seasons Dalian was absolutely perfect, and I especially want to commend the front desk staff. Upon arriving at the 41st-floor lobby, the check-in process was efficient and smooth. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, proactively explaining the hotel facilities, recommending optimal viewing times, and even thoughtfully suggesting an itinerary for Donggang based on my travel plans. I made a last-minute request to switch to a higher-floor sea-view room, and the front desk quickly accommodated it, communicating every detail with thoughtfulness and professionalism. The hotel lobby’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view of the Donggang seascape. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the amenities were complete. From the doormen and front desk to the room attendants, everyone provided excellent service, with thoughtful touches at every turn. The exceptional service from the front desk truly enhanced my entire trip. This will be my top choice when visiting Dalian, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Dalian Golden Pebble Beach for two nights over the Dragon Boat Festival, booking two rooms, and we were absolutely delighted! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. The front desk staff were all incredibly welcoming, especially Yi Yangqianxi, who even upgraded our rooms. We had a fantastic view of the ocean from our floor, which was such a mood booster. The hotel itself has a vibrant musical vibe, with a distinct rock 'n' roll flair 🤘. The rooms were great too. It's right by the beach, and Discoveryland is only a few hundred meters away, so the kids had an amazing time. The breakfast selection was quite diverse, with something to please everyone. In the evenings, we also visited the hotel's own bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks – it was fantastic! There was even a foreign resident singer who performed beautifully, making it a perfect spot to unwind. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

The hotel's bay is absolutely stunning and very private. You can tell the owner has an eye for aesthetics; even though the hotel is small, every corner is picturesque, and the observation deck on the slope is breathtaking. When the weather is good, the bay turns into a beautiful 'jelly sea,' making it well worth staying to experience this beach. On the downside: It feels like the hotel's cleaning and breakfast services are outsourced to women from Northeast China. The cleanliness is frankly mediocre, so I wouldn't recommend it for germaphobes. As for breakfast, I didn't eat the food, so I can't comment on that; I only had coffee. However, the restaurant service is problematic. In the mornings, the kitchen staff were loudly gossiping in Northeastern dialect with the waitresses, openly commenting on previous guests, which was very impolite. The service lacked smiles, and their gazes were somewhat stern. While eating breakfast, they would stare at you, completely lacking personal boundaries. When my mother went to get food, an older lady kept following her and staring, making her feel very uncomfortable. There were some pastries in a steamer, and when my mother opened it to see what they were, a waitress sarered, 'These are yellow croaker dumplings, can you even eat them?!' On a positive note, the front desk staff, the bar guy, the convenience store auntie, and the paddleboard instructor were all very nice and friendly. I hope the restaurant service quality improves, and that staff receive etiquette and professionalism training, as well as addressing the cleanliness issues. Thank you.

The hygiene was good. However, the service and facilities were quite disappointing. First, the facilities aren't just old; the air conditioning wasn't cooling the room at all, making it too hot. Plus, the AC was incredibly noisy. Even the closet light made a loud buzzing sound. This is the first time I've encountered a hotel like this. After the first day's cleaning, the water and tea bags weren't replenished, but they were brought to my room after I called and asked for them.

This is the first hotel I stayed in that has a hostel feel, rather than a cheap rental house or a fancy capsule hotel. The service and facilities are worth the price. Some of the shortcomings that are not as good as those of a star hotel (average sound insulation, light-transmitting curtains, slow draining of the floor drain) can be overcome (earplugs and eye masks take longer to wash), or in other words, they are not a problem at the cost of 64 per day. There is a Lawson nearby (open 24 hours), the nearest subway station is Xianggong Street, and there is a McDonald's to the south. Take the subway for 2 stops to Roosevelt Square, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk is open from 7:30 to 23:00. The boss is a nice person and has three cats (Mocha, Xiaojiu and Erhei).

Every time I visit Dalian, I stay here. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The location is very convenient, with plenty of amenities nearby, making it easy to get around to all the attractions. Overnight parking is only 10 yuan at this location, which is a great deal. Highly recommended!

The guest rooms at Xita Hotel have a rather heavy design style, and the renovation quality is quite poor. However, the overall service is excellent. After checking in, my child suddenly wanted some fruit. I casually asked a staff member, and even though the hotel doesn't usually provide complimentary fruit, two lovely staff members brought three fruits (a banana, an orange, and an apple) for my child. While not particularly fancy, it truly warmed my heart. I believe these fruits were probably their personal snacks. They even brought a rocking horse for my child to play with. One of the staff members was named Liu Lili – I apologize for forgetting the other lady's name. I'm incredibly grateful for their kindness and enthusiasm! Given the room rate is around a thousand yuan, I'd suggest the hotel should definitely offer complimentary fruit and small snacks. The cost is negligible, but it would make guests feel even more appreciated, otherwise, you might lose business to other hotels! Also, the hotel breakfast was very ordinary, which was disappointing.
