"The facilities are decent (the bedding is excellent). The environment is also okay (it's located at a transportation hub, so some noise is understandable; the hotel thoughtfully provided 3M earplugs, but you really should fix that window that doesn't close properly). The service attitude is just average (but that doesn't really matter anyway). Now for the main event: a cockroach with a split tail appeared in my room's bathroom! Is that one of your staff or a hotel feature? I really think such a basic mistake shouldn't happen. I'm not afraid of cockroaches myself, and I was too tired that day to bother changing rooms. Matching a free ticket to Hainan Betel Nut Valley 5A scenic area with a room featuring a cockroach is truly something special!"

GGuest UserThe room experience at InterContinental Haitang Bay was beyond five-star! The 88-square-meter space was incredibly spacious and bright, with a prime ocean-view balcony directly facing the azure sea and coconut groves. You could watch the sunrise over the ocean right from your bed, and the balcony bathtub offered sea views while you soaked – truly maximizing the vacation vibe. The room facilities were exquisite and complete, with a Dyson hairdryer and high-end toiletries all provided, showcasing quality in every detail. The entire room was impeccably clean, with a cozy yet stylish island-themed decor. The room service was also incredibly attentive; daily tidying was prompt and thorough, and requests were handled efficiently. The hotel is conveniently located next to the duty-free shop, just a short walk away, and a private beach is right outside. It was both comfortable and convenient, truly living up to its reputation as a benchmark hotel in Haitang Bay. The overall experience was superb, highly recommended! ✌️✌️✌️

GGuest UserStayed here for three nights, and overall it was decent. It was super crowded, which made for a lively atmosphere, but we had to queue just to get into breakfast, though the wait wasn't too long. The prices here are really high. A bottle of Coke Zero at the water park was 28, and a serving of Oden (6 skewers) was 48 (68 downstairs at the hotel). A single squid skewer was 48! At the Japanese restaurant downstairs, a bowl of Udon was 138 and a beef rice bowl was 168. We really should have taken a taxi to eat out, but we were just too lazy 😭. On the other hand, the room service food was delicious, and by comparison, it didn't seem so expensive. A set menu with four dishes (pictured in Figure 4) was 378. The worst experience here was the travel photography service (Fuyou Pai). The hotel offered five complimentary digital raw photos. First off, the photographer was probably in their forties or fifties, and had us pose in those old-fashioned studio styles from my childhood – and I couldn't refuse! 😭 The raw photos weren't even as good as what I could take with my phone, so I had no choice but to pay 100 for retouched versions. Then I ended up spending another 680 to buy 15 more retouched photos. That money was totally wasted. I've got a new goal for 2026: learn photography 📷. I thought the C Show performance was just okay, but the kids loved it and wanted to see it again 😓. Definitely get seats in the middle.

She provided daily updates and was very quick to respond to requests like duty-free store discounts. Her greetings were always appropriate, and she resolved any issues very quickly. Room cleaning was meticulous. Kids' Fun Camp and Kids' Water Park: The staff teachers were very patient and experienced with children, and the activities offered were abundant. The outdoor pool water temperature was just right. Ambiance: The room was clean and well-arranged. The hotel's overall environment was unique, and the attention to detail showed the hotel's dedication. This hotel offers great value for money, and my child absolutely loved it.

GGuest UserOur first stop for the winter break trip to Sanya! Rose, our wonderful butler, added me on WeChat several days in advance, providing thoughtful and comprehensive service. When we got out of the car, the bellhop single-handedly took care of all four of our bags! He was so impressive carrying all of them. Initially, we thought about checking in at the lobby on the first floor, but there were quite a few people waiting. Rose suggested we go directly to the executive lounge on the 3rd floor instead. The lobby attendant kindly guided us to the elevator, which was very considerate! Once at the executive lounge, I handled the check-in while the seniors took the kids to get some water and fruit. The lady who checked us in was beautiful, kind, and had a lovely smile. The young photographer was also excellent at directing poses, and all the photos turned out great. Everyone was very professional and enthusiastic. In the end, Rose even arranged for a small tent to be set up in our room for the kids and helped us get a late check-out until 1 PM. Oh, and the scenery outside the hotel is absolutely stunning – I even saw the sunrise in the morning! I feel it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely stay for more days next time!

A stroll through lush tropical gardens leads directly to the pristine white sand beach. The 180° sea view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sound of waves every morning and taking an evening walk under the coconut trees as the sun set truly brought the dream of ”facing the sea, with spring blossoms” to life. 🏨 Room Experience: Our sea-view suite was spacious and bright, with an elegant and comfortable modern Southeast Asian design. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries were high-quality – attention to detail was evident everywhere. The balcony lounge chair became my favorite spot to relax and unwind, with the sea breeze offering ultimate comfort. 🍽️ Dining Services: The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with Hainanese specialties like seafood fermented vinegar noodles and freshly cooked Hou'an noodles being particularly memorable. The seafood BBQ buffet we had for dinner at the hotel was excellent value for money. 👨👩👧 Family-Friendly: The kids' club had a wide range of activities, and the water park kept the children thoroughly entertained. The family-themed rooms were decorated with playful charm, and there was a delightful little dolphin plush toy surprise every day. Our butler, KAY, was incredibly warm and attentive. CChristinakiiiroGreat Location & Service Saved the Day Our stay was very good but be prepared for one thing. We knew about construction noise but not that it was government-approved for 24 hours. It was tough. I contacted Wendy on WeChat about my headache from the noise. She promptly showed us a new room and moved us in. The new room was excellent – two bedrooms two bathrooms clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was also very tasty. The location was ideal for exploring the city. A long waterfront park and the Sanya One mall are right there for meals and shopping. Don't miss the morning/evening walks on the promenade. Joining the local elders singing and exercising was a unique and wonderful experience.

The room had a special family setup, and the breakfast spread was extensive. My kids absolutely loved the underwater restaurant. Gina from guest services proactively arranged family activities, and there were exclusive sun loungers on the beach. My whole family was very satisfied, highly recommended! Kids' club + huge pool + daily family activities, my child was happy the whole time. Gina was available 24/7, proactively communicating before check-in and quick to respond to requests. The cleaning was meticulous, making for an excellent experience.

MM38484****The room layout was well-thought-out and convenient. The cleaning was thorough, with no corners missed. The service was excellent, especially our housekeeper Nicole, who provided daily, comprehensive reminders that were spot-on. Traveling with my child, we felt so much joy and security. We stayed for two days, and unexpectedly, Nicole even gave my child a small gift before we checked out. My child was thrilled! We're so grateful to Nicole for adding such a wonderful touch to our trip. The Xiangzhen Garden Party (featuring colorful go-karts, bouncy clouds, clown shows, touhu, archery, blindfolded gong hitting, fire dance performances, and bonfire interactions) was incredibly fun. My child absolutely loved it.

SSnnieThe hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, including a coconut grove garden, a beach, swimming pools, restaurants and bars, and a pet park... you really need to stay for several days to fully enjoy everything! The location is very convenient; it's a 10-minute walk to Haitang Bay 68 Food Street, which has chains like Pizza Hut, KFC, and Heytea, as well as local specialties. There's also a large supermarket right outside the hotel, making it easy to pick up daily necessities and fruits. There are several swimming pools, a children's water park, and even a heated pool, which is a great feature. You can swim until 10 PM, and it's incredibly pleasant to glide through the water with the evening breeze. Enjoy an immersive pet interaction experience with adorable bunnies, Call ducks, lambs, and even cats you can pet. The bedding is excellent; the duvet is light and soft. We stayed in a super king room with a private pool, and the bed felt huge for two people.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is indeed quite old; you can tell by the facilities and overall environment that it's dated. The front desk service was excellent, but the restaurant service was absolutely awful. The waitresses in the restaurant either couldn't understand what I was saying or deliberately ignored me. You'd ask a question, wait 10 seconds, and then they'd mumble a few words in a tiny voice. I didn't even need service, just a simple answer to my question.
