Besides the excellent location and convenient transportation, the room size was decent and didn't feel cramped. Plus, in addition to a shower, there was also a bathtub."

This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"We stayed in a deluxe twin. It’s nice spacious room with two 4 ft beds, even have a seating area with a couch in the room. The room acoustic is great, you don’t hear much traffic at all, except for sirens and some jerks roaming their sport cars engines at night. The amenities is great, please do explore around the hotel. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Nipponbashi and Namba station and is tucked slightly away from the bustling Namba and yet is just a street away. Hotel staff team is very polite, good English speaking and helpful. They helped me to change restaurant reservation  as I don’t speak Japanese. Will definitely come back again."

"The hotel shares facilities with Spa World. When I visited, it was decorated for Christmas. The room itself was decent, but they don't provide slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. For dining, you can eat at the large cafeteria on the third floor of Spa World or at one of their other restaurants. There's a good variety of choices, and the prices are reasonable."

Located in Osaka's Naniwa Ward, Arashi Daikokutyou Ten offers a great stay experience for those traveling for fun or business. At this homestay, you'll have access to a vending machines.

"Fully automated check-in with a password provided; luckily, there was no need to contact customer service for anything. There were many guests around, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it had a balcony and a kitchen (which I didn't use). The shower pressure was excellent. It's less than a 5-minute walk to Daikokucho subway station, which is very close. Shin-Imamiya, for JR and Nankai lines, is about 700m away, and the walk doesn't feel long at all. Overall, it's consistent with the description: convenient for travel, reasonably priced, and truly ideal for a short stay in Osaka to shop and eat. For luggage during check-in and check-out, you'll need to find lockers at the station (we stored ours directly at Nishi-Umeda). Also, no housekeeping, so you'll have to tidy up yourself. However, both of these points are acceptable."

"I had a concert at Kyocera Dome, but my night bus was canceled due to snow, so I quickly booked this hotel. It was a direct route on Midosuji Street. From the outside, it looked like a forest! There was a huge tree at the front desk! There were several check-in machines, so I didn't have to queue and could check in right away. It asked for a photo of my driver's license (why?). This might be difficult for foreigners. To get to the room, you first take the elevator at the front desk, get off on the second floor. Once you're in the hallway, there's another elevator that takes you to the guest rooms. The unique exterior, interesting check-in process, and the fun journey to the room really excited me! The room uses a password key for entry. When I checked in, a receipt-like paper came out with the password on it. It's not an auto-lock, so make sure to press the lock button before you go out. Overall, the room lighting is dim. The full-length mirror is also tucked between two walls, so you can't really see yourself. It's hard to do makeup. The bathroom is small, but if you're used to traveling, I think it's acceptable. I had a very comfortable stay. The TV settings were difficult, and I couldn't watch terrestrial digital broadcasting, but I could watch YouTube."

"The rooms are simple and clean, offering a quiet retreat despite being in a bustling area. The location is excellent, close to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, making it perfect for first-time visitors to Osaka. The lounge offers complimentary drinks, and the kids absolutely loved the pancakes. The breakfast is arguably the best among hotels in its class, though you might have to queue if you go later (no need to queue before 7:30 AM). Even if there's a queue, it's usually not very long, about 10-30 minutes."

"Treasure Hotel! It's brand new, owned by Koreans, and the staff are incredibly friendly, always smiling. 😊 It's near Daikokucho Subway Station, a three-minute walk away, and two stops to Shinsaibashi. There's a FamilyMart just 20 meters downstairs. The rooms are incredibly spacious, a rarity in Japan, and they're suites with two bathrooms, two showers, and four beds, making them perfect for a family. With only a few rooms per floor, it's very quiet. It's also hard to book a room here. So if you see availability, don't hesitate—it's definitely worth it."

"We stayed at Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi for two nights during the Osaka portion of our trip coming from Tokyo. This was my fourth time in Japan and my first traveling with my toddler, so efficiency and convenience mattered more than ever with his ADHD. This is very much a business-style hotel, and it delivers well in that category. Guests receive a complimentary two-hour voucher to a WeWork-style coworking space located upstairs near reception, which includes internet access and unlimited drinks and snacks. For business travelers, that’s a strong value add. I would come here again by myself. While the staff were not fully fluent in English, they used an advanced real-time translation system displayed on a screen at the front desk. Pretty cool. It translated conversations instantly, which was impressive and made communication smooth. The staff were friendly and professional. The interaction felt slightly less personal due to the language barrier, but that’s understandable. The complimentary coffee helped bridge that gap. 24 hrs staff as well. One standout feature was their handling of our luggage forwarding from Yamato Transport. The hotel received our forwarded suitcases and held them before check-in, then delivered everything directly to our room. This was extremely helpful because we arrived from via Shinkansen, continued on to Kyoto and Nara to visit the deer and temples, and only returned to the hotel later that evening. Not having to carry luggage through multiple cities made a huge difference. Those elevators are tight! During this Osaka leg, we visited Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, enjoyed observatory views at Abeno Harukas 300 and the Umeda Sky Building, and took a day trip to Kyoto to see the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The hotel is about a 5–7 minute walk from three subway lines and is well positioned for accessing major attractions across the city. If you want to be more central try Namban or Umeda. With days averaging 12,000 to 15,000 steps, we often grabbed food nearby or I ordered through Uber Eats, which is surprisingly affordable compared to U.S. pricing. Options within walking distance included Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Saizeriya, and even high-end omakase sushi spots. The in-room washer/dryer was another major convenience since we packed light and relied on doing laundry mid-trip. Really wished there was a kitchen area though with dishware and utensils. Overall, Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi is a practical, well-located choice for travelers who prioritize efficiency, transit access, and in-room laundry. It served as a solid home base for an active Osaka itinerary. I would come here again."

"To avoid rushing for my flight the next morning, I booked this hotel in Rinku Town in advance. It was incredibly convenient, right outside the station and very easy to spot – just look for the tallest building in the area. However, there are two hotels in this one building, likely part of the same group, as they share a breakfast area. The suite we stayed in was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We even got to see a beautiful sunrise in the morning. We pre-booked the airport shuttle with the front desk, which was very convenient."
