The room was large, everything you need, complimentary drinks and snacks etc. The room is dated but good value. Excellent staff.
Cons:
No plug sockets accessible by the bed. Please note the sockets in the room are Singapore 3 pin plug sockets.
Very, very noisy all day and night from passing traffic, loud motorbikes and engine noises if your room is road facing.
Luke warm breakfast, can't be particularly healthy.

GGuest UserThis is a first time I’m staying here, perfect location as for family can walk to the one Batam mall and opp there’s a lotus supermarket.
Pool and gym just nearby, convenient for parents to workout while kids having good time in the pool. Last day after breakfast we spent time playing pool just outside the breakfast area. Children enjoyed it.
Staff is helpful and polite.

We recently stayed at Barelang Resort Batam for a family getaway, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing and kid-friendly trips we’ve had in a while.

The resort sits right by the water near the iconic Barelang Bridge, so the views—especially during sunrise and sunset—are beautiful. It’s quiet, peaceful, and away from the city crowd, making it perfect for families who want to unwind.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and many come with balcony views facing the sea or the pool. Perfect for families with kids who need space to move around. Housekeeping was quick and helpful throughout our stay.

CCheeWH79Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Montigo. The villas are spacious and well kept. Privte pool is clean with water jet nozzles enhancing swimming experience. The highlight would be the scenic seaview. There are sufficient amenities and activities to enjoy like ATV, jet ski and various water sports. There are 5 restaurants to choose for daily meals. The Nasi Ayam Berrmpah I had for dinner at Warung was excellent. Tiiigo is a nice poolside bar to chill and chat the night away. Breakfast was average. I like the freshly made pratas. The staffs are courteous and helpful. Only downside is there no actual beach here. Only a jetty waterfront.

AAnonymous UserI had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and the front desk staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The room itself was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition.
However, we stayed in Room 426 and had a very difficult time sleeping. The bed makes a lot of loud noise every time you turn over, which made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. If you are looking for quality sleep, I would recommend requesting a different room.
The worst part is I forgot to ask for changing another room😇😇😇

Breakfast is ok for the price paid, don't expect too high.Swimming pool under maintenance, can't use. Overall satisfactory for a budget stay.

GGuest UserNice location for a relaxing holiday. A bit disappointed we were not able to do the activities due to the bad weather on CNY and the next day the jet skis were broken so all we could do was the atv. Pool table at the reception was also broken.
Breakfast was good, rooms are large and clean. We had two rooms and in both rooms the safe deposit boxes were locked so we had to call to get these opened. The balcony was wet as the roofs were leaking and the chairs would be dripped on from the leaky roof.
The gym is in another resort so you had to take a buggy to go there and it was probably similar to the one that Arnold Schwarzenegger used when training for the Mr Universe competition as it looked that old, in my opinion it is non functional. The beach volleyball was also not really useable as the beach is very narrow and steep, one side of the net is just a few inches above the sand, it is just there to tick a box.

GGuest UserOur 2nd time staying here and we booked a total of 4 rooms. All was good except that your breakfast can be improve with more selection like having a egg live station and a porridge section. Bread toaster as well was not working well, waited for 20mins and still the bread is not well toasted. We decided to go over to Golden View Hotel and pay for our breakfast on the 2nd morning.
We had dinner on out first night but was disappointed with your dessert. Both the lava and cheese cake taste like it been kept for weeks, does not taste fresh.

DDr. ErikI loved Batam View so much! I'll be honest, I wanted to stay at Turi Resort, where I normally stay, but they were fully booked. So I tried Batam View, and I was flabbergasted. I had a room in the main building with sea view, and it was stunning. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, modern, comfortable. The hotel's beach and pool are both amazing, and I was so happy to find a really deep pool (rare in Asia), plus a very clean beach. I had an unforgettable dinner at the beach, too. The staff are universally lovely, attentive and professional! I saw the villas and definitely want to stay there next time! I spent a lovely 6 nights there and cannot wait to return!
