GGuest UserThis might not be the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's definitely where I've slept the most comfortably. The hotel is very close to the bustling Nanluoguxiang and Yonghe Temple. The room was extremely clean and quiet, with a nostalgic style that made me feel grounded and peaceful. Being in the hutong, you really get a feel for the capital's alleyway life, and everyone was so nice! The service was absolutely top-notch; I forgot something when I checked out, and the front desk contacted me and mailed it back for free! I love it so much ❤️!

GGuest UserAt breakfast, the cups still had leftover dirt and weren't washed clean, and many plates were put out for guests to use while still wet. Plus, the dining area was freezing.
As for the dinner buffet, the crab was served in a very ”stingy” way. I'd suggest either setting a quota of one crab per person at the table, or simply taking it off the menu altogether. Only at most four people could grab some each time, while the rest of the guests couldn't even catch a glimpse of it. On top of that, it was only replenished almost once an hour.
On the bright side, the hotel staff remained very warm and enthusiastic, despite being extremely busy during the Golden Week holiday.

AAnonymous UserI had a great overall stay at the Beijing Gubei Water Town Hotel. It's located right near the scenic area entrance, making it very convenient to explore the water town and do the night tour of the Great Wall. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and check-in was quick and efficient. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and decent soundproofing, allowing us to get a great night's rest after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast offered a good variety of tasty Chinese and Western options. The hotel itself has a wonderful resort-like vibe and is wonderfully quiet and relaxing at night. The only minor downside was that the elevators took a little while during peak hours, but it wasn't a big deal. Considering the location, service, cleanliness, and comfort, it offers great value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Gubei Water Town.

The hotel environment is peaceful, elegant, and full of luxury. From the lobby to the outdoor grounds, every step offers a picturesque view—super photogenic! In the evening, there's a musical fountain, and it's nice, quiet, and not crowded.
The kids' playground, spa, gym, and swimming pool were all open and fully operational. The room was spacious and spotless, with very comfortable bedding that gave us a wonderful night's sleep.
We tried both the Chinese and Western dining options; the food tasted great with a wide variety to choose from. The staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful—special thanks to Bingao!
A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city to unwind and relax on vacation. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay. Highly recommended and definitely worth a return visit!

GGuest UserTwo years ago, I stayed here in late autumn and absolutely loved strolling by the lake, as well as hiking the Xishan trail to admire the autumn scenery and overlook the lakeside views from above. Taking advantage of the lull before the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays, and coinciding with my daughter's birthday, we decided to return to Sunrise Kempinski for another stay.
During check-in, Zhang Jiajia at the front desk thoughtfully noticed it was my daughter's birthday. Super attentive and heartwarming, she upgraded our booked city-view room to a lake-view room free of charge, and even arranged it in a prime central location. The panoramic lake and mountain views were breathtaking – a wonderful and unexpected birthday surprise!
That evening, we dined at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. We ordered steamed sea bass, boiled snowflake beef, stir-fried choy sum, and a vegetable salad. The food was delicious and the portions were so generous we couldn't finish it all. Being advocates of 'no waste,' we packed the leftovers and put them in the fridge. The next day at noon, I somewhat sheepishly asked the restaurant supervisor, ”We had a lot of leftovers last night, and every dish was delicious, it would be such a waste to throw them away. Could I order two new dishes and bother the kitchen to reheat last night's leftovers for us?” To my surprise, the supervisor promptly replied, ”If the leftovers are enough for you, you don't even have to order new dishes.” What was even more heartwarming was that the leftovers were not only reheated thoroughly and served piping hot, but they were also meticulously arranged on various beautifully shaped plates, looking indistinguishable from freshly ordered dishes. I've stayed in many high-end hotels, but I've truly never encountered such kind, thoughtful, and down-to-earth service anywhere else. The Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing, Yanqi Lake, truly deserves high praise! 👍👍👍

WwindyxpThe room is very spacious, and the bathroom area is quite large, perfect for a family. There's plenty of room for dining and playing together. The height of the chairs and tables is a bit mismatched; you sink in quite a bit when you sit down. The bunk beds were a hit with the kids. Plus, there's a private indoor hot spring in the room, which is free and quite nice. The hotel breakfast is pretty average, with the variety and taste on par with a 3-star hotel in the city center. The hot spring is connected to the hotel, and you can re-enter until noon the next day by registering your room number. However, you do need to exchange your entry wristband.

MMuMuWe took advantage of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday to bring the kids to Clubmed Yanqing Resort, making this Mid-Autumn Festival truly special and meaningful. The resort offers a plethora of activities, keeping us entertained from morning till night. The kids were incredibly excited the entire time and simply couldn't stop playing.
The restaurant choices were also abundant, with a diverse range of dishes that both adults and children enjoyed. The room was meticulously cleaned, spotless, and odor-free, providing a very comfortable stay.
A special shout-out must go to Kang for his exceptionally thoughtful service. He was always prompt in assisting with any request we had, truly going above and beyond. The resort had a strong Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, and it was a relaxing and pleasant vacation for the whole family.
Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. The kids had a blast, and we adults were able to truly unwind. We've already made plans with the family to come back for another vacation here when we get the chance.

HHuowosimalianThis place has everything you could want nearby: food, drinks, entertainment, and shopping. It's really close to the subway station, and bus access is pretty convenient too. It looks like a regular hotel, but it's actually more like a hostel. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and there are a lot of international guests. I stayed here for a few days, and they even have washing machines and dryers available. Definitely my top choice for my next trip to Beijing!

The biggest advantage is definitely the location.
It's only one subway station away from Beijing Railway Station, and also just one stop from Tiananmen Square.
It is truly so convenient.
Breakfast: There are a few issues. First, the steamed buns are not placed according to the food labels, which causes quite a bit of trouble for vegetarians and guests with halal dietary requirements. Second, the ice cream container was empty.
Third, spicy foods are not clearly labeled with warnings.
Fourth, there are no small spoons provided in the yogurt section.
Room facilities: The lighting is dim, and the setup on the second floor of the suite is too basic—there isn't even a small side table to put things on.
There are fewer seats in the lobby waiting area compared to last time.
Value for money: The first time was great value, but the second time I booked in a hurry, so...

GGanKYJunHeFu courtyard team has made our journey and stay easy. The service desk team helped us to get taxi ride when we were stuck at the train station on a rainy day. The breakfast have been pretty, delicious and nutritious. The team also provided laundry service while we were out having fun so that I get clean clothes by the time I get back in the late evening. They also have given me good tips and advice to arrange for taxi transport to the capital airport. Overall I had a very cozy and comfortable stay at JunHeFu
