The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

Service: The service was absolutely superb! They'd ask for your estimated arrival time and even come out to greet you and help with luggage. Both the staff, the young ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly kind and responsive to any questions. They were also very thoughtful; there was afternoon tea upon check-in, and the breakfast was prepared with great care, offering rice noodles, congee, and even options with dietary fiber and protein. Oh, and there's an adorable little cat at the guesthouse! Environment: The environment was beyond words! I was immediately stunned by the view from the front desk area where we checked in. The view from the room was also exceptional, with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, allowing you to enjoy the scenery right from your bed. The surroundings are very quiet and secluded, making for a truly comfortable stay. The hygiene was also excellent – very clean and tidy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the latex pillow was a lifesaver for my neck issues. The amenities were also quite comprehensive! I usually stay in hotels a lot, but this guesthouse experience was exceptionally nice.

I rarely write reviews 😊, but I absolutely have to share my experience this time, as I visited Dali with my two kids! 😃 The location is absolutely fantastic 👍. It's just one street away from the Sanyue Street market, so it's close but not noisy – perfect for families with children. There are many great restaurants nearby, all serving authentic Bai cuisine. Tourist attractions are also easily accessible, and taxis are convenient. The guesthouse itself has an elegant and tranquil ambiance, with modern facilities and a stylish, high-quality decor. My kids finally got their wish with the starry sky room, which they'd been dreaming of. The little tent was adorable, especially the soaking tub! 👍👍👍 After a tiring day of sightseeing, a soak in the tub was so relaxing, and both my daughter and son loved it, soaking every day. Upon check-in, we received complimentary fruit, and breakfast was incredibly rich and plentiful – the kids ate their fill and absolutely loved it! A special shout-out to the front desk staff, both the young lady and gentleman 👍👍👍. They were always ready to help, no matter the time, and patiently provided information on attractions, transportation, and important tips. The proprietress was also warm and thoughtful, not only answering all our questions but also sincerely recommending authentic local delicacies that were simply delicious. The owner is also a gourmet! He helped us arrange for local ingredients like free-range chicken and freshly picked wild mushrooms, and cooked a wonderfully delicious free-range chicken and mushroom soup, along with other local dishes. It was incredibly tasty! We ate it two days in a row and still couldn't get enough. The price was also affordable for such mountain delicacies – absolutely superb! I'm truly grateful 🙏. This guesthouse is warm, down-to-earth, and full of human touch. Not only was our stay comfortable and our meals enjoyable, but we also left feeling incredibly happy! It's suitable for couples, friends traveling together, or family trips. It's definitely on my list for a return visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel offers a fantastic view, especially from the rooftop common area where you can see the beautiful Erhai Lake – perfect for photos. The owner is incredibly thoughtful; they offer a pick-up service, and even reimbursed our taxi fare when we arrived. On the second morning, they brought breakfast directly to our room at 10 AM since we hadn't gotten up yet. We enjoyed breakfast in the room while watching squirrels hopping outside – the environment is truly wonderful. The owner also runs a tea business and even gave us some tea as a souvenir when we left. They truly made us feel at home.

Returning to Dali from Jizu Mountain, I temporarily chose to stay at Jinsuo Island. I have been to Dali many times, and this is my first time on the island. This hotel is indeed the most satisfactory one. The room has an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sea and the sunrise while lying on the bed. The facilities are very smart and the hygiene is also very clean. Super cost-effective! The breakfast in the sea view restaurant is also a little surprise.

The hotel staff was extremely welcomimg and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fresh Soy Bean Milk and their local delicious fresh corn every morning. We were offered a ride around the lake by the hotel manager, he showed us the best places to buy authentic Yunnan Tea outside of the main tourist traps and received a small gift on our departure. It felt more like staying with friends than being just another customer at the hotel. The room was super nice, clean and we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

🌲 Dali Cangshan Oxygen Retreat | Living in This Forest, I Kicked My Phone Addiction🍃 Seriously, I'm so grateful! The biggest surprise of my Dali trip wasn't the ancient city or Erhai Lake, but this forest B&B nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain 🌿. As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. Back in Dali, I decided to revisit the Xianyun 360-degree Cliff Seaview Hot Spring B&B, and it truly lived up to expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly polite and attentive. I later found out that the humble and helpful manager, who was always ready to assist, was also from Beijing, which made me feel right at home. The B&B's environment is serene and immaculate. The private hot spring pool in the room is definitely the highlight. Soaking in the hot spring, you're directly facing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it's like a landscape painting come to life. During my downtime, I loved sitting on the balcony, gazing at Cangshan and Erhai, which was incredibly therapeutic after a long journey. The restaurant's dishes were delicious and flavorful. My experience was as excellent as ever, truly a hidden gem of a seaview B&B. Choosing to stay here twice speaks volumes about its reliable quality. This was an absolutely fantastic homestay experience. I've stayed in other places where the photos looked great, but the reality was a huge disappointment. So I didn't have high expectations this time, but wow, was I surprised! Could a homestay actually look as good as its pictures? Was the 'butler service' more than just a slogan? And could a room really be this beautiful without a wide-angle lens? This time, I truly experienced it all. If I had to nitpick, I'd suggest the host add a few more hooks in the room. Other than that, there's nothing else to say. If you're reading reviews and researching accommodations, go ahead and book this place with confidence – you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful Stay in Dali We had such a wonderful stay here! The room was spotless and the service was truly tip-top. The staff (Popo) were incredibly thoughtful — they helped us with our luggage, provided sunscreen, and even arranged a complimentary photoshoot for us. We were also given a lovely rose vinegar drink at night and a rose petal foot soak, which were such special touches. Breakfast deserves a special mention too. We don’t eat pork or beef, and the staff went out of their way to contact us and prepare different options for us. We really appreciated the effort and care. Such warm hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! ❤️
