"The hotel room's bedding had serious hygiene issues, which directly harmed my health and resulted in an extremely poor stay.
On the day I checked in, I noticed a distinct musty, damp smell and a slightly moist feel on the sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases. They didn't feel properly aired out, dry, or clean. The next morning, before heading out, I placed the 'change bedding' sign on the bed and left a note explaining the situation.
By then, I already had some localized itching and a rash, but I didn't realize it was due to the bedding. I thought it was just heat rash because of the warm weather. When I returned to the room the next day, the smell on the bedding had lessened but was still present. Trusting the hotel, I didn't think much of it. However, on the third day, my symptoms worsened significantly, with intense itching. Loratadine didn't help, severely impacting my travel plans and health. After returning home, I was diagnosed with hives at the hospital, an allergic reaction directly caused by contact with moldy, damp, and unhygienic hotel bedding, and by inhaling mold spores.
As a traveler, I chose your hotel for its brand reputation for hygiene and service. However, the room's bedding was not thoroughly cleaned, dried, or sanitized, showing clear hygiene negligence and safety risks. This completely violates basic hotel hygiene standards. Damp and moldy bedding not only created a terrible experience but also directly harmed my health, leaving me extremely dissatisfied with this stay."
