"This place was extremely clean and spacious. The room design is very unique with one whole side being a window making the sun look very nice. Very friendly staff at reception they saved us by printing the documents we needed for our visa. Worth every penny."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, and had plenty of places to spread our luggage out. The smart toilet was interesting. I did laundry here and it was very simple. There was even a massage chair in the gym that I used while I waited for my laundry to finish. The location was great. Just steps away from a subway, plenty of food choices and only a few minutes walk to major shopping and attractions."

"This B&B near Disneyland is an absolute paradise for couples! From the moment we stepped into the room, we were amazed by the cozy and romantic decor. The double-layered blackout curtains and the starlit glass ceiling made our nights incredibly dreamy. The free shuttle directly to the park was super convenient. We also loved the swing by the pool and the starlit bathtub on the terrace – they were so picturesque."

"Intercontinental Holiday Hotel: A hidden gem near Shanghai Disneyland! The hotel facilities are brand new and perfect for families, with a kids' playground and splash pool – great for kids. The rooms are clean and quiet, ideal for relaxing after a long day. The service is excellent, making it our top choice for Disneyland trips. Highly recommended for families with children! Their shuttle service to Disneyland, Pudong Airport, and the Wildlife Park is a huge plus. The free Disneyland shuttle (pictured in photo 7) is incredibly convenient, covering both early entry and fireworks return. It's about a 40-minute drive to Pudong Airport, and you can easily get there by ride-sharing or pre-booking the hotel's shuttle. The breakfast is abundant and my kids loved it. We left Shanghai right after Disneyland due to concerns about the white dolphin, otherwise, we would have definitely stayed a few more nights. Service: We arrived quite late, but check-in was very quick, and they helped us with our luggage up to our room floor."

"The environment was much better than I expected, and it's super close to Disneyland with a shuttle service, which was incredibly convenient. The guesthouse owner was also very friendly, and there were lots of little cats to pet. This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Disneyland!"

"Booked the Jiaotong Concert and immediately reserved a stay at Fenyang Garden Hotel, which is conveniently close. We were able to check in early upon arrival. My friends and I had lunch at the hotel restaurant. The 4-person set meal was too much for 5 of us, but the food was fresh, varied, and delicious. We had the leftovers packed and stored at the restaurant. For dinner, we dined at the hotel restaurant again, ordered a few dim sum dishes, and to our delight, the chef re-heated and artfully plated our packed leftovers – a truly touching gesture. The hotel's ambiance is elegant and tranquil, perfect for photos. Our room had a balcony, was clean and tidy, and well-equipped. For afternoon tea, the hotel provided complimentary fruit, small snacks, and a free mini-bar with beer, soda, etc. Enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony, with its wrought-iron railings, reflecting the red tiles and green leaves, bathed in the soft, fragmented sunlight and a gentle breeze, while listening to the evening concert's melodies – it was a wonderfully relaxing and ritualistic afternoon tea experience. The front desk and restaurant staff were proactive and attentive. The doorman at the main entrance could use further training, but the management handled issues promptly, professionally, and effectively."

"The room was very clean, and the service attitude was excellent. Disney Shuttle: Fantastic! After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel (both Western and Chinese options were delicious), we were full and ready to take the shuttle to Disneyland. The journey was very short, and taking the shuttle back to the hotel in the evening was super convenient. It's also very close to the subway station. If your main focus is Disneyland and you're looking for good value for money, I highly recommend this place!!!"

By day, it's the vibrant energy of a bustling city; by night, it's the glittering spectacle of a million lights. Even just sitting by the window is a pure delight. The meticulous service truly touched my heart at every turn. Upon arrival, the doorman swiftly took my luggage, and I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. Check-in at the front desk took only 3 minutes, and I was offered iced lemonade and a customized gift with the hotel's logo – this thoughtful gesture far exceeded my expectations. The room design strikes a perfect balance between quality and practicality. The light gray soft furnishings paired with walnut wood furniture exude understated luxury. The high-thread-count cotton bedding is incredibly soft, allowing you to relax the moment you lie down. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation, and the toiletries have a subtle woody scent. Even the shower water temperature can be precisely controlled – every detail is impeccable. The breakfast restaurant was another pleasant surprise; the freshly ordered Shanghai xiao long bao were bursting with delicious soup, paired with a freshly ground latte, all while overlooking the city in the morning light, starting the day feeling completely refreshed. Upon check-out, the concierge proactively arranged for my vehicle registration in advance, saving me 120 RMB in parking fees. Such an experience is excellent for both business and leisure travelers. Special thanks to front desk managers Teemo and Lynn, and intern Fanny. Their service was incredibly polite and attentive. A true credit to Shanghai's tourism industry!"

"If you're visiting Disneyland, you absolutely have to stay at this guesthouse with a pool! The courtyard is elegant, and the pool is clean and refreshing. After a day at the park, soaking in the water instantly washes away all the fatigue. The host provides excellent service, including a dedicated shuttle for round-trip transfers to the park, making getting around super hassle-free. The environment is quiet and comfortable, offering fantastic value for money, and truly immerses you in a wonderful vacation vibe."

"I had some friends from abroad visiting Shanghai for a business trip, and their plans changed, requiring them to extend their stay. So, I booked them into The Luxury Collection Hotel, Shanghai. When I brought them to the front desk for check-in, I was truly impressed by the professional and warm welcome we received from the front office manager and the Concierge with the Golden Keys. They not only processed the check-in quickly but also provided my friends with recommendations for unique, lesser-known spots to explore in Shanghai, even giving them their business cards in case they had any questions. Even as a local Shanghainese, I felt a bit inadequate in comparison! While I know this hotel is almost 20 years old and I can understand some of its hardware might be a bit dated, it's precisely staff like them that allow an established five-star hotel to maintain such a high standard of service. My friends also specifically wanted to thank the housekeeping attendant who cleaned their room; they said she always had a warm, cheerful smile while cleaning during the day, which made them feel incredibly comfortable. If I get the chance, I will definitely recommend more friends to stay at this hotel. The service is truly excellent!"
