Rome Hotels with Pools

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding – sheets, duvet covers, and pillows – was equally pleasant. It's conveniently located very close to the Vatican, with a taxi ride costing only 20 Euros. Each room comes with a balcony, and the air quality was quite good. However, the room temperature wasn't individually adjustable. It was 28°C (82°F) during our summer stay, and it got so hot that we had to wait until after 9 AM the following day for someone from maintenance to adjust it. There's a pool downstairs which seemed quite clean, but access isn't direct; you need to pick up a pass from the front desk first.

The room and place is very clean and the staff are kind. There was written on the website(Trip.com) that the breakfast is 12 euro for an adult and the children under 17 y is free, but the restaurant staff said it's not true. It was more than duble price. But we'd like to come back again and stay few days, the kids will enjoy a lot!

There's also a small bar and restaurant on the ground floor, plus useful amenities like a printer. The surrounding area is lovely, though it's a bit far from the city center. However, it's a great option if you're flying out of Fiumicino the next day, as there's a direct train to the airport that takes about 30 minutes. Just be aware of strikes or delays (delays are pretty common). A little tip: technically you need a ticket for the train, but I couldn't find the red ticket machine at the station closest to the hotel, so I just got on without one and no one checked. Still, it's always best to buy a ticket to avoid any fines. The platform closest to the hotel goes towards the airport, and the one across the tracks goes to the city – don't mix them up!

Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and high-quality service. We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The cleanliness was outstanding, and everything was well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making the service truly excellent. The amenities were also excellent and contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only downside was the location, as it was quite far from the city center. Reaching the main attractions required changing buses and metro lines several times, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. It would be very helpful if the property could offer a shuttle service for guests, even as a paid option, to make transportation easier and more convenient. A very, very good hotel. Although the location is a bit far from the city and the central station, a taxi cost about 16 euros a day, but the hotel rooms are indeed much better than those in the city. Especially the bed and soundproofing, the surrounding area is purely residential, restaurants and supermarkets are very close and convenient. The hotel provides a taxi service for 10 euros a trip to the vicinity of the Mouth of Truth.

In terms of location, Hotel Roma Montemario falls short, being quite a distance from major landmarks, which could be a drawback for those looking to explore the city easily. Ultimately, while the hotel has its charms, aspects like room size, shower space, additional fees, and location should be considered when booking a stay at this establishment.

This is a very good hotel. I will come again next time. The transportation is convenient. The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful. The room is clean and tidy. It is a good hotel for travel.

Though I booked a standard room with a courtyard view, they gave me a room at the backside with no view. Though the hotel is 4 stars but I was surprised that the room has no mini bar or kettle or provided bottle of water. Breakfast is ok with good varieties. Location is convenient, only 15 minutes by bus to St Peter cathedral. Overall experience is good for the value of money

Frankly, we were a little worried, but apart from the campsite seeming a bit deserted in places, for the price, there's nothing to complain about. It's not a 4-star, but it's good for cheap accommodation and for taking the train to visit Rome. There's a shuttle every morning that takes you to the train station and picks you up in the evening. At this price, it's very reasonable and it's clean.
