"Five stars to The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay! The pool complex is an absolute highlight, with river paddleboarding and the rooftop infinity pool being incredibly photogenic. It's also super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the Duty-Free Shopping Mall. The family-friendly facilities are excellent, the service is thoughtful, and the beach is quiet and uncrowded, making it feel like a true getaway. Although the rooms are a little dated, the overall value for money is fantastic. It's definitely my top choice for a water-based vacation; highly recommended!"

The room was impeccably clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and tidy. They thoughtfully arranged towel swans, cute plush toy displays, and fresh flowers, even spelling out 'Welcome Home' with greenery. The attention to detail in creating the ambiance was perfect. The staff were warm and attentive, making my entire stay feel comfortable and genuinely like coming home. - Newly Upgraded Facilities | Delightful Dining Options The hotel has opened a new, unique revolving self-service BBQ restaurant. The rustic garden-style decor with rattan lanterns creates a wonderful atmosphere. The revolving counter offers a rich variety of fresh meats, with tender Qiqihar-style fatty beef and original cut ribeye cooked to order. Paired with three secret dipping sauces and lettuce, the BBQ is absolutely delicious. Guests can enjoy an authentic BBQ feast without even leaving the hotel – incredibly convenient for meals. - Gardens & Pool | Epic Sea View Sunset The infinity pool area on the sixth floor has undergone a major renovation. The surrounding lawns have been re-landscaped with lush greenery, creating a pleasant environment. The pool directly faces the stunning mountain and sea views of Dadonghai. At sunset, the sky fills with a gradient of pink and orange hues, and the lights of the entire bay gradually illuminate. The pool water reflects the twilight, and every photo taken is an atmospheric, cinematic sea-view shot. - Rooftop Chill Bar | Full of Vacation Vibes The beachfront chill bar next to the pool has also been upgraded. Underneath the palm trees, there are turquoise sun umbrellas and soft beanbag chairs, with cute panda dolls adorning the coconut trees. You can enjoy the sea breeze while taking in the triple night views of the mountains, sea, and city. An evening drink here is incredibly relaxing, perfect for unwinding. Playing in the water during the day and enjoying the scenery in the evening – it’s a truly fulfilling leisure vacation. My experience a year later is still a perfect score. The rooms, dining, gardens, and recreational facilities have all been comprehensively upgraded. It's suitable for both family and couple getaways, and the value for money is excellent. "The staff were all very friendly and helpful, assisting with luggage upon arrival and departure (special thanks to Xiao Long at the entrance!). Cleanliness: The room was cleaned meticulously by the housekeeping auntie every day, and she even neatly folded small items and clothes. Environment: The hotel's location is super convenient, with a coconut grove promenade right downstairs. We enjoyed beautiful sea views, including both sunrise and sunset."

"The hotel was clean and well-maintained. There were no strange smells in the room, which is very important to us. Housekeeping was done daily and thoroughly, so it was always a pleasure to return to a fresh room after our walks. I'd like to specially mention the hotel's location; it's practically in the heart of the resort area. There are many shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, and the beach is just a 2-minute walk away. The sea was clean and turquoise, but it was often closed for swimming due to rip currents and waves. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly towards guests. I'd like to extend a special thank you to Volodya! He was always ready to help with any issue and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. His care and attention left the most pleasant impressions. The hotel provided us with vouchers for free ice cream, two per day for each day of our stay. They also offered a free photoshoot in national costumes, supposedly 5 photos for free, with additional ones for an extra charge. For children, there are great play areas where various workshops are held, with drawing, sculpting, and more. We also recommend visiting the ”1981” restaurant located in the hotel. They serve authentic Peking duck, which is absolutely delicious! Just a tip: don't order too many dishes at once, as the portions are truly large. One duck was enough for us. On the ground floor of the hotel, there's a massage parlor. We tried acupuncture and therapeutic massage and were very satisfied. Everything is conveniently located, so there's no need to travel far."

"When checking in, a staff member helped me with my luggage and even brought it up to my room. My only minor inconvenience was that check-in wasn't until 3 PM when I first arrived, but they allowed a late check-out until past 2 PM. The front desk also upgraded my room to one with a great ocean view, which was lovely. The infinity pool was beautiful and not too crowded, with staff members around for supervision. Any issues I had were resolved quickly by the butler. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would choose to stay here again if I visit Sanya Bay."

"Every year, I come to Bird's Nest for a few days. Even though I'm quite afraid of small animals, the mountain scenery is truly beautiful. I've stayed at Egret and Eagle before, and this time I'm in Phoenix Terrace. The pool is gorgeous, and the Thai food is delicious, but the prices seem to have gone up again! One thing was quite annoying: one day, we called a car to go for breakfast. We waited at the pickup point for nearly ten minutes. When the car arrived, the three of us stood up and walked a few steps towards it, when a tour guide aggressively yelled, 'This car isn't for you! Only hotel guests can ride it!' My husband, still good-natured, told him, 'We are hotel guests, and we booked the car.' But the guide, still very strong-willed, retorted, 'You can't take this one!' He startled my daughter, who was walking in front! If I hadn't wanted to spoil the day, I would have asked him to speak properly and why he was being so rude early in the morning! Later, the driver, after checking on the walkie-talkie, called us back to the car. The tour guide took 4 or 5 tourists aside to explain something; they didn't even look like hotel guests. It was quite frustrating! I reported the incident to the butler, who explained that the guide was from the scenic area, not the hotel. He also offered a late check-out, but we were rushing to our next hotel, so we declined. Although the tour guide was technically right that it's a car for hotel guests, we didn't do anything wrong. Being yelled at for no reason, I really hope they can train their staff better. When you finally get a holiday, everyone wants to have a good time!"

"The ocean view from the room was absolutely stunning. The room was clean and hygienic. For this price in Sanya, staying in a sea-view room like this is amazing! The location is also great, the price is reasonable, and the butler service was excellent. The butler could arrange yacht trips and various entertainment activities in advance. Staying at this apartment was so worry-free! Highly recommended!"

"When we got there, the scanner had broken, and reception wanted to keep our passports. However, they were very understanding when we said we wanted to keep them with us. We felt that the attitude of the porter was very bad, we got there late, but the young man seemed impatient. The rest of the staff were very polite. The room was large, with a good view of the ocean. The bathtub plug was broken, and water drained from the bathtub even though the plug was secured. The sink plug was stuck, and water couldn't drain. Both my room and my friend's room had a bad odour, despite having scent diffusers. Other than the odour, her room with a view of the pool had no other issues. We felt the cleanliness was good, although there was a drain fly in my room. The rooms were stocked with water, coffee and tea. The pool area is lovely, and the grounds are beautiful and well-kept. There is a gate to the beach, but myself and another guest couldn't figure out how to open it, and the other guest had to ask a staff member to show her how to open the gate. I recommend making it easier for guests to access the beach."

"I had seen this 'influencer' hotel promoted on公众号 (official accounts) a few years ago, but never really paid much attention to it. Having visited Sanya seven or eight times and stayed in over a dozen hotels, I decided to give it a try this time. And after three days, my experience was absolutely perfect! 💯 First, let's talk about the service: From morning till night, the porters at the entrance would proactively open car doors, inquire about luggage, and help carry it. Even our driver commented on how excellent the hotel's service was. The front desk staff were also very dedicated, always accommodating requests and offering proactive assistance. Housekeeping cleaned the room twice a day, and the staff were polite and efficient, generously restocking water. Next, the environment: The hotel's environment is fantastic, with lush greenery everywhere. The design is layered and visually appealing, making it great for photos. I chose a room with a direct sea view, and the scenery was top-notch. The room amenities are eco-friendly, but also include a capsule coffee machine. There's a stunning, large infinity pool, as well as a regular pool where you can paddleboard, and even rooms with their own private pools. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and the tunnel leading there is quite scenic. As for dining: The breakfast buffet is very rich, with the bread selection being particularly outstanding. I'm not usually much of a bread eater, but I could taste the excellence of their bakery here. The iced coffee is also delicious, and they keep a large supply ready, so there's no waiting. Additionally, the hotel's 399 RMB hotpot for two, featuring 'Zao Po Cu' (a local sour and spicy hotpot), was incredibly tasty, fresh, and hygienic. It was even enough for three people, offering a wonderful dining experience without having to leave the hotel. Travel Photography: Many hotels in the past wouldn't proactively mention free travel photography unless you asked. Here, they informed us upfront and even helped us arrange it. The photographer was from 'Gelin,' and the young man was very patient, guiding our poses and diligently taking over a hundred photos in an hour. The preview images looked great, so we decided to purchase a package. It was a bit pricey, but the final photos turned out really well; it goes to show that you need a professional for these things. In summary, my child and I were very satisfied with our three-night stay. 🌺👍"
