"Huge, practical rooms with outstanding service! THE ROOMS & AMENITIES The rooms are incredibly spacious. We loved the huge living room to chill in after a day out. The bedrooms are large, and the balcony is huge. It has great conveniences like a fridge and a washing machine. Note that activating the kitchen stove requires an extra fee. LOCATION & FACILITIES The back of the hotel connects to a nice seaside walk (no sand) and is a very convenient 10-minute walk to the 1st night market. The lobby doesn't look quite as nice as its sister property next door (the Vignette), but they share facilities. The Vignette block houses the kids' indoor playground and a fancier pool. However, our block has its own well-equipped gym, a 24-hour spa, and a pool. A FEW QUIRKS The spare room has a shower, but the toilet is located outside, so you have to exit the room to use it. Also, there are no bidets and no delivery robots. STANDOUT SERVICE The service is incredible and more than makes up for the quirks. The front desk and butlers were super responsive and friendly. I could even WeChat them late into the night. They quickly provided bed guards, cutlery, a second clothes drying rack, and extra hangers upon request."

"We stayed for four nights and barely left the hotel. The twin beds in the room were both 1.5-meter wide, which was particularly great for families with children. We could also request laundry detergent and hangers, making it super convenient to dry clothes. There was a variety of pillows to choose from. The Royal Club's dining pretty much covered all our food and drink needs throughout the day. If you're not looking for gourmet meals, you won't go hungry from morning till night: breakfast until 11 am, afternoon tea from around 2 pm to past 4 pm, and dinner from what felt like 7 pm to 9 pm – you could really just keep eating. For a richer Chinese breakfast, Saffron offers Roujiamo, and for better views, head to the Royal Club on the 48th floor. But I truly want to recommend the Crab House – it was absolutely delicious! The curry, salted egg yolk, and signature preparations were all incredibly tasty! The kids' meal was also great. If you have the budget, don't hesitate. For entertainment, we spent every day at Aquaventure Waterpark! When we got tired, it was very convenient to just head back to the hotel to rest. We visited the Aquarium daily; the shows were plentiful, and the mermaid performance even brought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful. We never got tired of seeing all the marine life; we went to see 'Xiao Man' every day, it was so interesting! The dolphin show and C-show are both worth seeing. We were so busy playing that we didn't arrange for vacation photos. If they offered retouched photos, we might have been tempted, but with only original photos, we didn't want the hassle. The parking is free, and there's a shuttle bus to the lobby available at all times, which is very convenient. Our butler, the lovely Ms. Geng, was very thorough in her介绍. Thumbs up to her! This is our second time at Atlantis, and we still love it. Hope they continue to manage it well so we can visit again!"

"Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. It’s worth noting that the hotel caters primarily to Russian tourists, so much of the signage, tours and information are aimed at Russian guests. As an English speaker, this sometimes made things a little more difficult, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying my holiday. When I arrived, I had a couple of issues with my room. The hot tub took over an hour to fill, and the water wouldn’t stay warm while it was running, so I wasn’t really able to enjoy it. The charging ports in the room also weren’t working, although the hotel kindly provided me with an adapter, which solved that problem. Unfortunately, the hot tub issue was never resolved. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of food each morning. The swimming pool was also lovely—warm, clean and a great place to relax. My biggest concern was the fish spa. I initially thought seeing a dead fish was just a one-off, but I noticed dead fish in the spa every day during my stay. That made me question how well the spa was being maintained, and I hope the hotel looks into this. The staff were always kind, polite and helpful, and despite the few issues, I had a lovely stay overall. With a little more attention to maintenance, particularly in the fish spa and the hot tub, this hotel would be even better."

"I saw pictures online before coming and thought the sea view was beautiful, but I didn't expect to be so lucky! During my stay, the rain cleared up just in time, and the sea view from this hotel was absolutely stunning! Both the Yuehai Restaurant and the infinity pool offered incredible ocean views. The turquoise water, sandy beach, and coconut trees were super therapeutic and instantly brightened my mood. The room was also very spacious and airy, with a separate wet and dry area, and it was spotlessly clean. The mattress was just the right firmness, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were all friendly and polite. I ate well and slept well here; I give this experience a perfect score 💯! 🍽️ I particularly want to praise the hotel's dining – they truly understand what vacationers want! What surprised me the most was that the buffet breakfast was open until 1:30 PM! How friendly is that for late risers?! Plus, the restaurant's terrace has a super beautiful sea view. Eating breakfast while looking at the ocean was an amazing experience. The dining options were extremely rich and offered excellent value for money! The hotel had a wide variety of food choices, with plenty of options. I highly recommend the revolving BBQ buffet on the 5th floor! Not only was the ambiance great, but the food quality was exceptional. The freshness was visible (especially the freshly sliced beef, with its beautiful marbling). The sizzling grilled meat paired with lettuce was incredible! The seafood buffet and roast duck also looked very tempting. Being able to enjoy such high-value and high-quality meals at a resort hotel made me very satisfied!"

"Overall, for this price point, it's a very good hotel. The staff are friendly and the facilities are comprehensive. **Facilities:** The room amenities are excellent, with everything you could need. There's also a gym and a laundry room. The only thing to note about the laundry room is that it's very self-service. Unlike other hotels where staff transfer clothes between the washer and dryer, then package them up or deliver them to your room, here you have to monitor it yourself. **Hygiene:** It's quite clean, with no noticeable stains. **Environment:** The environment is pretty good. There's a restroom in the lobby, and the hallways are air-conditioned. The hotel's location is also good, though parking spaces are a bit limited. **Service:** The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and professional. If you need anything, a quick call will have it delivered to your room."

"This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right near the sea, making getting around a breeze. "This hotel is located within the forest park scenic area, which is very convenient for sightseeing. They also offer a dedicated shuttle service. While dining out isn't very convenient, you can order takeout, and the front desk will arrange for a car to deliver it right to your room. We were traveling with seniors and children, and the hotel thoughtfully suggested that the Jijiandi room type had many steps. They proactively moved us to the Fenghuangtai, which has a spacious private pool. Each room type is situated in its own independent area on the mountain, requiring a ride to access. For our baby's birthday, the hotel decorated the bed and even provided a cake – a very thoughtful touch! We experienced a distinct musty smell near the headboard due to the rain that day, which is understandable. It's a completely different experience than staying by the sea and definitely worth trying!"

"This time, with two friends, I chose the Hua Hai Ge Ocean View Twin Room at The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay, and the experience absolutely lived up to the 'Ritz-Carlton' name. Location and Views: The hotel is right in the heart of Yalong Bay. From the lobby, the sea is right before your eyes. The Chinese imperial garden design is grand yet relaxing. The Hua Hai Ge is in the closest proximity to the sea. We requested a direct ocean view room, and the staff kindly arranged it for us. Waking up and drawing the curtains to a panoramic blue ocean, then sitting on the terrace with tea, watching the sea, was incredibly pleasant. Room and Facilities: The twin room starts at over 60 square meters, with two 1.5-meter beds that were very spacious and not at all cramped. The room has a Chinese resort style, featuring double vanity sinks and an open-concept walk-in closet with great attention to detail. The balcony is wide, offering unobstructed sea views. Executive Lounge Privileges: The Hua Hai Ge comes with executive benefits. We checked in at the lounge, which had a very quiet ambiance. The five daily offerings, from afternoon tea to evening drinks, were high-quality and essentially saved us the cost of a main meal. It's perfect for a relaxed holiday. Service: Before arrival, our butler proactively contacted us with a hotel guide, and they were very responsive upon our arrival. Any daily necessities we needed were promptly delivered to the room after a quick call to the front desk. We could also order takeout to the entrance and have staff deliver it to our room. All staff members greeted us with smiles, making the overall experience very comfortable. Dining and Leisure: Breakfast was at the all-day dining restaurant. You must try the beef noodle soup; they are generous with the beef, and even two bowls weren't enough. The hotel has multiple pools, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. A post-dinner stroll along the beach was very enjoyable. If you're looking for a comfortable stay with sea views and hassle-free service in Yalong Bay, the Hua Hai Ge Twin Room is an excellent choice. I would consider staying here again."

"The hotel is conveniently located near Baihua Valley Commercial Street, making dining and shopping easy. There's a dedicated shuttle bus to the duty-free shop, and an airport shuttle for just 15 RMB per person, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and it's only a six or seven-minute walk to the beach. They even have little cats, which animal lovers will absolutely adore. My trip was very short this time, but I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Sanya. The value for money is exceptional."

"This hotel was originally just a one-night stopover, but the overall facilities, lounge, and room type turned out to be a pleasant surprise. In China, you probably won't find a JW Marriott at this price again. The hotel is located on a rocky beach in Dadonghai, without sand, but offering a different experience: mudflats foraging and swimming in the sea (there's a recessed, shallow area on the rocky beach in front of the hotel that's safer at low tide). The overall sea view isn't bad at all; one side offers a view of the curved Dadonghai beach, while the other faces the lighthouse. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with a long family pool and a shallow children's pool. Armbands and full-body swimming life jackets are provided free of charge, and there are even cylindrical holders for shoes. There are numerous lifeguards, strategically placed so that every blind spot of one lifeguard is covered by another. This is completely different from the setup at other five-star hotels in Sanya, and the pool closes at 10 PM, which received unanimous praise from my family. The outdoor open-air children's playground is similar; for younger children, the playground staff will even follow behind to supervise, truly demonstrating JW's high standards. We booked an executive sea-view room in the East Wing, a room type that directly faces the sunrise over Rabbit Tail Ridge. Plus, it has a huge balcony, instantly eliminating any feeling of a small room. Since we only stayed for one day, we couldn't experience many of the dining options. However, seeing the hotel selling egg pancakes for 15 RMB and refreshing Qingshubiang for 20 RMB, I immediately felt that the prices were accessible to the general public. The executive lounge's food could only be described as average Marriott quality (I suspect this might be due to the hotel's price point), but it's one of the few resort hotels that even has an executive lounge. The breakfast experience was excellent, with stewed soups, JW noodles, numerous egg preparations, fermented grain vinegar, sour noodles, Hou'an noodles, and various fresh juices. Among the three hotels we stayed at in Sanya, this was the lowest-priced hotel, yet it had the highest breakfast standards. The service was excellent overall. Whether it was the lounge attendant helping us with a last-minute room change (and getting us a room with a large balcony), or the front desk staff running out to find the mini-train because my child wanted to ride it when it was almost closing time, or the proactive luggage service and reminders from our butler Una, it all truly met the high standards of a luxury five-star hotel! Some suggestions: 1. The open space on the large balcony could really benefit from some decorations and lounge chairs; I think it would enhance the resort feel. 2. Stronger signage is needed from the East Wing to the West Wing breakfast area. It's quite hard to find since you have to take an elevator. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Aside from the lack of a sandy beach, this is a high-standard, high-value-for-money resort hotel!"
