The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel has a great overall ambiance, though its location is a bit inconvenient, being some distance from the MTR station. However, the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The dim sum and Chinese set meals at Jade restaurant were exceptionally delicious, and the service there was excellent. The rooms were also very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Reception staff not nice. Just assign a room for you and hand the key card without giving any helpful information. But can see them foreigner more attentive and polite. As we are first time here and don’t know the first number of the key is the tower no. (Hotel has 3 towers) so we need to ask other resident and get a bit lost to find the room.
Room with good view and bed is comfortable. Cleaning staff are very kind. However, the main shower head is broken so for all 6 nights using the ceiling shower only.
Its is closed to ocean park and MTR station so its convenient to reach HK island side.
Breakfast is ok. Variety of food. But the last day of our stay we encounter rude female canteen staff (may be more busy day so seems not patient and grumpy towards elderly or children) overall other staffs are fine.
Swimming pool is closed due to maintenance.
Overall need to maintenance staff’s attitude and standard.

JJERRY DUAN2026.03.02
Traveling all the way from Changzhou, Jiangsu, it was my first time in Hong Kong, and I decided to give Nina Hotel Island South a try. To my surprise, I received a warmth that far exceeded my expectations.
For the first two nights, I stayed in a Superior City Room. Although it didn't have an external window due to Hong Kong's urban planning, the room was spacious and bright. The ventilation system and air conditioning worked wonderfully, so there was no stuffiness at all. The king-size bed was large and soft; once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. I had a great night's sleep and a particularly comfortable stay.
On the third night, due to my booking, I was moved to a newly renovated Superior Room. Upon entering, I noticed a rather strong renovation smell, and later, there was a minor issue with no hot water in the shower. I contacted the front desk just to see what they could do, and they immediately arranged a room change, which already made me very satisfied. What was even more heartwarming was that after we moved rooms, the Guest Services Manager proactively approached us and offered to upgrade us to a room with a balcony for ventilation – throughout the entire process, we hadn't asked for any compensation. This proactive consideration was truly unexpected and touching.
We politely declined the upgrade and casually asked if they could offer us breakfast for four. The manager agreed without hesitation, saying, ”Absolutely no problem.” This unexpected thoughtfulness felt like a spring breeze, dispelling any initial apprehension. The hotel's service goes beyond just solving problems; it's about proactive empathy, and it made my first impression of Hong Kong exceptionally wonderful because of this warmth. Next time I visit, this will still be my first choice.

This was my first time staying at the South Nest and I thought it was great, and easy to find. Of course, getting five-star service in Hong Kong at this price point is impossible, but I think this hotel offers excellent value for money in Hong Kong. Plus, many buses go directly to Central.

Many “wow” factors from my stay on 21–22 March. I was lucky to receive a room upgrade and the room was incredibly spacious. The receptionist was very welcoming and every staff member showed genuine hospitality. The shuttle driver was also very polite. Even when I requested for late check-out at 12:00, they were happy to accommodate.
I would definitely return—this is the only hotel in Hong Kong that truly impressed me for this time. Compared to the other hotels I stayed at during this trip. This was the perfect way to end my last night in HK
The hotel is very convenient with easy access to shopping areas via the shuttle service and there is also a tram station located close to the hotel if you will go central area

The Emperor Hotel is the flagship store of the Emperor Group in Hong Kong. The design is fashionable and novel, the layout is luxurious and comfortable, and the high-quality service is more personalized. Located in the prosperous heartland of Causeway Bay and Wan Chai on the Hong Kong Island for food, entertainment, shopping and business, the location is superior and the transportation is convenient.
In addition to providing comfortable and exquisite rooms and suites, the Emperor Hotel also has a variety of dining options, including the award-winning famous Michelin star Chuanyue Restaurant "Junjing Xuan". Our Monkey Cafe where the taste buds bloom and the top-floor lounge “The Crown” overlooking the charming night view of the city are great for wine.
GGuest User2026.02.10
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Emperor hotel in Wan Chai — the location is perfect, it’s walking distance from the hustle of Causeway Bay yet the immediate surroundings are pretty calm and quiet
the room is clean, shower amenities are of good quality, the bed is comfortable, there was no need to insert the key card to turn on the electricity, AND there was ample room between the bed and the wall, so it was easy to pack (or, rather, cram everything into our suitcases), which is not very frequent in Hong Kong for rooms in this price range
btw, the staff was super friendly and helpful: we left a passport in the room, we’d already arrived at the airport when we received a message from the hotel about the passport — they did their best to help us in such an unpleasant situation, and, luckily, the passport was delivered on time and we weren’t late for our flight

I have visited Hong Kong many times and stayed at a wide range of hotels, but my experience at Urbanwood Hotel truly stood out because of the exceptional service from the front desk staff, Benson.
From the moment I arrived, Benson was incredibly friendly, warm, and approachable. He was very talkative in a pleasant way, making the check-in process not only smooth but also genuinely enjoyable. His professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding, and it was clear that he takes his job very seriously while still making guests feel welcome and comfortable.
Honestly, Benson provided the best front desk service I have ever experienced, even compared to all the hotels I have stayed in before. His positive attitude and excellent service left a very strong impression on me and made my stay at Urbanwood Hotel even better.
I would like to sincerely commend Benson for his hard work and dedication. He is a true asset to the hotel, I would definitely choose to stay here again because of staff like him.

The hotel's location is good, on Hennessy Road and not far from Wan Chai MTR station. There are also 'ding ding' trams nearby, making it quite convenient for getting around. The hotel environment is just average. On the first night of my two-day stay, the 3rd floor was particularly noisy with strange sounds, and I barely slept. The second day, I was moved to the 15th floor, and there were no issues, so overall it was okay. I checked in quite late and checked out early, but I guess that's common for hotels in Hong Kong! It's great that you can store your luggage for the whole day. I'd say it's comparable to a 3-star hotel in mainland China.

I wanted to cancel my reservation due to personal reasons, but the hotel wouldn't allow it, not even if I offered to pay half. Oh well. This hotel simply can't compare to their sister property next door.
The room was a bit bigger, but it's clearly a step down in quality. Plus, breakfast was just a boxed meal.
The location, however, is pretty good; there's a tram stop right outside.

January 11-12, 2026 - Hong Kong's popway Hotel in Wan Chai.
Stayed for one night for the convenience of shopping in Causeway Bay. In Hong Kong, the transportation here is quite convenient, not far from the subway station, and there are many dining options around. It's best to ask for directions using the street number from different subway exits, as map navigation isn't always accurate. The accommodation environment is very average; the room is too small for three beds, making it quite cramped. However, the bathroom is spacious, and the layout is decent. The service attitude was good.

Good
HHeizhimahenxiangWe were assigned a king-size bed room, even though I'd requested a twin room in the booking notes. The front desk staff was alright, and we understood that with it being Chinese New Year, they probably had a lot of guests and couldn't fulfill all requests. I asked for an extra duvet, but they could only provide a blanket, which was clean enough. Breakfast was quite basic, but they did change up a few items every day. You could hear doors opening and closing in the adjacent rooms, but the soundproofing seemed decent otherwise. It's very close to Wan Chai MTR station Exit C, and getting to and from the airport on the A11 bus was convenient. We even got to experience the ding-ding trams. There are quite a few bars around, so I wouldn't recommend returning to the room too late.
GGuest UserIt offers the luxury quality you'd expect from a Mid-levels residence, and we even got a room upgrade! It's right next to the Zoological and Botanical Gardens, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Just a heads-up, the walk downhill requires a bit of stamina, but it's very close to Queen's Road.
GGuest UserLocation is unbeatable. I came from Shenzhen via high speed rail and hotel is just a short taxi ride away from. West Kowloon Station. It is also very near to Yau Ma Tei MTR station (which can get me to Central area easily). I especially like the fact that hotel is next to an Airport Bus station (1min away). Great for travellers with lots of luggage. Cost 34.50 hkd. Just a tip, try to hop on the bus before typical check out time at 12pm. I boarded the bus at 12.20pm and I was lucky enough to get a seat. Some who boarded after my stop had to stand.
There are lots of shopping options and restaurants along Nathan Road. I especially like the Pistachio Tarts from The One bakery 2 mins walk away. It is heavenly.
Room wise I like the special touches. Like the soap with Pu er sent and the furry slippers. Hotel is also very new and space wise I think it's just nice for me. Highly recommend.
GGuest UserThe service was excellent! The cleaning lady was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. She was super efficient and just a wonderful person 👍. The handsome gentleman with the longer fringe and white shirt at the front desk helped me check in. He respected my request and gave me the room key an hour early, which was very efficient 👍. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel. The location is also superb. It's convenient to get anywhere, with a tram stop just a short walk from the entrance. There are plenty of food and drink options in Tai Hang, just a few minutes' walk away. The views are also great. Getting to the hiking trails takes only 10 minutes by bus.
LLingchuanwangxianzhiExcellent location! Right outside Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, and only a 200-meter walk to the Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour, and Victoria Harbour. There are tons of great food options and convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Sasa nearby. The room was clean, well-ventilated, and comfortable, and the price is usually quite good too.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is located in a relatively quiet corner of the TST hot spot near the ISquare/Harbour City, it is relatively hard to miss the impressive front door of the black marble looking exteriors. Check-in is Very smooth, cash deposit are required but easily done. For the first time staying of this hotel i’ve requested a higher level room and a quiet corner, which happens to be 11th (top level except roof common area).
Room is as advertised ,very spacious and clean looking (typical wear and tears of material aging is expected but doesn’t looks gross).
for visitors that enjoys their own balcony view it is better to ask ahead if the room assigned has it, for me although it was a room that didn’t which is fine, but the eye catch is the toilet - bath tub and the shower is separated which allows flexibility for both type of bath time enjoyers too, those whom need longer stays and/or like taking long bath in a tub will enjoy the big tubs, but the overhead ceiling shower is just as great for morning refreshers.
bed had its own smaller TV screen with wall mounted extend arms for lazy watching which is great if you’re relaxing while enjoying the Victoria harbour view from the window, but also a living room bigger tv , although the downside is sometimes the remote will controls both units at the same time, so nighttime tv bingeing becareful of volume bursts from a different tv.
room air conditioning is room self-controlled - the panel is right next to the main TV so for travelers that is sensitive to temperature differences is a plus, as you don’t have to worry centralized air con streaming cold airs in cooler days or during sleep, you had the control at your own hand.
only things that may be worth considering is that the room is wood tiled - occasional cracks from old tiles misaligned can occur when you step on it so if your roommates are light sleepers and prone to awakening from noises, that could be a problem.
also while unfortunate as it is during festive times and beyond hotel controls, noise can be excessive if there neighboring room(s) are booked by party goers or occupants had returned drunk. as the hall noise is very auditable.
security is standard where after 6pm it requires your room keycards to access lifts and the hotel doors as well.
A small but noteworthy point is the gym at 6th floor and their rooftops- technically on the 12th floor, the roof is a fairly open area with a limited but still great view of the Victoria harbour amidst the neibouring buildings that is 2-3 rows away from the harbour side. while not certain is it remained open overnight as long as accessing with keycards, it is great for the city view. however not recommended for people with Fear of heights- as glass barriers are only to waist levels that can be easily lean over. also the rooftops lift indicator is not as visible/auditable while waiting for it arrivals, so if the single lift that can reach the rooftop is out of services it may become unavailable , or if unlucky you might be locked out.
overall it is a surprisingly fair price but great accommodation choices, while noise concerns can be servere if you happen to be unlucky when other floor occupants go berserk, but surrounding areas noise is not intense even it is next to Kowloon Park Drive intersection ramp just 1 block away.
GGuest UserThe location is far from the MTR (subway). You have to take a shuttle bus or a regular bus, and getting to other places requires multiple transfers; there's no direct route. This might be inconvenient for tourists traveling into the city as it involves several changes of transport. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas. The front desk service is good, friendly, and helpful. However, the housekeeping staff was good for the first two nights, but on the last night, they didn't clea3n the room despite the sign clearly hung outside requesting cleaning.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: The room was small but had everything I needed, making me feel very secure! I really liked it.
Hygiene: Very clean, satisfied.
Environment: The hotel's interior is beautifully decorated, and there's a lounge area next to the front desk where you can enjoy free coffee. It's also a very quick walk to Prince Edward MTR station.
Service: The service was excellent, not at all unfriendly towards guests as some negative reviews claimed. I was a bit worried after seeing those bad reviews before coming, but it turns out the front desk staff were very nice and patient.
GGuest UserExcellent stay! The front desk lady was incredibly helpful; she saw us with large luggage and proactively offered to assist. We even left a necklace behind when checking out, and she kindly left a note to remind us. The room was compact but well-equipped. Most importantly, the hotel's location is fantastic – a mere 200 meters from the subway station. Downstairs, the area is bustling with snack shops, a McDonald's, and local 'bing sutt' style cafes. The price is reasonable, and unlike some older tenement buildings, the hotel isn't rundown. The corridors were also quite clean and well-maintained. The only drawback is the lack of an elevator, but that was manageable. Overall, a very pleasant two-night stay. I would definitely choose this place again on my next visit because it's such great value for money, especially at just over HKD 300 per night during the August peak season. I genuinely recommend it to anyone on a budget!
BBOSS_liuBeyond expectations, truly satisfied! First off, the location is great – not far from the city center, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. If you don't want to take a mini-bus, the 42A will take you directly to Mong Kok. Secondly, the room facilities are very clean. It's small but has everything you need, and you can even see Central in the distance from the room. Downstairs there's a large pier. The front desk staff were also very thoughtful; communication in Mandarin was seamless, and their attitude was excellent. This hotel hosts people from many different countries, and there's a small mall on the basement level, making grocery shopping and dining very convenient. This is my second time in Hong Kong, and I'm very happy with my stay here! 👍🏻
