This hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town. Its Wabi-sabi style decor is tasteful and chic, and the quality truly rivals hotels that cost 2,000 RMB a night. My friend and I stayed for two nights and we honestly didn't want to check out. We've already promised each other we'll come back to Shangri-La just for this hotel. Hope it continues to thrive!

On the way to the hotel, we passed by so many horse farms and prayer flags! It was super crowded! Today we checked into Qingyu! Upon entering, there's a big courtyard! The owner's dog came to greet us! Very affectionate. Qingyu has a front and back courtyard, with plenty of spots for photos, and the back courtyard even has prayer flags! It's super photogenic! The coffee shop in the back courtyard is backed by a snow-capped mountain 🏔️, giving you that feeling of being at the foot of a snowy mountain, with expansive views and nothing else in sight! The hotel also has many ethnic costumes available for free use! And if you don't know how to wear them, the owner will help you! The 'little shop assistants' are also very enthusiastic! The scenery is truly beautiful!

This hotel is conveniently located right by the East Gate of Dukezong Ancient City. It's super easy to catch the shuttle bus to the scenic spots – just cross the street! While it's a little bit of a walk to the main ancient city area, that actually makes it quieter, which is great for a good night's sleep. The front desk offers a bunch of handy items, even heated eye masks. There's a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes, and they even provide a thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service, which is very convenient. The breakfast selection is quite diverse too. Our room was clean and tidy, and it came with dispersed oxygen, which was a nice touch. Overall, it's a pretty good place to stay.

Initially, I saw some negative reviews saying the owner had a bad attitude, which made me hesitate to book. But I really liked the design of the place, so I went ahead and booked it. After checking in, I found their service to be absolutely perfect. Our Shangri-La trip was quite rushed. We arrived for check-in close to midnight, and someone was still waiting for us. They were also worried we wouldn't find the place, so they came out to guide us, helped us with our luggage, and even offered us ginger tea. They showed us to our room and turned on the dehumidifier and oxygen generator for us. The hotel rooms are incredibly spacious, and they even provide disposable towels and bathtub liners. The next morning during check-out, it might have been the owner's mother who cheerfully told us to stay a few more days and offered us water and snacks. Our stay during the trip was incredibly warm and welcoming! If I ever come back to Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again! (This is a genuinely good review!!!)

A perfect stay for those seeking peace and relaxation. The hotel offers stunning mountain and meadow views, with beautiful walking paths and scenery similar to Heidou Café nearby. Guests receive a voucher for a complimentary Americano and cookies at the café (other menu items are available with a small top-up). The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel also provides convenient shuttle service to and from the railway station. Didi rides are easy to book, and the Old Town is only about 20 minutes away. A Warm Home in Shangri-La - Definitely Choose Wufan Shanjian! The luckiest choice of my trip to Shangri-La was definitely Wufan Shanjian Light Luxury Homestay, and the biggest surprise was meeting the owner couple, a local ******* pair. The simplicity and enthusiasm unique to Tibetans in them filled the entire journey with warmth. From the moment we landed, we were surrounded by their thoughtfulness: they not only took the initiative to pick us up at the high-speed railway station but also carefully reminded us not to rush to take a bath just after arriving on the plateau and to remember to turn on the oxygen concentrator at night. A family member traveling with us had a bit of altitude sickness, and the landlady Zhuoma immediately brought Coke and glucose to relieve the discomfort. In the evening, she specially brought warm yak milk and fresh grapes. Even the child kept saying that Aunt Zhuoma was as kind as family. The husband was simple and enthusiastic. When he saw that we had trouble parking, he immediately helped park the car without hesitation, so we didn't have to worry at all. When we wanted to find delicious skewers or plan the route around Napahai, they could always give the most authentic suggestions and even recommend reliable stores, which were more useful than the strategies we made. The environment of the homestay is impeccable. As a person with a bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder about cleanliness, the cleanliness here completely exceeded expectations - the rooms are bright and tidy, the bed sheets and quilt covers have no peculiar smell at all, and even the bathroom is cleaned spotlessly. The facilities are also very considerate, with full-house floor heating and smart devices. The oxygen concentrator by the bed can automatically adjust the oxygen concentration, completely solving the worry about sleeping on the plateau. What's more surprising is that the location is in the center of the ancient town, only a three-minute walk to the prayer wheel, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. During the few days staying here, I was moved by the details every day: free down jackets and umbrellas, pre-prepared moisturizing masks, hot breakfast in the morning, and even after leaving, when we found that we had forgotten something, the boss would carefully send it back. This kind of warmth that is not family but better than family made the beauty of Shangri-La more concrete. Next time I come, I will definitely stay here again!

When I came to Shangri-La, I originally wanted to stay at Songtsam Linka, but then I saw a photo of the Ritzman's grassland view from the window and immediately changed my booking. I stayed for three days. I haven't really stayed in many B&Bs, and if I'm being honest, the room was a bit cramped. There wasn't enough space to pack my luggage. Also, it's a bit out of the way, so I couldn't order takeout. However, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and enthusiastic, and they offered breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup. The aged tangerine peel red bean soup one evening was particularly delicious. Most importantly, there were many small animals on the ranch, especially two little donkeys that my son absolutely adored. Every morning, as soon as he woke up, he wanted to go see and feed the donkeys. It was a very satisfying trip.

This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything! The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community. The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous. My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters). The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station. I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life. Thanks again, and Tashi Delek !

This hotel was a super pleasant surprise on my trip, and even though I rarely write reviews, I have to leave a good one! Service: Friendly and proactive, they even helped with my luggage. Facilities: I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the room – smart toilet, smart curtains, very new. They said it was renovated last year, and it really looks just like the promotional pictures!! Location: It’s also well-located, reachable by bus from the old town.

Out of the ten-odd hotels we booked for our graduation trip with the kids, this is the one we least wanted to leave and felt we didn't stay long enough at! It truly exceeded our expectations! I never imagined a guesthouse could be far superior to a five-star hotel. The service, hygiene, and overall tidiness were all absolutely perfect 💯. Upon check-out, they even gave us a very high-class souvenir, surpassing what you'd get at Banyan Tree, Jumeirah, or Huazhu Group hotels! We booked the 'Cave Room,' and while it didn't have mountain views, it had a wonderfully cozy, cocoon-like feel, like sleeping inside an eggshell, with a balcony and an interior view. A particularly delightful surprise was their dining; though not cheap, the Western food was very authentic, and the Chinese dishes were delicious. The complimentary 'goodnight sweet soup,' a 'glutinous rice ball, peach gum, and white fungus soup,' was truly exceptional! Staying at this place is a real treat for anyone traveling by car. Its most photogenic spot is the café, with its absolutely massive floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows. The hotel also boasts a gym, an infinity cliffside pool, and a glass skywalk – it genuinely has all the elements you could wish for. After visiting Tiger Leaping Gorge, it's just a 20-minute drive to the hotel's free parking lot. Enjoy a cup of coffee and the mountain views from an outdoor seat, listening to the Jinsha River 'sing' – the rainy season ambiance is just perfect. Highly recommended for road trippers; don't miss it if you're in the area!
