We had an amazing stay this time! First of all, the ocean views from the hotel are unbeatable. We were lucky to have clear, sunny weather, and the sea and sky blended into a brilliant, crystal-clear blue! You can watch the sunrise right from your room's small balcony or take a walk down to the seawall. The hotel has an innovative design—the front desk is on the top floor, and the rooms cascade downwards, meaning every single room faces the ocean. Everywhere you look is a picturesque view, perfect for taking photos, and just completely relaxing. The swimming pool is clean and beautiful, and I loved it! I also brought two elderly family members who are in their 80s, and the young staff members took such attentive care of them over the two days. We had a wonderful time! A fantastic hotel that I highly recommend!

Honestly, the service team was so inconsistent it was speechless, with too many frustrating examples to list 😅. The concierge downstairs was excellent, and the lobby front desk staff were professional and good. However, the room attendants seemed quite young, possibly untrained, and their compensation might be average. They were completely clueless about the binoculars, laundry service, and minibar 😅. The male staff at the fitness center were very enthusiastic and provided professional and thorough guidance. But the changing room cleaner, an old man, would work right next to you, silently trying to shoo you away, and when asked a question, his tone was sarcastic… My companion mentioned that the female attendants were bad, ignoring her and chatting/playing on their phones nearby. I also observed the same situation during my visit 😅. The afternoon tea at the lounge was quite sparse (though it seemed better for foreigners**), but the evening service and food quality were excellent and attentive. Overall, if I hadn't been unable to book at Dongwan, I wouldn't have bothered going here. Every staff member at breakfast was professional, thumbs up. Some facilities in the executive room were showing their age; the minibar had a rusty smell 😂, likely due to prolonged disuse without replacement, but the room attendant was still enthusiastic. The hallway carpet was old, and the air freshener had an unsettling, somewhat rancid smell. Overall, for 5k a night, it felt worse than some 2k-3k-a-night hotels. To an NPC, this is the most disappointing fan I've ever stayed at. Now I understand why my boss specifically said not to sign a contract with this place.

I first learned about Mandarin Oriental because of Leslie Cheung, and since the Guangzhou property happened to be quite reasonably priced, I booked a one-night stay to experience it. Let's start with the pros: The location is fantastic. It's right above Shipaiqiao Metro Station, with direct access to the hotel from the ground floor of Taikoo Hui. There are all kinds of shopping malls surrounding it, and it's not far from the Guangdong Museum, Canton Tower, and the Guangzhou Museum of Art. The young ladies at the front desk were very warm and greeted us with bright smiles. They promptly changed our room and even helped us with the elevator. There are soft stools inside the elevators, which are convenient for placing bags or for elderly guests to sit on. The room layout is quite regular, the mattress is comfortable, the linens are clean, and they didn't trigger any allergies. The curtains are button-operated and provide great blackout coverage. The bathtub comes with bath salts (though I'd suggest adding disposable bathtub liners). The welcome fruit was varied and tasted great. Now for the cons: The soundproofing in the room is poor. The TV and voices from next door were very clear (the woman next door must have been like a lawyer, talking loudly for hours into the night). There are way too many mirrors in both the lobby and the rooms, making it a bit easy to get disoriented. The body lotion is in a large pump bottle fixed to the vanity, which is inconvenient to use and impossible to take home as a souvenir. The tea is bagged; I'd recommend adding large ceramic mugs with handles or offering loose-leaf tea. Only canned mineral water is provided—it would be better to add bottled water specifically for making tea. All the drinks in the fridge are chargeable; nowadays people care about health and don't drink that many anyway, so they could stock fewer cans and offer them to guests for free. Finally, the highlight was the breakfast. Both the Chinese and Western kitchens were authentic—I polished off two bottles of yogurt alone. If you have time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, you should definitely book a room here.

The bathroom features a wet-and-dry separation design and is fully stocked with amenities. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the breakfast offers a good variety with consistent quality. Room service is responsive, and housekeeping cleans on schedule to keep the room tidy. Overall, the management is professional with no hidden or extra charges. The service is polite and unobtrusive, avoiding any unnecessary disturbance. The hardware is well-maintained with minimal signs of wear and tear. It's ideal for both short business trips and extended stays. Those who value reliability and a hassle-free experience can book with confidence. I've already bookmarked this hotel and will make it my top choice for future business trips.

The Eastonton Hotel in Guangzhou boasts elegant and grand decor. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The facilities are comprehensive, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and the location is convenient. Overall, it was a very good stay with excellent value for money. I would consider this hotel again for future visits to Guangzhou.

I know this hotel is undergoing renovations, and some packages for the new room types even include lounge access and five meals a day, which offers excellent value for money! First, regarding the room, the newly renovated style is minimalist and refined. The room feels very spacious and has excellent natural light. The bathroom amenities include Diptyque shampoo, shower gel, and lotion, which was a very pleasant touch. Next, concerning the dining, the five meals included afternoon tea, happy hour, evening dessert and drinks after check-in, and breakfast and lunch on the second day. The afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. Although the food selection for happy hour wasn't extensive, it focused on quality over quantity. I didn't get to enjoy the late-night dessert session, but I learned that it was a chocolate-themed dessert night, and the themes are updated regularly. It's worth noting that no matter when you dine, you can enjoy unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Finally, I'd like to commend the hotel's service. All the staff I encountered during this stay were extremely polite and friendly. Especially Miss Sahar at the front desk, the check-in process was very smooth and efficient, and she even followed up afterward to see if I needed any assistance. A male staff member in the lounge also provided very professional service, always greeting us with a warm smile every time we entered the lounge for a meal. Overall, my experience during this stay was excellent, and I look forward to visiting again after the full renovation!

After checking in, the lobby had a pleasant fragrance, the environment was quite nice, and the cleanliness was also very good. The location is also in the city center, in Jiuzhou City, not too far from City Balcony. The breakfast taste and variety were both satisfactory. Now for some downsides: perhaps the hotel's positioning leans towards business travelers, as it feels very unfriendly for families with children. In summer, with more sweating and frequent clothing changes, the entire hotel lacks a self-service laundry room, offering only a pay-per-item laundry service. There aren't many parking spaces in the hotel, and during holidays, there might not be enough room. Additionally, other than the pool and gym, there are no other facilities, and the pool is cold, not temperature-controlled. There's no children's play area. Parking requires scanning a code every 24 hours, so for multi-night stays, you have to scan it daily.

While there might be brief crowd control measures during peak holiday periods, it doesn't affect the overall experience. The gym is fully equipped and spotlessly clean, perfect for daily workouts. The water quality in the indoor heated pool is excellent, and the temperature is just right, making it wonderful for both swimming and playing in the water. The Hengqin Bay Water Park is extremely fun with a rich variety of water attractions suitable for visitors of all ages. The guest rooms are spacious with a well-designed layout; the bedding is soft, comfortable, and ensures a great night's sleep. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, fully stocked with toiletries, and boast excellent soundproofing for a peaceful night's rest. The hotel offers diverse dining options, and the buffet features a bountiful and delicious selection that caters to various dietary needs. The complimentary shuttle bus runs between the hotel and all major Chimelong parks, making getting around completely hassle-free. Service across all departments is attentive, housekeeping is thorough, and any requests are addressed promptly. With top-notch hardware and software, this hotel delivers a fantastic resort experience. Whether you're traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends, it is an absolute top choice when visiting Chimelong in Zhuhai.

Took advantage of the holiday for a short family getaway, and overall, the experience was fantastic. The resort grounds are lush with vegetation, offering charming views at every turn during a leisurely stroll—it’s a delight to explore. The guest room was spacious, meticulously cleaned, and all facilities were well-maintained, making for a very reassuring stay. The photographer from Xiaowan Photography was great at setting a lively mood and excelled at capturing natural, heartwarming moments between family members; even the unedited raw photos turned out wonderful. Our butler, Sini, was exceptionally thoughtful, responding promptly to all our requests. We left in a rush at check-out, and she even helped arrange to have our left-behind clothes shipped to us—thank you so much! The whole family had a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable time. It was a truly delightful short vacation, and I sincerely recommend it.

Excellent stay! The soundproofing and bathroom hygiene were all great. I left a water bottle behind, and the staff were so thoughtful and kept it safe for me for a long time. I'm truly grateful; that water bottle means a lot to me. The warmth and kindness of the hotel staff made my heart feel even warmer. It was truly wonderful. I didn't take many photos or videos of the hotel, so I'll just share a few random ones. Also, the airport transfer was perfectly on time; we left promptly at 6 AM. Absolutely fantastic!
