"My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The hotel's decor is luxurious and stylish, and the common areas are spacious and elegant. The room was clean and tidy with excellent natural light, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the facilities were top-notch. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient, and they were very responsive to any requests. Overall, the cleanliness was excellent, the breakfast was varied and plentiful, and it offered great value for money."

If I can, I will give 10 stars. Their service is top notch! Excellent! Very happy with all the warm hospitality. Free shuttle to and from disneyland, to zhoupu metro for unlimited times (the staff xiao yan even gave my kids snacks! Thank you!). Free gifts for my kids when we checked out, got candies when we checked in (for the second time). I needed mineral water late night, they directly sent it to my room. I stayed here for 3 nights then go to harbin then come back to stay here again. They helped me to keep my luggage while I'm in harbin. Their laundry service helped me a lot! They prepared my early breakfast before I go to airport in the morning. Many more to describe. But one thing for sure, if I go to shanghai again in the future, I'll choose this hotel. I've a great time staying here. Thank you so much for all the staffs. (ALL. I mean it. Sorry I can't tell the name, but you are all worked great! Thank you so much for the staff that helped me to wait didi in front of hotel early in the morning. Although it's very cold, he kept standing in front of the hotel waiting for us to go first. I appreciate it). Comunication with them is very easy, using we chat. Keep up the great work!

The location is very good, just next to IFC mall and some shopping centres nearby. We stayed for 3 nights for our anniversary and the staff upgraded us to a room facing the Bund view. The room is nice, spacious and clean. Special thanks to Rosy for taking care of our needs and bringing us a delicious cake to celebrate. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay and we will be staying in Ritz Carlton again when we come to Shanghai.

The Design of the hotel is fantastic. Leaning towards modern contemporary. Hotel breakfast variety not bad, staff very attentive. Room cleanliness very good. Location likewise currently a little awkward not many restaurants choice around. However, 10mins to the Bund. Nevertheless, if I am offer another chance I will return again.

I’ve been visiting The Peninsula for a decade, and it’s a magnificent hotel. The location is brilliant, the indoor pool is one of the best in the world, the spa team is phenomenal. Yet on this recent visit, the service, while quite good, wasn’t the sort of impeccable, seamless joy one hopes for: the early staffing for breakfast was limited, without a dedicated host to welcome and seat guests; I realize it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, but a twenty minute wait just to be able to order room service is a bit much; over half of the deserts on the menu were unavailable. The room is wonderfully comfortable as always, fantastic housekeeping and amenities—I do hope they can get back to the very high bar they’ve set for themselves across all of their hotels. Plus truly stunning views if you’re in a river view room.

booked a room at the Banyan tree for my parents who were visiting to celebrate their wedding anniversary and upon check in we were greeted by the most lovely staff who quickly helped my parents check in and upgraded us for free to a nicer room. It also had prepared Rose petals within the room and some desserts to celebrate their wedding anniversary which was very appreciated. The room was unbelievable and the view alone made the whole experience worth it. My parents absolutely loved their stay and couldn’t stop raving about the service of all the workers as well. we had some items that my family were unsure if we could bring onto flight, and the hotel staff even went out of their way to call the airline to confirm for us. hotel amenities also great, huge gym and pool with multiple spas, and gym having a reformer pilates machine too. we’ve been to many hotels within shanghai now and this is by far the best , with strong service, a modern room and incredible view. all the photos of the view in the review were taken from within the room, better than going out to the bund!

It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my Meituan food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!

We had a wonderful stay at the Andaz in Shanghai, made even better by the exceptional service we received from Lynn at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Lynn went out of her way to assist us with our room and check-in, communicating clearly and confidently in English, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The hotel is ideally located, close to restaurants, shops, and some of Shanghai’s most exciting attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, a true retreat after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and high standard of service truly stood out. Thank you, Lynn, for your kindness and professionalism. You made our stay at the Andaz unforgettable. We had a King room on 33rd floor facing the Jing'an Tempel, quite a nice view. Staff at the front desk, room service and in the spa area are nice, friendly and helpful, check-in and out was very quick Room is a bit outdated but was well maintained. The bed was very huge and comfy, I especially liked the pillows. Gym is well equipped and the machines work well. Pool and Spa were very clean and enjoyable. In my opinion the Kunlun offers great value for the money.
