"The price is great and it has everything you need. I used the washing machine and garment steamer, and the front desk helped me receive many deliveries – the service was truly excellent. The bedding was also very good. The suite was spacious, perfect for organizing large luggage. It's not too far from anywhere. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming."

"I really liked the hotel's design, and the cleanliness and service were also great. The only surprise was that I thought it was within walking distance from the train station, but it actually took over ten minutes. If you have a large suitcase, you'll definitely need a taxi, like I did.
However, I still highly recommend this hotel because their breakfast is absolutely amazing. The variety is richer than any 4-star or quasi-4-star hotel I've ever stayed in. Even though I'm not a breakfast person, I set an alarm to make sure I went. It's absolutely fantastic value for money!"

GGuest UserBianca was incredibly thoughtful and organized! She proactively asked about any special requests I might have and even sent a welcome fruit platter. Her attitude and service were absolutely top-notch! The doorman kindly took my luggage all the way to my room, which was a huge help. The room had massive floor-to-ceiling windows, and the bar on the fourth floor of the hotel was also great.

LliathanongA relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable.
We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up.
We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists.
It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well.
Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

GGuest UserHello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends.
P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

GGuest UserWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The pool and the hot spring area were fantastic – perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. One of the highlights for me was definitely the garden: it is huge, beautifully green, and incredibly peaceful. It’s the perfect place to slow down and truly relax.
The food was also excellent, with a great variety and very high quality.
What stood out the most, however, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful – whether it was housekeeping, the restaurant team, the lounge staff, or the reception. The hotel is also very foreigner-friendly, and communication in English was smooth and easy at all times.
I would especially like to highlight the receptionist Kaia, who took care of us throughout our entire stay. She was always available via WeChat, answered all our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed!
Thank you for such a great experience – we definitely want to come back

The front desk staff were so patient and attentive. The room layout was well-designed and spacious. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing, and the environment was absolutely top-notch. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, a feast for the eyes! You can stay, eat, splash around in the shallow pools, and enjoy a comfortable hot spring soak. It was just so enjoyable!

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed.
First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.
However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs.
The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options.
A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests.
A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level.
Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

If you're not a fan of overly bustling and crowded places, this is the perfect choice.
Maple Inn – I've stayed at their Sanxingdui branch in Guanghan before, and had a great experience as it's quite stylish.
This hotel is decorated predominantly in peacock blue, embodying a Yunnan regional style.
The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, and the service was excellent and proactive.
As a Diamond member and a influencer with millions of followers, I received an appropriate room upgrade.
The room, as always, was stylish, spacious, and comfortable to sleep in. The soundproofing was also quite good.
However, the one area that needs improvement is breakfast.
1. The noodle chef was rather curt, and there were very few toppings. The dried mushrooms and meat sauce were not refilled once they ran out.
2. There was a limited selection of hot dishes. When I went around 9 AM, most of them were already nearly empty.
This was the most disappointing part of my stay. I hope to see improvements next time. Still, I can give it five stars; it's great value for money.
They even delivered milk at night, which was a thoughtful touch.

KKim_zhiyouThe WeChat customer service was very responsive. The room decorations for my birthday were lovely. Also, the manager at the 49th-floor restaurant, the young lady from Shenyang, was incredibly warm and provided excellent service; I had a cold, and she specially arranged for lemon water.
On the downside, the toilet in the bathroom wasn't smart. And sometimes, the staff outside the lobby wouldn't open the car door.

MmumuThe environment is decent, but the location is really out of the way with hardly any food options and limited delivery services. I ordered late-night supper from the hotel's own restaurant, and it was terrible – cold and, more importantly, unsanitary. I ate it around 10 PM, and by 2 AM, I was violently throwing up and had diarrhea. Couldn't even get medicine delivered in the middle of the night. I toughed it out until morning, took some meds, but didn't feel better, so I ended up in the ER getting an IV drip.
I was supposed to be on vacation, and now I'm definitely not coming back. For a hotel costing over 3000, this level of quality is just unacceptable. Ended up with acute gastroenteritis. Seriously speechless.
