XXiangchuankuchadeyuI've been to Kunming for business a few times, but this is my first stay at this hotel, and it really exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. While checking in, they thoughtfully offered me a cup of hot ginger water because it was a bit chilly, which was a very sweet gesture. They even put a protective sleeve on my ID card – it's the little details that make all the difference. I can only say I'm extremely satisfied. The room was very clean and tidy, with a modern and spacious layout that made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious, clean, and hygienic. The hotel is also very close to both the metro station and Kunming Railway Station, with tons of great food options nearby. Choosing Aiman Huajian Hotel for this trip to Kunming was definitely the right decision. I'll be back again next time!

GGuest UserDue to an early morning flight the next day, I chose a hotel near the airport. This was my first time staying at this particular hotel, and overall, my experience was quite good. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helped me upgrade my room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel's surroundings are also quite nice, with several local restaurants nearby offering delicious food. The hotel offers airport drop-off service, wake-up calls, and grab-and-go breakfast options, which is very thoughtful. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserSo incredibly convenient! It's right inside the airport, directly across from the elevators. After grabbing your luggage, you just head up to the second floor for the hotel, and the third floor has all the dining options. Super handy! The service was warm and welcoming, and they even offer luggage storage. Five-star recommendation!

WWeisili2047Our independent trip to Yunnan concluded in Kunming, our final stop. We chose the Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, City Center because it's right next to Kunming's old town, placing us in the most vibrant part of downtown. Adjacent to it is the upscale Shuncheng Shopping Mall, and the Wuyi Road Station (Exit B) of Metro Line 3 is just 200 meters away. We stayed on the 28th floor, offering fantastic views of the Jinma Biji Archway, both day and night. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering advice on transportation and tourist attractions from a local's perspective. I really appreciate their assistance. The room was very clean, with a wide selection of live TV channels. The bathroom had modern shower facilities, and the bed and other amenities were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. A short 10-minute walk takes you to the 'Paper-Thin Buildings' in Kunming's old town (such as Duiyue Tower and Jiubei Tower, built to commemorate the 1946 victory in the Anti-Japanese War), which are quite lively in the evening. Nearby, you can also find the former residence of Mr. Nie Er (born in Kunming, he passed away at 23). The pedestrian area boasts many excellent restaurants, coffee shops, tea houses, and bars, making it easy to find good food and enjoy some leisure time.

MM10627****The room was spacious, and the solid wood desk felt really high-quality. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was very convenient for two people. They even have robots that can deliver takeout, which is pretty smart. Plus, there are charging stations right next to the hotel, which is great for electric car owners – no need to worry about finding a place to charge.

YYongganxixiMy parents and I have been traveling for a month now, and this Wanda hotel is their absolute favorite – they even said I have great taste in choosing hotels! The front desk staff were so patient and attentive. The room layout was well-designed and spacious. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing, and the environment was absolutely top-notch. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, a feast for the eyes! You can stay, eat, splash around in the shallow pools, and enjoy a comfortable hot spring soak. It was just so enjoyable!

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed. First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs. The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options. A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests. A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level. Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

GGuest UserNice hotel. Staff need some training when handling requests. Incident happen on 7 March 26. On 8th March evening, my daughter wanted to buy food on line. But because we are foreigners, we do not have local phone number. My daughters approached the concierge for assistances. However, the response was unacceptable. The male concierge questions my daughters why they don't have local number in a very rude way. My daughters were surpirse by his questions. It was good that another concierge intervene and asssit my daughters on their requests. Although in the end, we did not mamage to order food on line, we are thankful for the second concierge asssitance. That being said, the hotel need look into training front line staff in handling inquires even if they are unable to accede to their guest request.

PPOTThe Kunming Shangri-La (Dongfeng East Road) is an 'all-suite' flagship property set to open at the end of 2025. All 75 rooms are executive suites, starting from 55 square meters, and come fully equipped with Dyson amenities and Acqua di Parma toiletries. The design concept is themed around a 'tea merchant's private residence,' and the Horizon Club on the 18th floor offers 24-hour access. Its location is superb, with direct subway access to Spring City 66.

GGuest UserI'm not usually one to write reviews, but this time I just had to share how impressed I was. The check-in experience was genuinely fantastic. I especially loved the super friendly lady at the front desk – she made me feel really valued. The front desk truly is the face of a hotel, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Plus, the hotel environment is incredibly comfortable. Even though it's right in the city center, the room insulation is excellent. And for a foodie like me, having so many amazing restaurants nearby was just perfect!
