"Hotel stay praise This stay experience really exceeded expectations, and this hotel must be given a full score! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was amazed by the warm and elegant environment. The decoration was simple and stylish, the lighting was soft, and there was a faint aroma in the air, which made people feel relaxed and comfortable. The front desk staff was very attentive, the check-in speed was very fast, the whole process was smiling, and we took the initiative to help us with our luggage, introduce hotel facilities and surrounding play guides, patiently answer all questions, gentle and professional attitude, and people felt particularly warm. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and there is no noise interference when lying down for a good night. The room has good lighting, a wide view, complete bathroom facilities and clean odor-free, the quality of toiletries is also good, there are free mineral water and small snacks, and the details are full of care. The hotel's breakfast is rich in variety, Chinese and Western styles, fresh ingredients, great taste, can meet the needs of different tastes. The public areas are spotless, the elevators and corridors are clean and tidy, the security measures are also in place, and the stay is full of security. LLansedemeng4616Traveling through Southeast Yunnan with family and friends, we stayed at this hotel on our way home. It's a new hotel, only opened this year, and it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the front desk staff, especially one young lady, provided really thoughtful and heartwarming service. She even escorted us to our room and helped us with our luggage, making us feel right at home. The hotel is also very close to Kunming Railway Station – just a ten-minute walk with our suitcases. All in all, a great experience!

GGuest UserArrived at night, and the airport pickup was very efficient. The hotel isn't far from the airport. Even though it was almost midnight when I checked in, the two front desk ladies were still very gentle and patient. Not only did they upgrade my room, but they also gave me a complimentary fruit platter. The hotel room was very clean, the bedding was spotless, and the in-room facilities were new and well-equipped. It was great, definitely recommend!

You can walk to check-in in about 5 minutes, which gives you more time to rest. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic; they even called ahead to give me directions and important information, which was very thoughtful. The room was clean. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe facilities are simple and compact; the space is small but sufficient. The elevator, which many people have mentioned, is indeed a bit slow, but it's acceptable. Breakfast is a bit unexciting, and the gym is quite empty. If you order takeout, a robot will deliver it to your room. The service is very good and responsive. The hotel is located in the old downtown area, at the intersection of several shopping malls: Bailian, Shuncheng, Wangfujing, and Baida are right downstairs. Next to it is the old street night market, which is very convenient if you enjoy the vibe of the old city. In the evening, there's ethnic dancing at Bailian Square, which is very lively.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed. First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs. The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options. A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests. A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level. Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

WWELLCzThis is a well-established five-star hotel in the area, once famous as Kunming's tallest building. During my holiday travels, I passed through Kunming and was deciding between a hotel in a scenic area and the Grand Park Hotel. Considering the potential noise in the scenic area, I chose the latter, and I'm so glad I made that smart decision. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. We had a lot of luggage, and we were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a corner suite, which completely alleviated our concerns about space. Both the public areas and the rooms are decorated in a simple yet elegant and stylish manner. The materials used are solid, and the maintenance is impeccable, so it doesn't feel old at all. It truly lives up to its five-star rating. The room offered expansive views, excellent soundproofing, and was spotlessly clean. The bedding was comfortable and soft against the skin, and the hot water supply was quick and abundant. Coming back after a day of sightseeing and enjoying a relaxing bath in the tub was just perfect. The location is right next to a subway station, with a direct one-stop ride to the high-speed rail. To the north, it's just one transfer to the Wuyi Road scenic area and commercial district, and to the east, one transfer to the airport. Taxis are also very convenient. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. My trip was rushed this time, so I didn't have a chance to experience the pool or other amenities. If I get the opportunity to visit Kunming again, I will definitely choose Grand Park Hotel!

GGuest UserThe room decor is really well done, making excellent use of the limited space – it even gave me some ideas for home organization! For environmental reasons, the room provides a water purifier for direct drinking water, and regular bottled mineral water is also available, catering to different preferences. Since Jen shares its gym, pool, and bar facilities with Shangri-La, these amenities are far superior to what you'd typically find at a Jen hotel. If these aspects are important to you, then Jen offers great value for money in that sense. Special thanks to staff members Isabel, Grace, and Remy for their excellent service.

GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel facilities are quite good, but there's an issue with the property management – only one elevator is operational for over ten floors. It takes about fifteen minutes to get downstairs, which is also a torment for the staff, who have to squeeze into the elevator with us... This property management is really unprofessional. Hygiene: The cleaning was very thorough. Although it's an old hotel that has been renovated, the rooms feel almost brand new. Environment: It's right in the city center, with a subway station downstairs. You're right next to Shuncheng Shopping Center and Kunming Old Street. Highly recommended. Service: The service was very warm and helpful. The front desk staff assisted us with delivering items (not takeout) and extended our check-out time. The staff's attitude was excellent. Overall, I'm quite satisfied, except for the elevator problem. When checking out, I noticed the staff were also complaining about it. I hope it gets resolved soon.
