Quaint little place tucked away next to Ping Jiang Road. A little way off the main road (Da ru Alley) for drop off, but the staff is sweet to move our luggages there for us on checking out. Rooms well furnished with everything we need and free snacks and drinks. Do give it a try.

The hotel is located at the heart of Pingjiang road so it’s very convenient for us to explore nearby attractions. We also especially love the interior of the accommodation. Our hotel room is very comfortable and the afternoon tea and breakfast was also beautifully done. Overall, we are very happy with our stay here. This hotel is located just by the Pingjiang Street. When I have to enter a small alley to the lobby I was a bit sceptical but when I checked in the room, I was amazed by the coziness of the room, and the space is also big. My hotel faces the river so it offers a very good view. I will dedinitely come back again.

The Citadines Xinghai is well situated in the Suzhou CBD just west of Jinji Lake. Our stay was brief, as we arrived on an evening flight and just had the one night. We had a small Studio Suite, which suited us perfectly for a short stay. If staying longer, I would probably suggest upgrading to a bedroom Suite. Great view of the nearby high rises from the room. The hotel is perhaps becoming a bit dated, but still very comfortable and a great location. The staff was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. A nice breakfast, as well. Would certainly recommend Citadines for business travelers.
