AAnonymous UserOur stay coincided with the hotel's Chinese New Year celebrations, and the atmosphere was even better than we expected. The lobby was decorated festively with red and gold, yet it wasn't tacky. Every afternoon, there were interactive activities like writing Spring Festival couplets and making dumplings, which really added to the holiday spirit. The New Year's special menu at the restaurant was excellent value; every dish had a auspicious meaning, and the taste was spot-on. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. The room, as always, was clean and comfortable. Upon check-in, the staff thoughtfully informed us of the activity schedule and even helped us reserve a window seat for our New Year's Eve dinner. Penny provided excellent service. We'll definitely consider coming back here for future holidays.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Fengxian, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel strikes a great balance between comfort, service, and modern design. Rooms: The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, contributing to a relaxing environment after a long day. Service: The staff was consistently professional and attentive. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and any requests I made were handled promptly. While not everyone spoke fluent English, they were eager to assist and always did so with a positive attitude. Dining: Breakfast offered a good mix of local and Western dishes. I found the variety and quality to be above average for a business hotel. The restaurant staff was courteous and ensured the dining area remained clean and well-stocked throughout service. Facilities: The gym and public areas were clean and modern. I didn’t get a chance to use the meeting rooms, but they looked well-equipped. The hotel also had a calm, business-friendly atmosphere that made it ideal for both work and rest. Location: Situated in Fengxian, it’s a bit outside central Shanghai, but perfect if you have business in the area. It’s relatively easy to access via Didi or taxi. The nearby surroundings are quiet and safe, with a few local restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance. Overall: A solid choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort and consistency in Fengxian. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to others looking for a dependable Marriott experience outside the city center.

GGuest UserStayed at the Banyan Tree on the Bund with my parents during Chinese New Year. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly warm and patient. The rooms are genuinely spacious, and the scallion oil noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious – a must-order every morning! The hotel's location is also excellent, in North Bund. When choosing a hotel, I was debating whether to stay directly on the Bund, and now I'm so glad I didn't. It's truly too crowded there during peak tourist season. This location is much better, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. And here's the best part: we got upgraded to a Bund river-view room, and the view was absolutely unbeatable. The room rate felt entirely worth it. Next time I'm in Shanghai, Banyan Tree will definitely be my top choice.

MMelody mengA very satisfying stay. The room was incredibly clean; even though it's an older hotel, it smelled fresh with no peculiar odors. The room facilities weren't outdated either, feeling quite high-quality. The service was excellent, with staff from the front desk to housekeeping being warm and attentive. The surrounding area has plenty of businesses, with a rich variety of Chinese and international restaurants and snacks. The hotel entrance is right at People's Square subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The only minor regret is that the classic red roses were replaced with pink ones. Personally, I think the red ones were more elegant and timeless.

__WeChat317249****First off, let's talk about the location. It's right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. Yu Garden is just one subway stop away, and Jing'an Temple is two stops. Taxis are also very affordable, costing around ten-odd yuan to get almost anywhere. Of course, walking or biking can be fun too; for example, on the way to the Bund, passing by Fuzhou Road, I was pleasantly surprised to discover classic eateries like Lao Zheng Xing and Wang Bao He, and the sculptures on the foreign language bookstore's facade were truly unique! Then there's the hotel building itself, which has such a rich sense of history. Especially the staircase on the first floor – it must be original, with its delicate carvings and natural wear. Every time I went up and down, it felt like I was traveling back to the 1930s... The room was incredibly quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. Dining is also very convenient. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, there are places like Xiao Jinling and Xiao Shaoxing in the small street behind it, offering delicious and reasonably priced food. I stayed for several days and still couldn't get enough. If you prefer bolder flavors, there are also spicy crayfish, Ma Du, and Liu Dongliang Food Stall nearby. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

GGuest UserDuring my recent stay at Chateau Star River Hotel, I found the facilities to be excellent and the interior decor tastefully designed, creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, contributing to an overall pleasant physical environment. However, the service quality did not match the standard expected from such a well-appointed hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk staff mistakenly assigned me a children’s room, which required me to return to reception and resolve the issue—a rather inconvenient start to my stay. While the room I was eventually given was comfortable and spacious, cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathtub, in particular, had two dead flies and a hardened stain on its surface, which was quite disappointing. I did encounter staff members who demonstrated professionalism—for example, the gentleman managing the breakfast check-in was courteous and efficient. Nonetheless, such instances were the exception rather than the rule. On one occasion, I decided to book a massage at the hotel spa to relieve some back pain. The treatment, which cost approximately $50, was average and initially unproblematic. Unfortunately, at the end of the session, the masseuse offered me an additional service, the nature of which I will refrain from describing here, but I trust it is not difficult to imagine. I declined immediately. Regardless of the hotel's level of control over this matter, given that the spa operates within the premises, I found this situation deeply inappropriate and upsetting.

GGuest UserStaying right in the heart of Lujiazui! The night view of the 'Lujiazui Three-Piece Suit' from here is absolutely stunning 🌃 Finally got to check into the much-anticipated Regent Shanghai Pudong! It truly lives up to its reputation as a Lujiazui landmark! The views are absolutely fantastic 💓 Just a 15-minute walk to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Super convenient for shopping and dining at IFC and Super Brand Mall~ - 🔖 I did my research before checking in. Choosing to stay on the 35th-floor 'Regent Club' level allows you to enjoy 'exclusive privileges' 💡 Breakfast, afternoon tea, and Happy Hour can all be enjoyed directly at the 'Regent Club'‼️ Especially after sunset, sitting by the window feels incredibly special! - Back in the bright and spacious room, The Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' is framed perfectly outside the window. Now I get to experience the daily view of financial elites too~ Hehe 😎 - Dinner was at the hotel's 2nd-floor Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant. The classical Chinese-inspired design creates a very stylish ambiance~ Their 'Ginger and Scallion Shrimp Claypot' and 'Cherry Blossom Shrimp Scallion Oil Noodles' truly amazed me! #Output format: Return the result in JSON format, with 'translation' as the key.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located for transportation and shopping, with a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. Marry Liu at the front desk provided excellent service with a smile. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. There were even complimentary welcome drinks in the mini-fridge. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

GGuest UserDuring our stay, we did not identify any significant shortcomings in the hotel. Its prime location, where it is easily accessible on foot to the Bund, was a notable feature. The room conditions were excellent, with thorough cleaning and hygiene measures in place, and the facilities functioned properly. The hotel’s amenities, such as the laundry facilities, added practical value and were more than just marketing gimmicks. The staff at the front desk, Xiao Qin and Xiao Wu, demonstrated professionalism and were able to efficiently address guests’ needs. Overall, considering the balance of cost and quality, this hotel is a safe and reliable choice, with strong performance across all aspects.
