The hotel staff are very nice service mind and try to help every time. Don’t worry of you did not have the Chinese number, you can use the Wechat app to contact with the staff. The staff can speak English very well. The house keeper alway clean the bathroom and the toilet, everything are clean all the time. 😊 Nice time for me.

I ended up upgrading to the Shanghai Suite with River View, and it was truly breathtaking. The view was absolutely stunning ~ definitely a 5star experience. I’m so grateful to Max, who made my stay at the hotel even better. During our trip, my child had a persistent high fever and developed a full body allergic reaction after taking antibiotics. Max recommended we visit Shanghai Jiao Tong University Hospital, and my child recovered in just two days. I’m truly thankful for Max from the Maxx Hotel. The food at the hotel was delicious. We especially loved the little robot that delivered items to our room,it was so cute! The hotel location is super convenient, just right across from The Bund. The bed was very comfortable and the environment was extremely quiet. They even provide a Dyson hairdryer ,no need to bring your own! 我最后给钱升级了shanghai suit with river view 这个房型。 风景真的很美很美，尤其是晚上。 风景必须得5星好评。 我很感恩这个人Max。他让我在这个酒店的体验感更好。 我的孩子在这个时候高烧不退，吃了抗生素全身过敏，之后他介绍了我们去上海交通大学医院， 两天就好了！真的感恩maxx酒店的max。 酒店食物是好吃的。 最喜欢送东西上来的机器人， 好可爱啊！ 酒店地点很方便，对面就是外滩了。 床很舒服，环境超级安静。 吹风筒是dyson的哦。 可以不用自己在额外带来了。 天气太冷，我要求了暖炉。 这边洗澡水很大，很热，超舒服 沙发也干净。 酒店的日本餐爱吃生的可以try，好吃，价格高。 记得register“华住会” 有免费早餐哦。 我们两大一小住这儿。 good

I’ve been visiting The Peninsula for a decade, and it’s a magnificent hotel. The location is brilliant, the indoor pool is one of the best in the world, the spa team is phenomenal. Yet on this recent visit, the service, while quite good, wasn’t the sort of impeccable, seamless joy one hopes for: the early staffing for breakfast was limited, without a dedicated host to welcome and seat guests; I realize it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, but a twenty minute wait just to be able to order room service is a bit much; over half of the deserts on the menu were unavailable. The room is wonderfully comfortable as always, fantastic housekeeping and amenities—I do hope they can get back to the very high bar they’ve set for themselves across all of their hotels. Plus truly stunning views if you’re in a river view room.

Our stay in this hotel was excellent. It surpassed our expectations on every level. The rooms were big, clean and the beds were comfortable. We booked the hotel with the breakfast included and we loved it all three of including our 7 year old daughter. In other hotels in Shanghai we did not like the breakfast but this really was amazing. They served at breakfast a variety of food such as croissants in different flavours, in the moment made sushi, cakes, sausages, a variety of chinese food and lots more. We were not let down at all. The service in the hotel was great as well, they called is a taxi when needed and used the shuttle service to the airport. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is very good, just next to IFC mall and some shopping centres nearby. We stayed for 3 nights for our anniversary and the staff upgraded us to a room facing the Bund view. The room is nice, spacious and clean. Special thanks to Rosy for taking care of our needs and bringing us a delicious cake to celebrate. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay and we will be staying in Ritz Carlton again when we come to Shanghai.

booked a room at the Banyan tree for my parents who were visiting to celebrate their wedding anniversary and upon check in we were greeted by the most lovely staff who quickly helped my parents check in and upgraded us for free to a nicer room. It also had prepared Rose petals within the room and some desserts to celebrate their wedding anniversary which was very appreciated. The room was unbelievable and the view alone made the whole experience worth it. My parents absolutely loved their stay and couldn’t stop raving about the service of all the workers as well. we had some items that my family were unsure if we could bring onto flight, and the hotel staff even went out of their way to call the airline to confirm for us. hotel amenities also great, huge gym and pool with multiple spas, and gym having a reformer pilates machine too. we’ve been to many hotels within shanghai now and this is by far the best , with strong service, a modern room and incredible view. all the photos of the view in the review were taken from within the room, better than going out to the bund!

Despite it being 12am, Jude was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting me with a parcel that was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. His willingness to help at such a late hour, coupled with his calm and professional attitude, truly reflects the high standards of service associated with Waldorf Astoria. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Jude — his dedication did not go unnoticed and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. 我想特别表扬 Waldorf Astoria 礼宾部的 Jude。 尽管已是凌晨12点，他仍非常耐心并主动协助我处理寄错地址的包裹，服务专业又贴心。这样的敬业精神让我深受感动，也充分体现了贵酒店一贯的高水准服务。 The other team members in the concierge department also did a helpful job with our baggage. It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my Meituan food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!
