"I brought my family here for a vacation and we chose this hotel. Overall, we were very satisfied! 👍 Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 9:30 AM, with a wide variety of delicious options that everyone, young and old, can enjoy. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is super convenient for washing clothes while traveling. The rooms are clean and quiet, the staff are attentive, and all the amenities are perfect for family travel. We had a very comfortable stay and will definitely book here again for our next trip! The Redstar Culture Hotel (Hongxing Wenhua Dasha) is an elegant hotel located on the eastern section of West Lake Avenue. The hotel is within walking West Lake, Hangzhou's most popular attraction. There are a variety of beautifully-furnished rooms, some of which offer spectacular views over West Lake. Business, Eye Hospital of Zhejiang University ,executive and non-smoking floors are available. When it comes to dining, there are both Chinese and Western restaurants on the first and second floor of this Hangzhou hotel. For business travelers, the hotel has a business center and a wide selection of meeting and conference rooms.During their spare time, guests can play chess or poker, exercise in the gym, or melt away stress by getting a massage.

"The location was great and the hotel has all the amenities expected of a 4-star hotel. Rooms are spacious, however it does look a bit dated compared to other hotels in the same category. The breakfast is top tier, lots of selection and the dining room is large. The biggest complaint I have is that the hotel smells heavily of cigarettes. The windows don't open and the floors are carpeted so the smell lingers. Although this is a none smoking hotel, guests will ignore the signs and smoke in the hallways. My mom and I both started feeling unwell does to poor ventilation in our room after the first night. We requested to switch rooms and the receptionist arranged a different room for us immediately. Another thing to note is that large tour groups also stay at this hotel. The second morning, we arrived for breakfast right at the beginning, however most of the food was already taken by a large tour group who came down a few minutes earlier. It was very noisy and messy, unlike the first morning, which was very calm with plenty of food options."

"I’m a solo traveler and this village style hotel truly amazed me. The village itself is at a great location in the city, between Lingyin Temple and the West Lake, making all trips extremely convenient. The style of the hotel is very unique - stylish building blocks with very new and advanced facilities. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibes are peaceful and quiet, especially at night, making the hotel a great choice for family visits. Rooms are spacious and very clean without a doubt. I genuinely had a wonderful time here and will definitely come back again!"

Hotel near Qianjiang New Town,Hangzhou
The Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Hangzhou. The hotel is only 6km from Hangzhou Railway Station and 25km from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. In addition, Jiangjin Road Metro Station is just a short walk away. This hotel is located near many of Hangzhou's attractions including Hangzhou International Convention Center, Hangzhou Grand Theater and Qiangjiang New Town. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Hangzhou hotel features parking on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is the usual choice for a large number of business travelers.

"The room was quite spacious, and the view was great, directly facing several iconic Qiantang River buildings. I could enjoy the night view and the light show from my bed. The restaurant offerings were also good, with Chinese, buffet, and Japanese options. The downside is that the decor is a bit dated, and the toilet isn't smart. The hairdryer is also an old model; they should consider replacing it entirely. It doesn't quite fit a modern hotel."

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated. Cons: 1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink. 2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience. Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

TTinyjhThis hotel is quite unique and in a great location. It's pretty smart, allowing for face recognition check-in for the entire stay. The room comes with makeup remover wipes, toner, lotion, and cream. The lobby is spacious and bright, and it's very close to Hangzhou High-Speed Railway Station, making it easy to catch a taxi. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. They also offer a self-service breakfast and late-night snack. If you're booking a room, ask for Wang Yue; she's very enthusiastic.

GGuest UserThe hotel is small but exquisite, with a serene and elegant Japanese Zen garden. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the private hot spring baths are wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic. The amenities are refined and comprehensive. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, making the check-in experience feel truly special. The food is fresh and delicious, and the 'nine-grid' breakfast is quite unique.

ZZitengzixiaoXianghu Xiaoyao Manor | A Poetic Retreat Amidst Scenic Beauty My family and I spent the weekend at Xianghu Xiaoyao Manor, and the experience was nothing short of perfect. I just had to share it! The hotel's setting is undoubtedly its biggest highlight—perched on the shores of Xianghu Lake, it blends traditional white walls and black tiles with modern design. Open the window and you're greeted by lush greenery. Mornings offer misty lake views, and evenings are painted with sunset hues reflecting on the water. Strolling through the grounds feels like being in a traditional Chinese ink wash painting, so serene and elegant that all your worries melt away. The room was an even bigger surprise. We stayed in a Xiaoyao Suite, where the oversized floor-to-ceiling windows framed the lake and mountain scenery like a living masterpiece. The interior design was sophisticated and grand, the bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, and the pillows offered just the right support, ensuring a great night's sleep. Every detail spoke of quality, from the toiletries to the smart amenities, all impeccable. The service experience also deserves special mention. From the gentle and professional explanation by the front desk staff during check-in, to the prompt response of housekeeping, and the restaurant staff who refilled our water and inquired about our meal preferences—every interaction made us feel truly cared for. A special shout-out to the Shuiyang Chinese Restaurant! We ordered dishes like Sister Song's Fish Broth and Kung Pao Shrimp Balls, and each dish perfectly showcased the essence of Hangzhou cuisine. Dining here was an absolute delight. Practical tips: I recommend choosing a lake-view room; watching Xianghu Lake shrouded in morning mist is incredibly therapeutic. For a window seat at Shuiyang Chinese Restaurant, make sure to book in advance. The hotel surroundings are perfect for cycling or leisurely walks. All in all, whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply an escape from the city bustle, this place is an excellent choice. We will definitely be back!

GGuest UserI guess I'm a loyal customer of this hotel in Xian Mountain, Qiandao Lake. I've been there twenty times, and every time I visit Qiandao Lake, I still choose this hotel. There's a unique sense of appropriateness here – they don't seem to be merely providing service, but rather 'taking care' of you, making you feel like entering the hotel truly marks the beginning of a vacation: free, comfortable, pleasant, and warm! I felt it the moment I arrived. The car had barely stopped at the entrance when the bellhop scurried over to open the car door, greeting us with a smiling 'Hello, welcome home.' After we checked in, a bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage, introducing himself as he led us to the elevator: 'If you need anything these next few days, just call the concierge. My name is Henry.' He was a bright and efficient young man with a constant smile. Just hearing him say that, and seeing his smile, made you feel like he wasn't just completing a task, but genuinely inviting you to reach out, all to put your mind at ease! On the day we checked in, I casually asked if there were any good running routes nearby and what fun things there were to do. Henry actually took the time to draw me a map, explaining the hotel's layout, where I could run, where I could cycle, where I could hike, where I could pick bayberries, and where I could eat. He even reminded me, 'Before 6:30 AM, the boardwalk is less crowded. If you like photography, you can go and take pictures of the sunrise; it’s really beautiful.' The next morning, we indeed went to the lighthouse and the camphor tree forest. When we returned, dripping with sweat, we ran into him again in the lobby. He enthusiastically asked, 'Finished your run? The weather's great today, how was it?' – just like an old friend I'd known for ages. It feels wonderful to be remembered! Another time, our group of ten went to the hotel. In the evening, he led us to chase the sunset. We walked cheerfully along the path on Xian Mountain Peninsula. He walked in front, constantly describing the surrounding scenery and sharing stories of past guests, occasionally turning back to make sure everyone was still with us. In that moment, it didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like being shown around by a local old friend, listening to him share everything about the area… The hotel is now called InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, and everything is still as beautiful and comfortable in that resort style. The moment you step into your hotel room and open the door, the entire Qiandao Lake unfolds before your eyes. You can't help but think: 'This is exactly what I wanted!' The mist and mountain breeze intertwine, a gentle drizzle, so comfortable you don't want to move. The bedding was just the right firmness, and I swapped my pillow for a buckwheat one, sleeping soundly until my alarm went off – which is quite rare in a hotel. The breakfast restaurant is also the most extensive among similar hotels, with a vast array of dishes prepared meticulously. There were six or seven kinds of green leafy vegetables for the salad alone, and a variety of dressings. There was also a young man making fresh squeezed juice, busy but with a good-natured smile on his face all morning long… So, what does staying in a hotel mean, you ask? Is it just staying for two nights, looking at the lake, and eating fish head? Actually, it's about enjoying the service the hotel provides, not just the 'hello, thank you, sorry' routine, but feeling that someone truly cares about your feelings, your needs, and your mood! InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort doesn't feel like staying in a hotel to me; it feels more like visiting a friend's home who truly understands you. You want to go back every now and then to see your old friend and everything you hold dear! The lake view is beautiful, but what makes me want to keep returning are those warm moments I remember… The lake views will stay in our photo albums and on our phones, but those people and those moments of being treated with kindness will always remain in my heart…

SShuangshuangxiaomayiXixi Wetland in May is absolutely breathtaking, like a fairyland. We spent the weekend at the Banyan Tree, a classic luxury hotel, and stepping into the lobby felt like entering a Jiangnan fairytale! Our butler, Olive, provided exceptional service; she contacted us before arrival with a warm greeting and thoughtfully upgraded our room. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with a well-designed layout and classical aesthetics. Enjoying tea on the balcony while admiring the view was incredibly pleasant! The charm of the details was evident everywhere, from the tea sets and welcome fruit to the exquisite bookmarks and little gift of pastries. All the staff were incredibly warm and polite. The electric buggy service for short transfers was very convenient. Breakfast was refined, rich, and delicious. After breakfast, we took a lovely stroll around the hotel, watching the fish and ducks play in the water. We had a wonderful holiday!

ZZemoZemorIt's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

KKapibala1314Our family is practically regulars at the Grand Hyatt Hangzhou, and whenever we visit Hangzhou with our child, this hotel is always our top choice. We've stayed many times, and each visit is consistently satisfying – it definitely deserves a full five-star review! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for families. Just cross the road and you're right by West Lake. A few minutes' walk takes you to the Hubin Music Fountain, Longxiang Bridge subway station, and the in77 shopping mall. During the day, we can stroll along the lake and take a boat ride on West Lake with our child, and in the evening, we can shop and enjoy delicious food. There's no need for long taxi rides, which doubles the happiness when traveling with kids. Every time we check in and mention we have a child, the staff proactively prepares kids' toiletries and small slippers. We can also request a free crib, and sometimes they even provide small snacks and toys, which always makes our child incredibly happy. The rooms are spacious and not cramped, with expansive views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. When we book a lake-view room, our child loves to lean by the window and watch the boats on West Lake. In the evening, we don't have to jostle with crowds to see the music fountain – we can watch it from our room, which is convenient and safe. The bathroom has a large bathtub, perfect for letting our child soak after a day of playing, making bedtime routines very easy. Housekeeping is meticulous and thorough, and the bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, so our child falls asleep quickly after a busy day. The breakfast selection is incredibly rich. It includes local Hangzhou specialties like Pian'er Chuan noodles and pastries, as well as kid-friendly options like milk, yogurt, steamed eggs, small buns, and hash browns. The flavors are mild and suitable for all, meeting the diverse needs of the whole family. Sitting by the window, enjoying breakfast with a lake view, truly makes the morning experience perfect. The hotel's indoor heated pool has clean water, a suitable temperature, and excellent natural light. Every time we visit, we take our child for a swim, and they absolutely love it. Whether it's the front desk staff, concierge, or room service, everyone is gentle and patient. When we're carrying large luggage with our child and it's inconvenient, the concierge always comes forward to help. Any small request in the room is responded to quickly and efficiently, without any perfunctory delays. The staff also enthusiastically recommends kid-friendly routes and nearby restaurants, which are heartwarming details. After so many stays, we've never had a bad experience. The hardware facilities are well-maintained, the family-friendly amenities are thoughtful, and the location is simply unbeatable. As long-term repeat guests, I sincerely recommend this place to families traveling to Hangzhou with children. It's hassle-free, comfortable, and offers a perfect experience. The next time we bring our child to West Lake, we will definitely stay at Grand Hyatt Hangzhou again!
