Spa Hotels in Hangzhou

The breakfast was pathetic. The hot spring bath was basically a communal bathhouse. The pool was terrible, easy to get hurt and bleed. Swimsuits bought on site were ten times the price of those outside. If you want to participate in activities, you have to follow the hotel's schedule, you can't just use a car whenever you want, which was very inconvenient. Other than golf, there was nothing else to do nearby. The cycling scenery was just mediocre, and the mountain view from the scripture copying area was also just okay. There were no places to wander around. Besides the golf course, which you couldn't even enter freely. Although the service at the Western restaurant for dinner was good, the ingredients were just average. The food at the Chinese restaurant for lunch and dinner wasn't very tasty, and the prices were high. I wouldn't want to come again.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Garden Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful complimentary snacks and drinks prepared for us. It was also a lovely surprise to find a fresh rose in the room — such a beautiful detail. The breakfast was very enjoyable, especially the delicious cappuccino. The swimming pool was absolutely amazing, and the gym with its beautiful view of the pool made the whole experience even more relaxing. The resort truly makes you feel like you are on holiday in Thailand, even though you are in Hangzhou. The atmosphere, design, and facilities are outstanding. A special thank you to Xiaofan for her warm hospitality and attentive service. She made our stay even more pleasant and memorable. Rose Garden is truly one of the best resorts in Hangzhou. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back again!

While listed as 5-star on Trip.com, the facilities and service here definitely don't live up to that rating. I asked the staff, and they said it's a 4-star hotel masquerading as a 5-star. Can star ratings just be arbitrarily assigned? Doesn't Trip.com verify these things? The hallways smelled of smoke, and people were even smoking in the elevator. The second floor had a strong cafeteria smell with a hint of mildew. The restaurant's hygiene was subpar; a couple of the dumplings for supper had a noticeable rancid taste. The indoor temperature fluctuated wildly, and the room decor was gaudy. I'd say it's barely worth the 400+ yuan price, but the 5-star rating is misleading.

This place is practically a Kyoto-Hangzhou branch, several friends even thought we had gone abroad when I didn't share the location! From the moment we entered to check-in, everything felt so ceremonial: the hand-washing basin, water divination, welcome tea and snacks, making sachets, and a full introduction to all areas and activities. We were even able to check in early, which was a great help as a room was already clean. Right when we arrived, there were chilled noodles in the hot spring area, which were absolutely delicious! Since there were many adults and children in our group, we decided to go out for dinner. When we returned, we went straight for the hot springs. The amenities provided were from good brands and very comprehensive. It was my first time experiencing a Japanese-style hot spring, and it was quite a novel experience. Afterwards, there was delicious chilled milk in glass bottles. The kids had a blast in the hot spring lounge area, happily devouring fruits, snacks, drinks, and ice cream. After a round of fun, it was time for late-night oden. The adults were full and content, returning to their rooms to rest. The next day's nine-compartment breakfast looked small but was incredibly satisfying. This was truly an extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely unexpected and perfect hot spring trip. If you're coming to Hangzhou, you should definitely plan to visit this place! 😆

Came here for my husband's birthday, and the entire estate spoiled us rotten. I specifically brought my husband here for his birthday, and chose Xianghu Xiaoyao Manor – absolutely no regrets. The hotel is nestled amidst the mountains and waters by Xianghu Lake, showcasing Song-style aesthetics with beautiful scenery at every turn. It's not as noisy as the West Lake area, and you immediately feel yourself slowing down the moment you arrive. What I want to praise most is the service. When checking in, I mentioned it was my husband's birthday, and a front desk staff member named Alex was incredibly thoughtful. He proactively upgraded our room type, and that 'cared for but no pressure' feeling was truly a rare find. The Hangzhou cuisine at the Watery Restaurant was amazing, and the breakfast selection was extensive. Having breakfast with a lake view instantly lifted our spirits. Whether it's for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family vacation, with options for walks, cycling, and lake tours, it's perfect.

This hotel is located far from the city center, nestled amidst mountains and water, offering a fantastic environment. It's much more suitable for a vacation than hotels in the central lake area. The hotel facilities are exceptionally well-maintained; you truly understand the value for money once you stay here. Our butler, Felix, provided excellent service. The weather wasn't ideal this time, as we caught an 'autumn tiger' heatwave, making it hot and stuffy with no refreshing autumn breeze. I'll definitely plan to visit again in October next time for a more comfortable experience.

Given the recent rainy weather, not only could I borrow an umbrella from them, but upon check-out, the front desk offered me a complimentary coffee and even walked me to the roadside with an umbrella to hail a taxi. These small details truly show the hotel's attentiveness. Everything from the service and cleanliness to the facilities exceeded my expectations. Outdoors, there's a sand digging area, making it very convenient if you're traveling with children. For the indoor swimming pool, remember to bring your swimsuits, caps, and floats in advance. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor has moderate prices; I recommend the braised pork with tea fragrance. For breakfast on the second day, come early to snag a window seat with lake views. They proactively offer introductions to the dishes, including noodles, wontons, and Jianbing Guozi (Chinese savory crepes). The room's air conditioning was already on when we arrived, and it features panoramic windows, a dehumidifier, and complimentary welcome fruits. Hotel guests also receive tickets to Nongfu Spring (mineral water company), and it's a 10-minute drive to their factory area, which you can drive into. I've chosen Conrad for my recent trips to Hangzhou, mainly because I love their 1.5-meter twin beds. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but Coco at the front desk was incredibly proactive and empathetic in resolving the issue. She deserves a shout-out! The view is also great, though the designer clearly didn't test things out in person – I've bumped my head on the safe several times.
